I bought virtually the entire set -> D, 3->8 hybrids, 9I,PW, AW. I’m a 15 handicap. I’ve played 3 rounds and spent hours on the range w/them. Played dumb golf, but still beat my HC by 1&2 strokes. They seem to have taken the catastrophic hole out of my game. Even when I make bonehead decisions or miss hit, they’re not as bad. Btw, I love the look, especially the D->8H.
“Looks” are the excuse lots of golfers use in order to play clubs the pros use rather than the ones that they would score best with. Just smile and take their money. I tried the BB21 driver last night and its performance was stunning
You may say it’s ugly and you may hate the idea of it though it is incredibly consistent for you. Probably one of the most consistent I’ve seen you hit!
I have one of these. Bought it purely because when I tested 5 fairway woods at a time, this was the one I hit the best and basically couldn't miss. I'm not a huge fan of the offset at address, but I can swing smooth and easy and the damn thing rockets 260y dead straight 90% of the time. If it works (even if it is not on paper for me) I'll play it.
Hi James, Well I have to disagree with you but like you say beauty is in the eye of the beholder! I love the look and the color scheme! I had a driver years back and I painted it .. Blue and named it the Blue bomber! I would love to try the BBB21 especially the driver where I suffer more from my slice even though I have made a grip change that has improved that! James I have the Big Bertha B21 driver and I love it. I don’t have the woods or hybrid yet but, I’m looking at getting one of them. I do agree with you that this club is not for everyone. I’m 63 have a bad back on a bad leg and do not have a lot of club head speed. Since I got the B 21 most of my drives have gotten farther and last weekend I made my first ever Eagle! Part of that was the driver and part your short game Saturday segments.
i love them!! i want them!! i wish i could afford them. you should also try out the irons. give Foxy a whole bag to play and get his reaction. new clubs are unfortunately out of my price range. i might find used in a few years hopefully at a huge discount.

Ping did this years back aka the Ping K15 SF fairways. Similar low profile design, not nearly the offset, yet ridiculously easy to launch from the deck & avoid the slice. 16 degree 3 wood. Still have mine though have moved on to my Epic Flash. Great club for those needing more spin & higher launch.
Do you like anything from callaway? I personally don't care what the clubs look like if they work. I like my callaway clubs. Rogue driver, xr 3 wood and hybrid, steelhead xr irons, and mack daddy wedges. Couple years old set but they work for me. I haven't tested anything that I could hit better. The Big Bertha looks great to me. I haven't tested them and probably won't since I tend to go fore left, with the occasional slice. So its not the clubs fault but mine. Enjoy the channel keep up the good work.
I tested the B21 driver recently in a fitting and surprisingly It was no different to my Cobra Speedzone in terms of bad shots, although the fitter did say he'd seen great differences for people with slower swing speed, but 105mph+ it made little difference, which was the case for me. The best two for my bad shots ( power fade ) were actually the Callaway Epic Flash ( the Mavrik was terrible ) and the Mizuno ST200. The Epic although gave me 20 yards extra, the bad shot still came in when i wasnt fully committed. The mizuno on the other hand........same shot over and over and over again. Looking forward to it turning up in a few weeks as i lost all condifence in my Speedzone.
I don't know what you are talking about. Ugly? The blue and black and red color scheme is beautiful much better looking than some of those ugly yellow and orange things that people over pay for.
Ping says offset increases launch. They don't specifically claim it makes a club "anti-right". I'm using G2 irons with healthy offset and find no difference in terms of shape or shot-shaping vs my backup set (99 Hogan Apex blades). Thoughts everyone?
James, I hate offset on clubs but it looks pretty good until you address the ball. As for the head cover... it’s awful and tacky, what were you thinking? Do you play golf in a matching shell suit? By the way TOTAL RESPECT for your speed golf video, impressive effort.

I play a 3 hybrid because i hit hybrids better and my 3 is the only club in my bag that I slice sometimes and I 100% believe that this club... wouldn't fix it maybe help some on the occasions i do slice but i just can't see anything a club can do to fix a inconsistency in my swing when i hit my 3
A slicer swing will always override a draw biased/off set driver. Get the swing path and face control sorted first then add the tech afterwards. Nice review robbo as always!
You should try playing a power fade. With the draw bias it should help play a real controlled fade. It may even stop you going 4 left if you set up for the fade.
It's a okay looking club minus the offset. According to TGW.com the specs for the 3 wood are: 3 Wood: 15° Loft | 43" Length | 57° Lie | 170cc | D2 Swing Weight

Priced as a premium club, more expensive than Maverick, but it’s a game improvement club, should be cheaper to make more accessible to majority of golfers.
I agree with you that this could potentially be the best selling Fairway Wood of all time! Always remember James that, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", you think it's ugly but to me, it looks just about exactly what I would want to see from a 3Wood. When a Pro reviews a club that isn't designed for them there is always a danger that they impose their own requirements onto the club rather than viewing it through the eyes of the target market. The fact that the majority of Golfers struggle to hit a 3Wood off the deck and usually hit it low & right, I think that Callaway has just about got this spot on. Incidentally, that was one of the tightest dispersion patterns that I have seen you hit and your dreaded "Fore Left" seemed to be under control?
I got fitted for the B21 3 wood and driver. Haven't hit them yet since I'm also waiting on new irons. I think they look nice. Except the covers which I think are too ugly and flashy for my taste. Easy to change though. I'd have to agree for the price I wish the 3 wood was adjustable.

6/10 shots were 3500 rpm or less. You'll get high spinners off carpet because you're more likely to hit the bottom of the club. The high spin shots are on you, not the club. The grouping was very tight for a 3 wood. The first two shots, although wildly different and obvious mishits, gave good results. Proper club reviews should focus more on results than on esthetics. Esthetics are personal and it's ok to talk about what a club looks like, but it shouldn't take away from the performance of the club.
If it works James, learn to like the way it looks. Golfers are a strange breed, we submerge ourselves into clubs that aren't optimum for us because we think they're ugly.
All these clubs, we need to see them being tested by a range of handicaps say 10 testers between 5 to 28 handicap preferably on real courses, also re the 3 wood most of us are looking to bonk it up the fairway about 200 to 220, when shield tested it he had a big slicer with him who tested the driver b21 but he still sliced it! Also are beginners going to spend big money on these clubs cheers
Just because someone slices it doesn’t mean they’re a beginner. My dads been playing 40 years and still slices it. The plan is to get foxy and mark hitting them 🤘🏼🤘🏼
I don't get the facination with wanting the smallest, sleekest clubs possible and the best sounding club - just play golf with what works for you and don't worry - too many Pros, TH-camrs, magazines etc just trying to tell people that a traditional looking and sounding club is what everyone aspires to, it's an outdated view that keeps getting passed down. Weird!!
Don't listen too them. You are right, offset is ugly. The colours look great, but a massive head with massive offset and a club that sits closed at address, just ugly.
If you don't swing out to in, it is a worthless review of its statements. If you have a good swing and have trouble getting the face a little more closed at impact it will help a little. If you have an out to in swing path these clubs won't do jack for you.
Your endlessly repetitive comments about how ugly the club is took up almost the first 2/3 of the video-what a waste of time. Are you on the payroll of some other clubmaker? While the performance may not be appropriate for a fantastic golfer like you, the usefulness of your videos would go up if you gave some thought about noting the various clubs’ suitability for players of various abilities, particularly those who have trouble with a slice. No, I won’t be subscribing.
