I need this. I have the G920. I love the wheel. I've learned to adapt with the gear drive. But I despise the pedals. I was looking at upgrading to the G-pro pedals.
I upgraded from G923 to a GPro earlier this year, but the pedals weren't available. I bought one of these to use my G923 pedals and even though I only used it for a short while, it worked perfectly and was worth it.
Get the truebrake V2 mod for the pedals 👍

For what it's worth, i did some window shopping for switching to a new ecosystem to get away from thrustmaster (they settle for "good enough" a little too much for my taste), and came up with the costs of an entry level direct drive, mid-high end pedals, wheel and shifter combos, and it's actually less expensive to do with Fanatec than it is to go with Logitech. Both full setup orders are in the $1400s (US), with Fanatec coming in around $300 lower. And with the many upgrades and customization options for the future already in place, the Fanatec ecosystem seems to be the better deal. I'll likely buy a PS wheel base and Xbox wheel, btw, also for future options. I have a PS4 collecting dust that I've never powered on, and it'd nice to have cross compatibility without having to change the setup itself, and Fanatec allows you to do that. Logitech doesn't seem to. It'll still be awhile before i upgrade but for right now it looks like it'll be Fanatec. Then I'll have to sell my Thrustmaster SF1000, TS-XW, and T-LCM pedals knowing that whoever buys them will be as disappointed as i was. I might make it cheap. They have value, just not for Xbox users.
I had exactly the same thoughts and same conclusion.
Logitech Costs £1400 for the full kit which does either Xbox or PS ( both do PC ) Which will require another £1000 for the other console because we can't purchase the wheel or base as stand alone units.
Fanatech for that money buys compatibility for Both consoles and PC. Granted probably lower quality pedals and lower torque wheel
I did think about purchasing the PS Logitech Kit then asking them if I could purchase a new XB steering wheel but I had the thought they would not do that because they are Logitech and there is no logic in their thinking.
But fanatecs shifter is not compatible with console

@nissansilviakouki i have a shifter and use the Xbox series s. It works just fine. I will say this, however. If you switch to sequential mode and want to switch back to h-pattern, at least on Forza Motorsport, you have to restart the game. I've had occasion where i was a little too aggressive with my shifts and it suddenly rocked itself into sequential mode, and the game would no longer acknowledge the h-pattern mode until i restarted. I don't remember if i had to restart the whole console or not, but i know i had to restart something.

I wish this would enable Fanatec pedals to plug into a G Pro wheel base on console. I just do not like the Pro Pedals compared to my heavily modded CSP V2s (shocks, springs, oil, pedal plate, etc). I'd like to take advantage of True Force in GT7... but not have to spend more on a pedal I find to be a downgrade. Maybe somebody will come out with a spoofing hub.
Enjoying your content Mate. Would love a video looking at the advantages/disadvantages of different wheel ecosystems. Will eventually upgrade from a g920 to and don't really know which way to go re a mid to entry level DD system. What company gives the best bang for your buck and later upgradability. (I was enjoying you upgrade path series but it seems to have stopped after the second video). Not sure what the interest would be but I cant be the only one.

Me too I've been on my 920 for a bit now and just skipping to what I need more ffb so I can get it where I want it only gripe I got but got used to is the play from the gears I don't have the issues with it weakening like most I recalibrate it every 8 strait hours of use
On my side, I upgraded my pedal with the Axcsim Truebkrake mod and I love them, I will be upgrading only the wheel.

I actually have my g27 shoved in the corner just to use my g27 shifter with my Moza r9 and HE ultimate pedals. I don’t have the power supply hooked up so no calibration or spinning wheel.
i actually use this, works pretty well considering i’m running a moza r9 with g920 pedals and the logi shifter, just know point in having that big ass knob on the adapter with non load cell pedals

Would this work with a Logitech G25 as well? (Not a joke question - mine is still going strong after many years, but if I upgraded to a different wheel I might want to continue using the shifter for a while.)
the shifter is better than the others IMO. the d pad and buttons add extra functionality. I might just bite the bullet and try to get my g25 set up to work with it
I bought this device with the Pro Wheel. But the new pedals have those awful "deadzones" and "play" in the pedal throw... So I use the new wheel with the old G29 pedals (which I modified).
I'm now seeing if I can modify the new pedals... we shall see

@Shamey Set of 4 x 10K Ohm Potentiometers, aka Variable resistors - 2 for Accelerator and 2 for brake. (Can use smaller values, eg, 2k or 5k for greater precision, but lose some range.)
Ordinarily, your pedals' Potentiometers, input pin (Live) Red to (Ground) Black output pin has a Potential Difference of 3.3Volts.
Add more resistance between input cable (red) and input pin to reduce the deadzone (i.e., how much you have to press the pedal before something happens). Add more between the output pin and ground cable (black) to reduce the effective throw of the pedal (i.e., reduce the play).
The thing to remember is that every time you plug in your steering wheel, the G29 recalibrates itself. So, you have to adjust your pedal calibrations accordingly each session. Once set, the black (throw) tends to be fine; it's the red (deadzone) which has to be done for each pedal each session... But it's simple enough and only takes a few seconds
@Tj930 cheers, very much appreciate. My friend has the pro pedals and there is alot of play in the throttle pedal. It feels like your pressing it for ages b4 ya hit the stop. If you fix a mod for that will you let me know. Thanks.

@sonyx5332 Yes. Well-built piece of kit but not to my taste. By design it has 'pre-load' (deadzone) before the pseudo Load-Cell range.
I am, however, using AXC's replacement potentiometer, along with a Truebrake Spring.

I thoght this was a solution for the wheel to play both on Playstation and Xbox.
But I was wrong.
I find it distubing that Thet don't have a universal one to do that. Or AT LEAST an official adapter for that.

No word on G27 shifter and pedals, thing it might be easier to mod the Logitech pedals to a Thrustmaster, if it uses a RJ45 connection like the Thrustmaster it's just needing to know the pin layout???

Question, I am using the Logitech adapter for my pedals and shifter but my shifter reverse gear does not work with the adapter...It only recognizes 6 gears without the reverse. When I try to input the reverse gear it recognizes it as the sixth gear. Any solution for that?
Did I get this correctly, with this adapter I can only add Logitech shifter to my racing pro setup? Other brand shifters are still unavailable for console?

With the adapter allow you to use the Logitech DD pro for PC wheel on PS5, then by the logitech G pedals? The PC version is so much cheaper than ps wheel.
PS5 console - So I have the whole Logitech G923 and Gear Shifter, but I want to add one more Gear Shifter to it so I can make one of them as a Handbrake.. Would that be possible with this device?

Logitech should have a model with direct drive between the g pro and g923.
Like a g924DD not as strong as the g pro in the same housing as the g923 (and same pedals as the g923).
Just received one of these. It's worth preparing customers for the completely unfathomable design choice of fitting this thing with about a 3 micron long USB cable. It's so short I can hardly even fit the unit right next to my G Pro Wheel, let alone put it somewhere I'd actually like it to be, like next to my console out of the way. It has to stretch so much just to reach the position Will's got his in that I'm worried it'll break, and it's a built-in part that can't be replaced. I'm utterly baffled that the project manager at Logitech signed off on this.
We have the same problem, but you could add a short usb extension cable, but your right, Logitech should have made this a longer.
I've got a G920 with a Truebrake mod on the brake pedal and I've just ordered the Pro wheel and one of these adapters. I really don't have a lot to complain about with the pedals after installing the truebrake mod so hopefully this will buy me some time to upgrade the pedals next year since the wheel itself was kind of a stretch.

What happens for example in GT7 if I set the max torque to 5/10 and on the wheel I set it to say 5 nm? Does this mean the effective max torque would be 2.5 nm?

brook resolution 2 make it compatbile with consoles. Playing Forza Motorsport 7 on my Moza R9 DD with Moza pedals. Also works fine on GT7 on my PS5, but not playing GT7 that much.
So they basically could’ve added all this functionality into the wheelbase without any hardware changes except for adding a couple of legacy ports, but they are selling it separately so if you want to use a new Logitech wheel base (not that one which they are selling for 15 years without any serious upgrades, another one, that is overpriced “system” without system) with new Logitech shifter (which is also 15 years old) you have to buy hardware adaptor which in fact doesn’t adapt anything to anything and exists only to compensate the absence of their own legacy ports which they use up to this day on their other new products? Did I miss anything?
Yeah, you missed the fact that nobody seems to sell this adapter except Logitech themselves even though Amazon has the rest of their crap. And Logitech is out of stock 'temporarily'. Idk how long that means for them, but I'm finding out about this as my pro wheel is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Hoping I get that notification soon I guess
Does not work with Logitech g27 shifter. Reverse doesn't work, and neither do the buttons. reverse works fine through my g27 still. pretty bummed out, gotta buy another shifter now. dont know if i wanna get another logitech or sacrifice my last free usb port.

It’s not that big a deal since there’s no good racing games on console anyways… other than what? GT7 and FH4? I think console in general needs more racing games cause it sucks having to wait years for a new game when pc gets a new racing game like every week lol.

@@hammernz199 yeah I kinda wish that was an option but they said they were working on console compatibility so we know it’s gonna happen, we just don’t know when it’s gonna happen. I think they should just make GT7 for the pc, the only reason it was console exclusive was to compete with Forza but those games are already pc compatible. The only thing they get by keeping it exclusive is nothing really lol no one wins with console exclusive’s especially when the games use hardware beyond that of a controller like racing games or flight ones. Like the button layouts your always limited by whatever inputs console has unlike pc where you can have a hundred buttons all bound to do different things.

I have a frantic system and Fanatec is making it difficult to return the item that I had for only a month and a half. I want to return it Due to it being a defective unit. They are giving me the runaround. It seems after three different people emailed me the same question in our reply with videos showing the unit not working. I have a $3600 paperweight sitting in my room because I bought the Racing rig new TV a new PlayStation to do this . I want to keep my shifter if I go with the logitech pro with their pedals will the racing adapter work with my shifter because I really like the shifter.

Except if you have a G Pro wheel and G Pro pedals it doesn’t work with the shifter. I’ve tried numerous ways of connecting them all and nothing works. Does anyone have a G Pro and G Pedals that can get the adapter to work with the shifter? If so…. How?

Im not familiar with Snowrunner. Does it not detect multiple input devices? That being the case this probably wouldn't help as you can only plug Logitech pedals into the adaptor.
@@boostedmedia it doesn't detect independent inputs. Since I have a g29 base all other inputs need to be from the base only. So my Tlcm pedals don't get detected. Do you think Ican run the tlcm pedals through this to the base?
No it won’t work I’m afraid. The only solution would be to use Logitech G Pro pedals through this, or upgrade your existing Logitech pedals with a load cell, etc.

If I could plug my fanatec shifter and pedals into this and buy the new logitech wheel that would be ideal for me, but nah it doesn't work like that. I need a new wheelbase and want to make the move to Direct Drive (current is TM T500rs) but already have the Fanatec V3 pedals and their shifter already also. I just want it all to work for not only pc, but gt7 on the ps5 too so part of me is like just get a DD pro whenever they are available and then pay the massive shipping costs to ship to an address in australia and then pay again to get it shipped to NZ from aussie...so it's a real pain in the butt when it comes to getting my hands on Fanatec gear whereas the logitech pro wheel is available locally. The console use is what throws the spanner in the works since I would be mixing and matching brands. I've heard there's some kind of module you can but that allows you to mix and match to some degree and it works on console? I heard that people use it to get a bunch of moza gear to work on console but from what I have read it sounds like it really messes with FFB, but do those adapters work ok for say, my pedals and shifter just fine? Apparently the truforce feedback with the logitech pro is especially good in GT7 so definitely wouldn't want to be ruining the ffb in any way by using those adaptors - just genuinely curious if there is a workable solution for what I want to achieve.
Just get a Fanatec DD base and get a Rally wheel that works on any system. I use this on ps5, Xbox and pc with no changes.

@@ricepony33 that still isn’t an option for some people that live in like Australia where everyone sells stuff at a higher price especially second hand. Even here in the states fanatec and other DD bases and accessories usually sell at or above retail, you gotta get lucky or know someone to get a good deal. As for GT7 well… I guess if you like ram festivals and getting taken out for p15 then it’s a great game… but if your getting a DD wheel and setup that means your starting to get serious and GT7 isn’t exactly a serious game compared to any other sim, tho I guess if your stuck on ps5 like I was then you have no other choice. Once I got my pc I never touched my ps5 for sim racing again tho lol now I do mostly AC and iracing I’m also trying to get into lfm on ACC but that takes a while.
@@ricepony33 GT7 is just the oddball title that throws a spanner in the works. I also have a gaming PC with Assetto Corsa, acc, dirt rally 2 and automobilista 2 also.

I'm thinking of getting the new Logitech G Pro wheel with pedals but unfortunately Logitech hasn't related a new shifter that can be plugged in through the back of the wheel.
Is there any other way I can ditch the adapter and just get a port convertor and plug it in directly through the back?
Also is it possible to use a Thrustmaster TH8A shifter using the adapter or with a port convertor?

Not sure. My understanding was the wiring of the pedals at least is the same. But Logitech only list it as compatible with G29/920/923.

Kind of. In that scenario, assuming you’re on PC, you could use Logitech pedals and a shifter with a wheel/base from another manufacturer. But on Console you still can’t mix manufacturers as the adaptor itself only supports Logitech products.

Better than nothing? Sure, but it’s not what people are gonna expect when they buy it I guarantee there’s gonna be tons of returns on this device lol.
