when i first started playing hollow knight, i was actually terrible. LIKE SO BAD. i would try to use every charm in the book to carry me through boss fights rather than actually learn to play. that being said i can confidently say i never equipped heavy blow once. at all. ever. (also i promise i’m better at the game now)
THAT charm being voted as worst charm makes this tier list an instant 10/10. Could not agree more. Sometimes I see people on reddit defending it and trying to weave a story about how good it can be... and my brain just does not compute how they believe their own words XD. 100% agree 0 notches is still too expensive on this thing.
i love weaver song and its synergy with grubsong. that 4-notch combo is pretty strong for most bosses that are stationary/grounded and don’t fly too much EDIT: i said 4 instead of 3, my bad

What’s funny is that I’ve equipped every charm at least once except for heavy blow. I bought for the percent and then just never used it because it sounded stupid.
It synergizes with Nailmaster's Glory. You don't always want your enemies up close with nail arts, you want them at a dashslashable distance. Great slash em then dash slash em, or if you want quick heavy damage use cyclone.
nope. steady body is a MUST USE for any nail build its so perfect it makes you not run into ppl and makes bullying easy bosses EZ also makes spam hitting bosses so easy but NICE VIDEO SUPER UNDERRATED!!!

I use heavy blow on my nail art builds, which apparently makes me better than all of you at every challenge I've beaten with heavy blow.

Grubberfly's Elegy carried me through the delicate flower side quest.
