Pond Prowler mods with bow mount trolling motor

This is my newest mod. I modified an Quest Angular 8 boat (just like a Pond Prowler). I added a bow mount Minn Kota Terrova trolling motor and other updates.

I have videos of the maiden voyage. It is a great little boat, caught a lot if fish with it this year. Ended up selling my Lowe 1620 because I just don't need it anymore.

I love the smaller front deck. How did you attach it to the boat?

I built a small frame out of aluminum square tubing and attached it to the boat with well nuts.

How do you like using the pedal drive? Wondering if I should get a pedal or hand drive for mine.

I never use it. I just use the remote easier for me. But I have a friend who is pedal only. The terrova has both and you can use them synonymously

Where did you mount your transducer?

The trolling motor has a transducer built into it. Just a 2d universal. I have since removed the fish finder because I really don't use it.

how did the well nuts hold up securing the platform? I have an xi3 I need to somehow fasten to my bass raider 10

So far they have held up great. I don't lift the boat using the platform as that will cause an issue but for what it is designed for it does great.
