One thing that you failed to mention, the slim being smaller has its benefits. Many people will go with slim just due to the size. I assume in Japan where I live the slim is selling better because bigger is not better here, smaller is better
I've installed an SSD into my PS4 PRO and it loads much more faster the games plus is more cooler, no heat inside and more quieter. I had the Toshiba HDD stock which came with the PS4 PRO. I am proud of the improvement.
It’s simple, if you have a 4K monitor or tv get a pro, if not just get a 1tb slim, they are both fantastic and the graphical difference is not as drastic as you would think

Having to replace my ps3 I think I would go for the pro even though I don´t have a 4k tv because in the future games will demand more and more power so the pro would be up for the job for longer before having to be replaced with a ps5.

Not only does ps4 pro have 4k but it also has better framerates. If you play some games on the ps4 slim, sometimes there are major FPS (framerate) drops. Especially if you play fortnite its much better if you have the pro

Yes I know that the Slim doesn't support 4K, but you'll still get the same experience without it. And also, the PS4 Slim has less defects than the original PS4 and the Pro.
i have the slim, its a great system. its on sale all the time and comes bundled with the best game from 2016. it also draws less power, and runs cooler and quieter than the other ps4 models.

Even though I have a 4k tv I exchanged the pro for the slim again i got 2 pros and all were defective kick me off the wifi every 15 min and so far the slim has not let me down.

I do blind test with somes people and ask them to guess who's the PS4 pro and 65% of the time the answer is wrong so .... Buy the slim .
Ps4 pro just gives you a 4k resolution on almost all television or screens without any problem...thats all the difference i can find
PS4 pro also has a boost mode that overclocks the cpu the gpu and the memory for better performance

It's just upscaling so the difference will always be minimal. Computer graphics are in 2K so they just upscale it which isn't worth paying for.
