just got the Force's as well, overall i love em but there are some small quality of life features i like about burton that union doesn't provide. A disc specific to the channel would be nice cause its hard to line up your bindings, and then a slit on the ankle strap so it doesn't fall back into the binding when stepping in. They are a bit heavier but i don't mind since i can really adjust everything even the heel cup

Barefooted, my right foot measures 26.5 mm, equivalent to a size 8.5 in the USA, while my left foot measures 26.7 mm, equivalent to a size 9. Considering your advice from another video about those boots running half a size larger, should I go for the 8.5 Ride Fuse? Thanks!
Some personal input: my feet size is about 265-270mm with snow socks on. My regular shoes are US 9.5. I'm good with US 9.0 snowboard boots of most brands, except Burton ones. Burton's boot feels a little narrower. Haven't tried any Ride boots but based on the size alone, it may be a little small for you.

its your preference you can go either way, all union binding toe straps can go on top or over the toe. They even have two placements in the chasis you can adjust while the bindings are mounted to dial that in.

I since then bought some Burton Mission bindings in 2021, which only go over the toe, & I liked them much more. Just nice to see these Unions are more versatile.
freeze frame some Torstein Horgmo footage at Baldface Natural Selection last year. His toe straps go over the top. I think he is using Union bindings and his DC signature boots. My DC Control boots don't work reliably with the Union Force classic toe strap. Maybe I'd have had better luck going over the top with that setup. @@exorder2005

Now it´s just business. Happy to sell anything. Boots for five hundred dollars or more, same goes for bindings and boards...
Big fan of 32 for rugged everyday resort wear. The pant cinch is clutch and the end of season sale deals are ludicrous. I actually wear a Sitka hunting wear piece as a mid layer. It's the best piece of clothing I own and very functional with things like a built in balaclava that you can move out of the way when not using and a minimal hood that fits under helmet. Also has thin mittens built into the sleeves that I've found to come in pretty handy from time to time. It's also merino wool. Hunters know how to design clothes for cold weather and heavy movement.

I have! The merino balaclava is awesome. It fits a little tighter than the waffle grid so I usually only wear it for very cold days or powder days (Doubling up facemasks). Only because I have to pull my mask down quite a bit to talk in the videos, so the merino doesn't work as well for me in that scenario
I’ve got a merino wool facemask. Love it, but.. Pretty pricey, so I was a bit disappointed how beaten up it got after one day of use, any jackets with velcro are gonna rip it up, also potentially your helmet strap. Personally I might got for synthetics next time, or do TJ’s method of doubling it up, but with the wool on the inside.
