First and foremost nice content video brother. I own both 2021 petrol polo and 2019 diesel variants, and my father owns diesel asta i20 variant. as a user of multiple brand cards I personally feel to state few points for the viewers. if u guys don’t worry about mileage and service cost then go for polo, u will feel the sheer driving pleasure, and moreover u guys have to know that bs6 comes oly with petrol 3 cylinder variants, which produces 110 ps of power,which is good but if maintenance hasn’t properly taken care it gonna be a Bomb, and frankly VW spares are costlier too. On other hand my dad hardly spends 4 to 7 k for each 10000 kms as service cost, and that too after free service am talking about, it will be below 3 k in free service, those one who expect power full engine with solid build and precise handling go for polo, those who needs features, fluidic design, low maintenance and rear seat comfort go for i20…..

Two adults can sit comfortably in the rear seat. I am 5. 11 and I can sit comfortably in rear seats when the driver seat is set to my driving position.
The problem with the i20 and polo rear seat is that when one sits in reclining position, the head hits the roof panel. My height is also 5'11'' and I face this issue with almost every premium hatchback

The support to the lower back is not good in the VW Polo while driving for long duration. Please use a towel or any small pillow to support your lower back while driving the car for a long time. It will definitely help you.
Sir I am confused to choose between new polo 1 litre petrol and elite i20. I had a preference for VW. But since they have brought down the engine capacity to 1litre, I am really confused. Please suggest
The new 1 litre engine has almost the same performance of the old 1.2 litre engine. It has the same problems. The low end torque is very less. While driving in the city, you have to shift down to the first gear if you slow down. It will not pull in the second gear. Similarly you have to plan your overtake in the highway if you are traveling with 5 on board. Other than the media core performance of the Polo, it is better than i20 in every aspects. Both i20 & Polo are good cars. If you don't care too much about performance, you can go for Polo 1.0 litre petrol. Else go with i20.
Sir i have installed vw suggested blaupunkt media system in my polo 1.2 petrol confortline..i wanted to install rear camera .. can you please suggest me about it whether can i go with outside market or shal i ask showroom people to install it ??
1L engine has almost the same performance of the 1.2 L engine. The performance is just adequate for day to day use. But if you are a driving enthusiast you will not be happy with the performance. The 1L engine is more refined and has less noise compared to the 1.2 L engine. Also it gives slightly more mileage.

+Anand Modi Polo Petrol costs from Rs.8000 to Rs. 12000 per service if Maintained & handled properly. Polo has to be serviced once in 15000 km or 1 year whichever comes first... The general maintenance cost of the Polo is slightly higher than that if the i20 elite. But if the Polo is not Maintained or handled properly, repair charges would be high as VW spare parts are expensive. Both of your choices are very good... You will be happy whatever car you buy... At present am having VW polo petrol (used vehicle only 17,000 km driven), am very much satisfied with this vehicle performance build quality only worry about service. now am planning to change it. My work will be regular local customer visits only and sometimes long trip with family. am bit confuse, whether shall i go with polo (or) i20 elite face lift (or) swift dzire. Kindly suggest because company offering me Rs.6.30/km for diesel & R.7.30/Km for petrol. which one is best? wat about long service cost in polo?
I would recommend the Polo Diesel TDI variant for you. As you have already used and like the Polo, the new one would be a very good upgrade. The maintenance cost of the Polo in long run would be definitely higher than that of the Swift or i20. It would cost from 9000 to 13000 per service once in a year or 15000 km whichever comes first. As long as you maintain & handle it properly, this would be the maintenance cost. Repair costs on the long run will be very high if not maintained properly as VW Spare parts are expensive.
The new VW Highline Plus comes with all those missed features except those side airbags, drls, and transmission tunnel issue. But comparing German with Korean is a no brainier. There is zero cost cutting in Polo.
could advise which is better when compared between I20 and Polo petrol variant in fuel efficiency and power. suggest some better premium petrol hatches which is better in the market.

Anti pinch windows are not available in trendline. Except that almost all safety features are available in the Trendline variant.

+Pradeep Sharma Polo will definitely cost more than i20 for maintenance. No doubt in that.
1. i20 will cost 6000 to 8000 per Service and it has to be serviced once in 10000 km or 1 year whichever comes first.
2. Polo will cost 9000 to 12000 per Service and it has the serviced once in 15000 km or 1 year whichever comes first.

If three people sit in rear seat it is very cramped. But, Senior citizens & tall people will find difficulty in entering & exiting the car due to its low roof. Thank you...

Get the Rapid if you want the awesome look... Get the GT TSI if you want a great driving experience... Personally, I would definitely lean towards the GT TSI...

At present am having VW polo petrol (used vehicle only 17,000 km driven), am very much satisfied with this vehicle performance build quality only worry about service. now am planning to change it. My work will be regular local customer visits only and sometimes long trip with family. am bit confuse, whether shall i go with polo (or) i20 elite face lift (or) swift dzire. Kindly suggest because company offering me Rs.6.30/km for diesel & R.7.30/Km for petrol. which one is best? wat about long service cost in polo?
I would recommend the Polo Diesel TDI variant for you. As you have already used and like the Polo, the new one would be a very good upgrade.
The maintenance cost of the Polo in long run would be definitely higher than that of the Swift or i20. It would cost from 9000 to 13000 per service once in a year or 15000 km whichever comes first.
As long as you maintain & handle it properly, this would be the maintenance cost. Repair costs on the long run will be very high if not maintained properly as VW Spare parts are expensive.
The new VW Highline Plus comes with all those missed features except those side airbags, drls, and transmission tunnel issue. But comparing German with Korean is a no brainier. There is zero cost cutting in Polo.

You may get good discounts in December. Even if you take delivery on Jan 1st week, it would be mostly a 2017 model. So, you make take delivery in December last week itself.
