It also took me two days to beat Hornet one on my first playthrough. I struggled, I raged, I had never played a metroidvania or a soulslike before, I sucked, I died, I tried again, I sucked, I died again, rince and repeat until I won a day later. BUT THEN, I later got to the Kingdom's Edge for round two baby and BOY OH BOY DO YOU KNOW THAT I got bullied for another 30 hours because I didn't have like half the upgrades I was meant to have gotten before challenging her. 10/10 game, no notes, silksong when?

i would laugh at that guy but i had like 18hrs on my save file when i finally beat hornet. altho most of it was spent getting lost bc i didn't know where anything was and i was scared to spoil the game for myself by looking it up... 😣

I personally think that it is more efficient to try the fight until you beat it than the black hole stuff

I am at mantis village right now and after reading the title thought that hornet comes back so many times that the fights amounts to 22hrs😂

I feel like the 22h was just an overstatement and he just ment it took him longer than he would like

as someone who played on my brothers pc 5 and he does not have pc plus anymore so I cant play hollow knight until I get on pc and lost 100 hours+ I can confirm SHAAAAAWE! I have to beat P5 again 😭

Ngl i agree with the reviewer in that having to traverse the same part of the map every time you want to get back to a boss is never rewarding, it's just frustrating.
