The polo was launched in 2009 in India and the car has got several feature updates and facelift since then.
Polo is currently placed as a premium hatchback in the India automobile industry. The car was initially launched with a smaller diesel engine which was updated with a 1.5 litre unit in the recent facelift.

Nice vedio sir. Polo tdi 90 bhp gives 15-16kmpl in city &20-21kmpl in highways. Very good car with excellent stability & build quality. Handling is awsome.

Mahendra Baviskar the diesel engine was changed after 2014 on polo. Parts may be an issue with the old 2011 engine.

विशेष बात! हम दो चार चीजें सीख कर गाड़ी नही चलाना चाहते।
Washing मशीन भी हम उसका manual पूरा पढ़कर फिर भी देख देख कर चलते हैं।
इसी प्रकार से तो हमें, VW GT TSI, automatic गाड़ी चलाना सिखाइये।

Power wise we know it's the best in class
Does it handles bad roads
Because I know the first 2013 edition of polo suffers severely with the low clearance and soft suspension and resulting in severe damage to underbody
And vw worked on the clearance part .. so how the latest 2017 edition handles indian bad roads.. ?
Joseph Antoine I have topmost which is POLO GT TDI. and now I have to say they have reworked suspension and raised the car as well. They are still on stiffer side but they are better than before. Stating this because my mom had trendline 2013 and I was fedup because it was much low. So thanks vw for that

The Polo would have gone well ahead with its 90 horses whilst Ford Figo gasping for breath until the turbo to kicked in.
What about petrol polo vs i20 ?
We would prefer polo only if it is the TSI petrol, for all other cases it has to be i20
I own a GT tdi as well as i20 asta crdi and have to say if you run on highways then GT TSI/TDI/highline is way to go because it delivers much power then rest of the hatchback out there. If I am not wrong then GT TDI is 1.6L viz 1600cc which is as big as Hyundai Creta! But if you run mostly in city then it has to be i20 magna or asta because these cars are smooth af and steering is also very light and they come features packed then VW's. So performance, rigidity and rough use is not Hyundai's cup of tea. And polo still don't offer keyless entry :-p So these are some key differences. hope you find them helpful :-)

Mind your language :), in automobile terms service cost is calculated per km. Its a simple math. 70 paisa per km equates to 7000 Rs for every 10,000 km service. And for your kind info, we have over 30 cars on our channel and we own neither of them. These are all test cars from respective brands.
If you have a petrol, then the service will cost you around 8-10k. Diesel will make you spend around 15k. But do note that this car does not require you to service once every year, you can do it once for every 15k kms you drive.

Polo the best in ride quality(only issue, rear seat only for kids or short adults)and handling.. Build quality, I will last forever..
