It might be an older video but the fact that Johnny Glock has a wealth of free Knowledge still out amazes me. I Destroyed stock trigger shoe attempting to fix this but know it's so easy thanks to Johnny's help. GOD Bless Johnny Glock.
daym that fixed my tab that was just limp.. yes... l said limp... i think you are too generous in sharing these types of tips but it shows your enthusiasm for what you do and looks like you have a bit of passion in teaching and sharing knowledge. much respect to you for that~
Awesome as always! I was about to buy a new trigger assembly to avoid all that hassle removing that pin, but your tutorial showed how easy it can be fixed. Thank you, Sir, very much for this and other tutorials - you are my Glock guru!
I watch all your videos and have learned how to disassemble, repair and install after market parts with no problems. Although I must admit it was not easy removing the trigger safety. But once I found the right tool, it made it a lot easier. I think you are very knowledgeable with the glock pistol, and if I ever needed a repair to my glock that I was not able to do, you would be the one I would call. In fact, I'm interested in purchasing your drop in trigger kit for self defense carry. Once I decide which glock I want to install the kit, I will give you a call. Again, thank you for all your videos and expertise with the glock pistol, and I look forward to viewing your next video.
i somehow wasnt subscribed and wondered if you were still around because i just discovered some new vids.....im subbed now thanks for all the knowledge you share
Long time gun owner, first time Glock user. I stumbled upon this video and enjoyed your info. Gladly subscribed to learn more about glocks and what they offer as an active shooter.
brilliant!!! you are the man and ive gained so much knowledge from your previous vids.... i was super excited to see you're back at it!!! keep up the good work..... anxiously awaiting your next video
Hey Johnny! Glad to see your back!! You have fixed 3 Glocks for me that were done by so-called experts and was the first guy to do a badasses trigger on a 42, my 42 that still work fantastic. He also built an awesome TimberWolf 19 for me that is my EDC. He does great work! Hope all is well Brother!
Is this the same on all glock triggers with the leaf spring? I though it was just like a regular small spring? I just bought a ranger proof flat face trigger but the safety spring is missing and I was gonna just pop the spring out of my oem trigger shoe.
@@johnnyglocks I actually did and they are sending me a spring in the morning! Amazing customer service! I'm gonna make a video of the install and will definitely have great things to say about them in the video!
Hey Johnny. Is there any website our there were you can buy just the safety tab for the trigger? I wanted to get a back up but don't want to buy the whole trigger assembly. I've searched everywhere but no luck.
Johnny, I just found your channel and am trying to figure out what a part is in my lower parts kit; it looks like a slightly curved flat bar spring and resembles a little bit of the slide lock spring. The unknown part resembles the slide lock spring but is only maybe 1/2 its size. Any clue? The piece came in a lower parts kit. came in
I just popped the trigger safety tab out, it was always chewin up my finger and felt uncomfortable...plus im not a child so i figured between that and the trigger guard i should be alright. Would you be against this or no?
Chris Doering That is a terrible idea. If you drop the gun, inertia could cause the trigger to fall rearward and fire the gun. You've defeated one of the most important safety mechanisms on a Glock safe action pistol. :(
There’s a better way to solve this problem. Leave the trigger safety tab in place and get an x-acto knife to shave off a ***tiny*** amount at a time of the tab that’s sticking up above the trigger face when it is fully depressed. So, unload the gun. Depress the trigger all the way and hold it there. Carefully shave off the part of the safety tab that is high. You could also use sand paper, but it’s difficult to keep from scuffing up the trigger shoe. This will keep you from getting blistered up on your trigger finger when you shoot 200+ rounds in one session.
+JOHNNY GLOCKS the persona been watching your vids for about 2 years ish and bought a glock 41 after seeing what you could do . I must have phoned you 100 times and then a guy Facebook said you where unwell . I did a trigger job on my 41 after watching you and it's good but it's not a johnny glock trigger I live in part of UK that is legal to own pistols ie northern ireland . It's the same with all OEM triggers and I guarantee you if you call up Ranger proof they'll send you a spring they stand behind their products

I did the same thing. Just removed it. My trigger finger would hurt like hell. Now shooting my 29 with full power 10mm loads is pain free.
