    This is one of my favorites too.We make this all the time, We haven't made it with broccoli, but I used to make it with broccoli rabe. It's so good with corn roti.

      I love the Greek culture, but due to their oppression, we need to make some adjustments to the recipes. Vegetables that are over-cooked have no nutrients, causing malnutrition.
      I look forward to trying the Halloumi cheese.

    I love greens, and being from the south we mix together turnips and mustard; and sometimes cabbages and collards. It just depends on your preference. 😘😊

    Hi Dimitroula!
    By any chance do you have the recipe for Cypriot Flaounes? These savory "tarts" are made with a blend of three cheeses (haloumi, anari(?), and another cheese (not sure what kind; maybe kefalograviera???)
    Let me know what you find out please **These are usually made for Pascha**

    I’m definitely going to try this, one question cooking the green for that long wouldn’t that take out a lot of the nutrients?

    • @DimitrasDishes
      @DimitrasDishes  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The nutrients are still in the pot. They're in the juices :)

      @@DimitrasDishes I was going to ask what and how much can you substitute for the butter. I know the butter will add so much flavor but I just can't do that much of it due to cholesterol. How much olive oil or maybe half butter and half oil?

    • @DimitrasDishes

      The freezer section of the supermarket where they have veggies :) Fresh mustard greens can be found in Asian markets.

      @LindaC616 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sometimes a supermarket will have them in the fresh greens, next to the spinach, kale, rtc
