    I made this last night! It was so easy and delicious 😋 It was also easy to make ketogenic (low carb) by using fresh cauliflower florets instead of potatoes. I also subbed out the cornstarch with 1/2 t. of keto-friendly xanathum gum powder. The only thing I will do differently the next time I make it (which will be soon!) is use more lemon juice. 🍋

    Looking delicious and lemony. My suggestion in washing green onions or leek is to wash it before chopping, this is to ensure the flavor is not washed away. Make sure to trim off the old leaves. Cook the white part only then add the green part when the cooking is done. Excellent presentation.

    This looks fabulous! Thank you so much for sharing♥ In Scotland, scallions are called "sybies" pronounced "sigh bees" at least that's what they're called on the west coast of Scotland (not syboe as I've seen online.) You can ask for spring onions and stores will know what you mean but Glaswegians like me call them sybies. Thank you again for such a wonderful recipe, looking forward to trying it. Hugs from a lovely sunny, spring Scotland 🥰♥

    They are also call spring onions or wild onions. I had a bunch of wild onions in my yard. They grew alot faster than the grass. A foot in a couple of days. I would pick and eat as much as I wanted. When the grass grew high enough to mow you couldn't smell fresh cut grass! All you could smell is onion. They were so powerful the hole neighborhood smelled of onions......😂🤣😅😆😁🤯

    Is there another name for vermicelli, and I was not able to find what you called sumac at any of my supermarkets.. I spoke to several Greek shoppers when I was at a specialty store...

    • @DimitrasDishes
      @DimitrasDishes  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sumac is not a Greek spice and it can be found in Middle Eastern grocery/specialty food stores. Amazon also has it :) As for the vermicelli, it's known as fide in Greek shops :) Hope this helps!!
