I have a Echo 3020t (high torque model) but the Echo black dimond .105 line is what I use. It works great in thick grass/Brushy stuff. If you're ever in the market for another weedeater I highly recommend the Echo 3020t. It's expensive but it'll last you along time if you maintain it properly and it comes with a 6 year warranty. I chose the Echo after my Sthil 131r kicked the bucket due to a cam gear failure (4 mix system) and I was searching for a weedeater that was close to the power of the Sthil on paper that was a traditional 2 stroke. The 3020t seems like it has double the power/torque of the 131r. It's a beast with the 2:1 gear ratio.
Thats awesome! It's good to spend a little money on good stuff and keep it. For push mowers I like Toro but honestly the ones at Walmart I've had great luck with too. Good if you want to beat on it a bit lol. I hear good things about Honda but I haven't used one enough and I'm not personally going to spend that kinda money on it. Thanks for watching man! Planning on having some more landscaping and similar videos up eventually.
This is great, thank you! I recently tried trimming tall grass at a place I just bought and it just kept winging around the bobbin and shutting down the machine. I’ll try removing the guard. Just wondering what the purpose of dropping it into the grass from above is?
Bought myself some of that yellow line per your suggestion and it worked fantastic. Thanks for the info and techniques!
I have a Hyper Tough 26cc weed eater and it’s worked well for me cutting the tall weeds I have around my house and my grandparents house

Thanks for the video. I liked it! You're a real down to earth guy. Keep it up!

For 27.2cc it's got the power to get the job done

It helps with real thick tall grass. Instead of cutting it all at once to take it in layers kinda. Chops up the grass more so less tangles
@@k30krazy okay, got it, thanks!
