Sold my black 95 two years ago. I have not been right since. Lol! This past weekend I bought another 94 gt 5speed. Completely stock and minty. Winter is here in Michigan so time for some bolt-ons! Love the channel man!
Nothing like an sn95 when done right! Check out my brothers trick flow top end kit and vortech supercharged 95 gt on my channel, I have several videos of it doing some pulls
Hell yeah nice to see a bunch of sn95 enthusiasts on the channel here. Good overall sn95 content too. I bought my 98' in 2014 for $1800 clean title in running condition. It goes to show that the market has definitely increased in price and popularity.
Just bought a V6 95’ for $500!!! First project car and I’m super excited. Motor runs great no problem but the automatic transmission only wants to shift in and out of park, not into any other gears. Besides that it needs minor body work and a paint job. Can’t wait to get started on it. Love these cars!
you never mentioned the Cobra SVT... I own a convertible in black, nothing on this car is cheap to replace, I just spent 300$ for a new diff cover with a girdle. I picked up this car last July after the previous owner stored it in my building for the past 4 years. What I considered was a 5.0 Gt when I bought the car, turned out to be rarer than what I thought.
Great video and love the appreciation for the sn95s too. I got my 94 cobra with 72k miles for $1200. Kid hit a tree with it and parked it. A new fender and some frame straightening, all is good. It now has a MM max grip box. Hoping to take to a track day soon.
Just discovered your channel. I bought a ‘94 5.0 gt convertable, less than a year ago, and it needs work. Finding your channel is a Godsend. With your enthusiasm and expertise. So now It’s project time.
I got my 95 5.0 for free, love that car have since I first seen one in 94 blew my mind! I knew then i had to have a Black 5.0 20 some years later there she is.
One of the most underated chassis outhere. Sadly they have been jumping in price, specially the rare models, cobra, R, Saleen. I own a 96 cobra, been building it for time attack. Gen 1 coyote, tko 500, 99-04 IRS. Got the full MM catalog, should be a beast once finished.
You're sure right about these cars starting to become a dying breed. I plan on building another one, but cant find a decent fixer upper for under 3k unless it's a V6, which I wouldn't have to much of a problem with if I needed to do a 5.0 swap. Great vid bro! SN95 love all day
My 94 was a v6 for the first 12 years of its life. It was a great car to grow up with because even the wimpy 145HP was plenty for a learning driver to get in trouble with. After a decade of ownership, in 2008, I swapped in the 5.0, and it’s been like that ever since. I know a lot of people love to do a coyote swap, but I’m waiting for EV technology to become more affordable, maybe a Mach E swap. Would definitely beat the 10mpg it’s been getting.
Spot on. Im from indiana can find an sn95 all day for 5 grand hard to find one any cheaper. Just got lucky when I found mine for 2200. Parts are cheap 70 bucks for a cold air intake and 70 bucks for a s&r short throw shifter. Im doing the same as you did street/strip car. Parts don’t cost much depending on how you want to go. I have a 83 z28 and a 89 rs and as far as project cars come my sn95 is my favorite out of the 3. I kno if I don’t find a buyer for my 98 sn95 then I may just turn it into a toy do something fun the family and I can enjoy. But man onyx is looking clean. Can’t wait to see what you do to him next.
Picked up a 97gt5spd for 5800 with 160k in pa, roll up windows, hydro boost brakes factory. Stupid rare options on this car. It’s my sons. He’s 16 . He spent all summer working and bought bbk Longtubes, x pipe , and spin tech side exhaust. What an ordeal dropping the k member and getting that passenger header on. Next step 78mm throttle body, 14 inch brake kit, tires, tune. Body , interior is mint. Hence why I paid extra for a survivor not a beater
Great vid, and too it is nice to see videos on the SN95 I brought my '98 Rio Red vert, 4+1 in 2019 for $5500, 126K always garaged nice paint/interior, new tires and American Racing rims. I've added a cold air induction, Hurst short throw shifter, shocks/struts, and plan to lower it via SVE coil overs, X-pipe, Original 40s and Flowmaster cat-back. I like watching your vids it gives me good ideas on where I want to take my SN95- thanks!
Hay bro I have a 95 that was born with the v6 I have gutted the car it was in bad shape when I started it now has a carburetor 302 with a junk auto I’m working on doing a t5 swap collecting parts love your ride bro
I'm really happy I found your channel because later on today I'm going to pick up my new baby!!! a 70,000 original mile, one owner, 95 5.0 5-speed it's Crystal white with the all black cloth interior I can't wait to get her home and get started on making her a real head turner so with that being said I just subscribed! and please keep the videos coming! 😂🤟
I absolutely couldn't agree more with you man, the sn95s are the most versatile cars ever made I love the 195s too but 95s rock my friend great honest content keep it up.👍👍
I never liked the sn95 look. But ever since I got my 98 that has a saleen body kit they’ve grown on me. I get more looks in my 98 than I do in my s197.
I bought my s95 last Friday she is my dream car named her white lightning what's funny is I already have plans to make my mustang faster and more fun even though I can't stop smiling while driving her and some exterior mods aswell so what's actually funny is after the fact TH-cam suggested this video 3 days after I bought my dream car my car is mint she is my Dailey driver thank you for the video my mustang is a 96 3.8 perfect spec to build on man she sounds amazing
Just discovered your channel! Nice video man, completely agree with all you said about these cars...highly underrated but imo the best looking body style besides the classics of course. And as owner of a 94 GT and 96 Cobra that utilizes both power plants nothing beats the simplicity and cost of the 5.0 cars. Considerably cheaper on all things compared to my 4v, but I absolutely love that thing too. But I suppose thats why I own both lol
I just got a 94 cobra, severely neglected with some minimal body damage. It runs, no rust, all original parts, full restoration in the works. There cars are ‘pre-classic’ and will only skyrocket in price and popularity over the next 20 years. The 94/95 mainly due to the 5.0. Great video please add more. I need help restoring. Following closely.
Those black rims complete it. I am buying a 95 GT 5.0 CONVERTIBLE MANUAL next week for 800.00. It's been sitting since Dec 2020. Was stopped being driven due to the 1st owner not able to drive anymore due to health. Was wondering what I should look for. Red with black top.
I bought my 95 GT convertable in 98 with 30k on it. It's been sitting in my driveway since 2002 when I parked it. Paints faded no rust or dents. Runs perfect, has a tko600 trans, 331 gear. Had a 411 but it was way to tall. I've got a 350 Windsor eng I pulled out af an F250 just waiting for me to build a 408 and drip on turbos. Hope to get to it soon. Seems I always have a car project going on and this one gets no love. Maybe this summer I'll slap some new paint on and build the car I've always wanted.
Couldn't agree more! Not only is initial entry into these cars fairly cheap, parts are everywhere, even for the 4.6L cars like the one I started with, which depending on your taste, can easily be swapped with an older OR newer 5.0L like I did. Insanely easy to lower these cars, put them on nice wheels, and get plenty of compliments already. Can even turn them into show stoppers with the right mods. You can go very far with these cars if you want, even IRS swaps if you're a performance geek.
I picked up a 2000 GT with a 4v swap from a 98 Mark 8 for 3k. Only issue is trying to get the egr system put back in and having troubles getting info about that online in regards to vacuum lines and getting an egr tube :(
Enjoy driving my 95 GTS in black. Full Eibach suspension/lowering kit, American Muscle wheels, K&N CAI. All original interior (everything works). Very fun car to drive and it simply loves the curvy roads. I try to drive it straight but it says NO.
Have a 93 Firebird Formula my toy shes fun an just bought the wife a 94 mustang v6 5 spd mint convertable ...once the motor goes if it does , i have a sweet Cobra to put in er ...
I bought a 1994 gt convertible for 2500 came with a set of stock wheels and some deep dish bullit wheels and just got another 94 gt coupe for 1400 just needed a diff and some body work
A 1995 GT with 200K miles is being sold down the street from me for $3500. Body, engine, and interior look to be in great shape. The owner said nothing has been upgraded or replaced except for normal maintenance. If I buy it, what should I expect to put in soon or replace with a high mile car like this?
Looks at cha with the big head with Onyx 😂🤣 nah man it is a beautiful car and you should feel good about it, i wouldn't mind having a 95 or 96 sn95 just because it was the last years with the original 5.0 and not really into the 4.6 modular. So once I get through with the pinto project I may get one because the foxes are stupid expensive right now and I have always wanted a 95. What kinds of goodies do you have,? 31 spline axles and subframe connectors 😁
Just picked one up on Saturday 144000km has a bunch of stuff done to it already no rust but it needs paint bad, love the color of that truck beside ur stang what is paint code he used to paint the truck 😀
I have a 94 gt just have been keeping it running for as long as i've had it, the transmission slips sometimes so i sent it to get a small repair and after a few weeks it's doing it again, maybe you have a good used transmission you can send out to me? I'll send you mine back
Sold my first car ever (94 Redfire 5.0) 120k miles stick shift 100’percent stock flawless tan interior for 1700 to be able to buy the 350z I have now. I cry at night sometimes
I personally think the 94-95 gt and 94-04 v6 cars are VERY under rated project cars. Swap out the v6 with a 302/351 and it’s on for WAY less the a fox body
@@lollis_garage3683 Are you serious, I had no idea. Mine is in my garage in Miami just taking a long bit of a nap for the last 5 or ten years. Not selling her anything.
What would y’all think of buying 200k mile 98 sn95 GT, exterior and interior are in rough shape but the engine still got life in it, seller wants 1800 for it, need a bucket car so I can slow down using my s550, maybe it’ll be a project car, highly unlikely tho due to the miles
Come on now any car can be a project no matter how many miles! I don’t even look at miles when buying a project car, but if it’s that rough on the inside and out I’d try to talk him down from 1800.
I've been wanting to get a project car for so long. And since December I've set my eyes on getting a SN95 V8 manual. Finding one in Europe for under 15k is hard man. I found one that someone slightly modded and has a soft top for 5k but I kinda want a hard top 🤔
@@dohboipanchhh1293 gay because I enjoy my first sports car, you sir, are mentally challenged and you shouldn't be allowed in the car community because you are what we call "toxic" get a life.
Hey doing a carb on my sn95. Wondering what throttle cable you use. Can't find a solution anywhere on the forums. Some people say the cables were discontinued.😐
What are some good engine mods I can get for my 94 gt? I have been trying to get the trick flow top end kit but those things have been sold out everywhere since I got the car almost 2 years ago. I have been dying to do some upgrades but these shortages are killing me
You pretty much doing what I would do, a top end kit is the best combo to add some really good power to the 302s but unfortunately the shortages are terrible right now
97 gt are great too man the npi has alot of potential. Ported pi heads and intake and aftermarket cams you're over 300 rwhp easily. Pi head-on npi block raises comp ratio a full point to like 10.5:1 compression. You can get all that for like 1500 bucks probably less. The 96 up mod motor cars are also the cheapest and easiest cars to coyote swap if you wanted to go that route. Nothing at all wrong with a 97 bro. I had a 97 cobra.
I bought a red 97 gt and I know it's not a 5.0, but everytime I take it down the hwy and run it to 145mph, or do a slick 180 powerbrake I always get home and kiss the steering wheel, rub the dash and once I'm out and lock it up. I smack its ass and say thanks. Edit: keep in mind 4.6 is a modular, p.i. heads from a 99's and up add 40+ HP
Yea ported pi heads and intake and aftermarket cams you're over 300 wheel with like 10.5:1 compression. Be hard pressed to get that kind of power out of an old 5.0 for similar money. Trickflow heads cam intake on both the 4.6 makes just as much power and torque. Don't be ashamed of a 4.6.
@@smgs921 you'd be hard-pressed to see 400 wheel for 2 grand total including everything needed for the swap. People exaggerate how cheaply it can be done they just talk about how much they would have in the engine itself and don't factor anything else in. If you're just talking the engine itself a coyote can be had for like 2 grand. Don't ls swap it man if you want ls get a gm idk why people have this ls in mustang fetish. Aren't there any gm cars you like? Lol
Which ls are you talking about? Be hard to see 400 wheel from a 5.3 without heads cam intake. You might be able to see it with an aggressive cam that is a bit optimistic if a 5.3 is what you're talking about. Do a 351 Windsor. Much more straight forward swap in a 302 car with less stuff needed. They make comparable power to a much more modern 5.3 with the same mods but make more torque and retain the badass Ford sound which is better than a gm or anything else imo. Richard holdner did a video on this subject where he equally modded a 351 and a 5.3 ls power with similar with the same mods but the 351 had more torque. They're plenty capable.
@@midnight347 coyotes are much bigger and harder to swap not near the same availability of parts or knowledge. Get an engine for cheap a bellhousing adapter a carb kit and some nitrous

I overpaid for a 97 I just picked up. Literally deathtrap.. but I love it idk why
got ours for $1500 2 months ago 98 5 speed with no issues but a coolant leak that was fixed with a new radiator and 130,000 miles

Just bought a 98 sn95 been pretty fun to work on and drive and it's was extremely cheap to get into
I just got one so many problems with it but ig i got a long road ahead
Very nice mustang, what seats are in the car?
I’m from Texas I got it an sn95 for like 1,200, runs good just need some tlc and fixing but it runs like a beast
I’m purchasing an 1995 gt 5.0 and I’m curious what power I can push and what I need or should I put… anyone got suggestions…
good points my 94 made for road racing
I have a 94 gt just have been keeping it running for as long as i've had it, the transmission slips sometimes so i sent it to get a small repair and after a few weeks it's doing it again, maybe you have a good used transmission you can send out to me? I'll send you mine back
Wazee’s pulley for aftermarket power steering pump pulley. Works great and looks awesome. What hood is that?
Sweet I haven’t heard about those I’ll be sure to check them out!
I got a clean 98 gt with 88,000 miles it with a nice sunroof for 5500 in 2014
Sold my first car ever (94 Redfire 5.0) 120k miles stick shift 100’percent stock flawless tan interior for 1700 to be able to buy the 350z I have now. I cry at night sometimes
I personally think the 94-95 gt and 94-04 v6 cars are VERY under rated project cars. Swap out the v6 with a 302/351 and it’s on for WAY less the a fox body
I completely agree the foxbody cars are sky rocketing in price right now!
@@lollis_garage3683 Are you serious, I had no idea. Mine is in my garage in Miami just taking a long bit of a nap for the last 5 or ten years. Not selling her anything.
351 hauls in those things
What would y’all think of buying 200k mile 98 sn95 GT, exterior and interior are in rough shape but the engine still got life in it, seller wants 1800 for it, need a bucket car so I can slow down using my s550, maybe it’ll be a project car, highly unlikely tho due to the miles
Come on now any car can be a project no matter how many miles! I don’t even look at miles when buying a project car, but if it’s that rough on the inside and out I’d try to talk him down from 1800.
@@lollis_garage3683 How is the parts market on these? I heard some parts are getting a bit scarce..
@@User-q6x3b not really the aftermarket for these are so vast you can get most anything you need
@@lollis_garage3683 good to know. Thanks
I've been wanting to get a project car for so long. And since December I've set my eyes on getting a SN95 V8 manual. Finding one in Europe for under 15k is hard man.
I found one that someone slightly modded and has a soft top for 5k but I kinda want a hard top 🤔
Love the sn95.
What size are them rims and what brand ??
Is it worth getting a v6
Yes jst bought the 3.8 1995
Your power steering go out soon after this?
I just bought a 1996 ford mustang v6 sleeper 5 speed
What percent tint do you use bro?
What about a v6 for a project
Awsome stuff, i have a 98
I got my 97 a couple months ago and I absolutely love her, it's a v6 but still a very fun car, it's a blast to drive
gayy

Any idea where i can get some new spindles for the front end of a 1994 GT? Cant find anything.
Go on car-part.com it’s a national locator for junkyard parts see what you can find there. That’s about the best advice I can give.
cant wait to get one. been on my
mind for weeks now.
Love my 98 GT!
Hey doing a carb on my sn95. Wondering what throttle cable you use. Can't find a solution anywhere on the forums. Some people say the cables were discontinued.😐
I used a mr gasket universal throttle cable.
@@lollis_garage3683 Thanks alot. I was worried about that part of the swap. Did it need any modifications to fit the pedal or did it fit perfectly?
@@michaeltorres492 it has the correct adapters to fit the pedal. So you should be good
@@lollis_garage3683 appreciate the help. Nice Mustang you have man!
where did you get the hood? looks sick
I got it from LMR.com
Can't argue with anything presented. Luv the 5.0 SN95. The non-PI 4.6 just isn't worth it when you can mod the 5.0 for dirt cheap.
You know I love SN95s. I am more of a road racer/autoXer and the SN95 is great for that too.
What are some good engine mods I can get for my 94 gt? I have been trying to get the trick flow top end kit but those things have been sold out everywhere since I got the car almost 2 years ago. I have been dying to do some upgrades but these shortages are killing me
You pretty much doing what I would do, a top end kit is the best combo to add some really good power to the 302s but unfortunately the shortages are terrible right now
I can’t find your spoiler anywhere. I need it!!!
Look on Facebook LSBcustoms or LSBcustoms.com
That was shady side drag way where are you from
How much is it lowered and whats the wheel and tire size?
2 inches and 275 rear and 235 front can go bigger on either one though
@@lollis_garage3683 2 inch front and rear?
@@soldierpaige2554 yes
I still want a 94/95 and i love my 97gt.
Yeah man of coarse I love all the SN cars for sure! You about ready to spray!! 💪🏼💪🏼
Check out my brothers supercharged 95 gt on my channel, I have a few videos
97 gt are great too man the npi has alot of potential. Ported pi heads and intake and aftermarket cams you're over 300 rwhp easily. Pi head-on npi block raises comp ratio a full point to like 10.5:1 compression. You can get all that for like 1500 bucks probably less. The 96 up mod motor cars are also the cheapest and easiest cars to coyote swap if you wanted to go that route. Nothing at all wrong with a 97 bro. I had a 97 cobra.
Where did u buy the rims from?
LMR.com
My dream car ❤❤❤❤❤and I got a 03 mustang and I’m going to buy my girlfriend a 94 mustang ❤❤
I'm wanting a 96 purple GT
Not a bad choice at all!
Can one still get a oen fuse box or is that at a u pull It?
More than likely a junk yard part
@@lollis_garage3683 there's nothing like a universal fuse box right ?
@@ThePery123 I mean you can build your own fuse box and make your on wires I did that for my carb setup and got a fuse box off Amazon
@@lollis_garage3683 sounds a little complicated?
I have a sn95 3.8
Chrome hood?
What seats are those
I got my sn95 for 2500, its pretty nice too😊
Definitely want one for a LS swap build
A lot of people LS swap them it’s hard to beat the LS power plant
@@lollis_garage3683 the power for dollar is really hard to argue. a n/a 400whp build for a couple thousand and really easy to work on.
