How I Beat Phase 1 of Hollow Knights Stupidest Boss (Orbsolute Radiance)

- This is a commentary and explanation on how I beat the first phase of Orbosulte Radiance. A modded boss created by Early Hemisphere. This boss can only spawn orbs, but to make it worst. I combined it with Any Radiances Orb Barrage speed to make a truly terrible boss.
This is the first video I've made in this style, so I hope you enjoy! I'm testing things out for when I start editing the really big 2.0 documentary. For now, enjoy some memes.

@just an average buzzsaw who is kawaii for fun most likely yes. It's 90% impossible but a TAS could do it.
@@the33rdguy would it be possible to dps race the boss with good luck and baldur shell just to get past plats?
@DeadClover no. Simply put because none of the dodges link up. The orb barrage is a long attack and your s won't even make it through 1 barrage before getting hit.
Orbsolute Radiance is such a funny name to me.

Yaaaaa it was incredibly hard! So rng with the fact 14 waves is undodgable.
Being the same as the regular Any Radiance Sword Rain Phase, we make it out with ease. Absolute mad lad just called anyradiance free.
Broooo the 2.0 sword rain is a monster compared to the 1.0 SR. I could probs to the Any Rad 1.0 SR blind folded with how easy it is ngl.
... I like the part where Absolute Radiance said "It's orbing time" and orbed all over the screen.

I mean, TAS would have a lot less trouble, because they could probably do some weird rng manip and always have 10 waves and have radiance always over spikes and radiance always spawn on a side, etc etc

Absolute Radiance but it REALLY likes to use orb barrage. I mean it REALLY likes to use it, like, it has a SEVERE ADDICTION to orb barrage,

This gave me the diabolical idea of the Witch of the lake in Salt and Sanctuary but she does the machine gun attack all around her

I’m not too sure about this but I think dash master might be useful here. It’ll reduce rng in first phase cause if you get a bad wave number 7 can dash up and then d-dark or sharp shadow. And judging by the circles that u put in the explanation on the second phase it might be possible to dash up from where the orbs spawn. Also is there a way to telegraph attacks? Since you might be able to charge up a c-dash on a platform which could reset the orbs. I doubt any of this would work but it’s worth a shot.

@@the33rdguy Ight cool. I might find a video of some guy in god mode showcasing the boss in all of its phases to see if telegraphing will work.
It is possible to telegraph his attacks. In radiance fight he flaps his wings higher then usual when he’s going to attack. But his only attack here is ORB. So whenever u see his wings flap try to charge a c-dash. You can also just fall into the void and try to out dps rad before the void dmg kill’s you.

I would suggest using dashmaster and spell twister. Dashmaster allows for you to dash downwards, which may be helpful, and spell twister uses less soul to cast spells, which is helpful if you do not have enough soul to cast descending dark.
I tried dash master but it didn't prove useful. But little hint for a future video. We did find something even Dumber ;)

Dashmaster doesn't increase the distance, it reduces dash cooldown and gives you a downwards dash

These have both been here since Abs rad was a thing. We just never did them.
