- Calling all players in the Hollow Knight community. I am offering a bounty to those of you willing to take up the challenge of defeating Any Radiance 3.0. The last impossible boss.
Since I am far to busy with the Any Radiance 2.0 documentary to take 3.0 seriously right now. I want to put up the biggest bounty the Hollow Knight community has seen to this date. If you wanna get your hands on some cash then follow the rules and join the discord.

DISCLAIMER! something i didnt know about came up recently. Apparently god seeker plus mod decreases 3.0s health from 2k to 1280. So it wont be legal to use. I apologize i was not made aware of that until now. The first phase should have 2k health.

Anyways, I think it's important to note that by using the any rad 3.0 mod in combination with the any rad 1.0 mod, 3.0 will have 4000 HP on phase 1 and not 2000 HP. Also, godseekerplus will lower 3.0's health to 1280 if enabled, so it probably shouldn't be made legal to use.
I love what you're doing with the bounty, 33rdguy, and I wish the best to everyone who plans on winning it. I personally don't plan on getting it so if I develop any strats that can help, I'll make sure to make them public

Here's a vote against any exploit that skips an entire phase. You're hyping it up as this final showdown between the community and an impossible boss, do you really want that conclusion to be "i flew off the side of the map and then used 3.0 as a punching bag lol"
Thats true! I am fine with the plat glitch since its still super interesting and is so rare. But ya the BV cheese was a but much for me but I still wanted to ask!
@@the33rdguy tbh if i was in charge i wouldn't even allow small exploits like pausing to avoid swords. the grand finally should leave everyone who watched it amazed and impressed, not confused, searching up explanations. just my 2 cents, coming from someone with no plans to attempt it myself
@Samonella I understand! Completely! Which is why I'm doing my best to limit them. I just want something out there that will at least make things possible. So I understand where you're coming from. The mod creator says all glitches are legal so I think limiting them is what's best.

I agree, the cheese for the P5 should be fine, but as for the hall of gods clear i think not. The plats faze with a whole (possibly hitless?) P5 are devastating enough I think.

I like the idea of allowing BV cheese for pant 5 and not for hall of gods like you said, so kinda wish that was an option in the poll. But if it's one or the other, better without imo mostly because someone will eventually beat this so no need to rush xD
The BV dash is legit for P5. If you say no it wont be allowed for HoG but yes for p5,

I will be very hyped for the first clear, even using the BV cheese. I think runners should use it until we get a confirmed first clear.
However, for a BOUNTY I think the BV cheese should not be allowed. 90% CM is fine as it’s innately provided within the game, however the boss was explicitly designed with a crazy hard moveset and to bypass that completely I feel is not in the spirit of the boss fight. I think the bounty for the boss consider the spirit of the boss fight.

We don't need Any Radiance 4.0, once Silksong releases, it'll have it's own final boss, just put Any in front of it, and make it impossible! Then, enjoy the suffering!

This is the one time i want silksong to come out late
I think the 1st phase glitch where u cdash off the map should only be allowed in the pantheon 5 run, this is a challenge that will take ages to beat since you have to spend a LOT of time on each attempt and it will really suck to lose most of these attempts on bad 1st phase rng when the 2nd phase is the most difficult one.

In my opinion, I'll allow the glitch in every case. Nothing is stopping the players to do the fight without it, anyway...
As a person who plays hollow knight on a nintendo switch, I can confirm that accessibility is indeed a skill issue.

Now i would join this as i am not bad at the game( 112% with p5 easily beaten multiple times as well as beaten radiant abs rad a few times and normally without charms) but i play on the switch so it should be impossible to download anything onto it as far as i know😢

So if its allowed more peoples can contribute to testing P2

For me, I would say that the BV cheese should be fine in either case. It would be more impressive without it, but a win's a win, fair and square.
I'd agree with u that if a clear in HOG had the BV it would be the world's first. But for the bounty to make it more interesting it seems people don't want it.

Out of curiosity, where did you hear that there will be no 4.0? I'm not super familiar with the any radiance community, so I wouldn't know where to look for the creator's statement on the matter.

What's a "BV Dash"?)
It stands for beyond void dash. You crystal dash off the side of the platform beyond the void so it doesn't damage you and you instead get teleported back after going low enough without losing healt

Question what would happen if someone solved plats in p5 with lifeblood but the damage taken Would not have killed if the lifeblood was not in place (eg they had lifeblood but if they didn’t it would have still been a clear)

I think it should be allowed for the Plat run, but unallowed for the full hall of hods run, making the 1000$ all the more worth
For the plat run you can be invincible up to plats. You dont gotta even beat the boss just plats.

I don't think BV cheese should be allowed, because then it just turns a plats clear into a full clear. The first stage being dang near impossible before you even get to plats is I think an important part of the fight.

The climb phase and last phase isn’t easy just so you know. There’s also no cheese found for those two phases
@@pnoodl3s775 Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't they like the first phases to get beat. Certainly they'd be impossible for me, but they aren't on the level of plats or from what I've seen, phase 1
I have some questions about specifics of the rules like how you said glitches are aloud does that mean I can use a merged save file or the invincibility bug (the invincibility bug is almost certainly not aloud) ik it might seem stupid asking if I can just not fight the boss but I want to know the extent of glitches
Sadly ya that's not allowed. Basically the glitches extend to only ones that can be created in fight. So no outside manipulation that changes the fight is allowed. I'd be interested to see that tho! Cause that does sound cool.

If the pause SW becomes uninteresting I may consider putting that up for poll. But I think it's fine and so do modders.

Could someone explain to me how exactly does everyone beating any radiance (or any other version of it) hit it faster than you normally can, while being in the air at all times? I don't know if I explained it correctly, but I think that fireborn once mentioned in his video that it is possible to cancel attack animation, and hit faster than you normally can. How i that done?
Just by turning around it cancels the animation before it's finished letting you do another attack slightly earlier

Did someone beat absolute radiance 3.0 without pausing the game or use any kind of glitch allowed for the challenge. Just you, your set of charms and the boss, just like vanilla

You wouldn't have to be completely hitless in P5. Even a 5 hit or so would give you a massive advantage compared to a HOG clear.
Exactly I just say r5 cause I think an r5 clear would be amazing. But just p5 is good. Realistically you'd practice a p5 clear in hog with a certian amount of life blood.
BV cheese completely gets rid of the challenge in phase 1, that's why I think it is not legit.

Phase 2 was beaten and p5 eas beaten. But it wasn't beaten in HOG
