This is one of my favorites too.We make this all the time, We haven't made it with broccoli, but I used to make it with broccoli rabe. It's so good with corn roti.
I love the Greek culture, but due to their oppression, we need to make some adjustments to the recipes. Vegetables that are over-cooked have no nutrients, causing malnutrition. I look forward to trying the Halloumi cheese.
I love greens, and being from the south we mix together turnips and mustard; and sometimes cabbages and collards. It just depends on your preference. 😘😊
Hi Dimitroula! By any chance do you have the recipe for Cypriot Flaounes? These savory "tarts" are made with a blend of three cheeses (haloumi, anari(?), and another cheese (not sure what kind; maybe kefalograviera???) Let me know what you find out please **These are usually made for Pascha**
@@DimitrasDishes I was going to ask what and how much can you substitute for the butter. I know the butter will add so much flavor but I just can't do that much of it due to cholesterol. How much olive oil or maybe half butter and half oil?
Your receipts are great . You also have a pleasant personality
Thank you! What a way to get your vitamins.

I’m definitely going to try this, one question cooking the green for that long wouldn’t that take out a lot of the nutrients?
The nutrients are still in the pot. They're in the juices :)
Mmm! So tasty dip 🤤
Looks yummy
Could you add mushrooms and feta ?
Excellent 😋👍🤩
❤❤❤ DIMITRA
Can this be done in a crock pot
Can u use olive oil instead of butter? It looks yummy!

Where can I buy Mustard Green here in Boston ?
The freezer section of the supermarket where they have veggies :) Fresh mustard greens can be found in Asian markets.
Sometimes a supermarket will have them in the fresh greens, next to the spinach, kale, rtc
Market basket
Reminds me of Gorbachev somsing
In the uk we call it saag paneer.
great video as always!! special request: please fix that picture on the microwave!! it's been slightly crooked for forever!!
It's glued on...
Why don't you use Paneer instead of Halloumi,is it because it's not available there
I always have some halloumi and feta in my fridge :)
@@DimitrasDisheswhat legumes would work with these? I'd like to encorporate tofu in our meals more. How could I do that with this?
Horta Indian style....
haha! Yes and they're so tasty!
Better when steamed and not over cooked with still its green color. Just saying!!!!
Its an Indian dish.
I prefer gloves to prevent hair and skin in the food.
Feel free to wear them
