    I just made this today. The flavours are delicious although I feel the flavour of the dill was lost amongst the tomato and eggplant. I only used eggplant. It didn’t hold its shape as good as yours. I think it was because the marinara sauce was a little thin and I also omitted the eggs. It didn’t matter too much because we soaked up the sauces with Greek crusty fresh bread. Thank you for the freezer instructions.

    Is Harissa same as AJIKA in middle east? Thanks for great recipe. Also, you mentioned green beans can I add one can green beans?? When baking eggplant just cut brush some oil and bake 420 degrees for hoe long??? Please advise.

    • @DimitrasDishes
      @DimitrasDishes  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      sorry, I've never heard of Ajika. Harissa is a sauce that is made with roasted red peppers, some chilies, and spices. I love the brand that I mentioned in the video because it is not bitter or too spicy. But, you can just puree some roasted red peppers and add them to the sauce and it'll work... As for roasting the eggplants... about 25 minutes is how long it usually takes in the oven but sometimes it can take longer. They're ready when they're tender :) Enjoy!

    Dimitra This is a gift from greek heaven. I'm sure i'm going to make this very soon because i have a gluten intolerence and i dont like the gluten free pasta for lasagna. My only concern is sometimes the aubergine can be on the bitter side, i just have to find better ones. Or use Zucchini/Courgette ?? But thanks!
