This has been my home for 30 years. Great schools, perfect weather, good churches, nice people, super walkable city. The local traffic is becoming increasingly difficult along with the homeless/mentally ill/drug addicts. That said, I can't imagine living anywhere else.
Some weird comments lol! Just moved into Los Feliz and absolutely love Southern California, wonderful going on a TH-cam tour of another community, Santa Monica is very unrealistic for most! What a cool little spot! LA is such a vast and desirable area!
I have lived in Santa Monica Almost ALL OF MY LIFE - I WILL ALWAYS LIVE HERE BECAUSE I OWN A HOUSE IN SANTA MONICA THAT IS COMPLETELY PAID FOR AND WE HAVE LOW TAXES THANKS TO PROP 13 So if you keep complaining get the hell out and go live in the San Fernando Valley !!!!!!!!!!
A lot snobby people that lives in Santa Monica. We live in Qatar but spend the summers in LA, and let me tell you about how snobby the residents in Santa Monica are lol.
lol like you people from Qatar aren't with all your oil money, then you get mad because we don't kiss your feet and people here don't give af about your wealth, we all have $. Chances are you didn't meet any real SM locals anyway, just a bunch of tourists and transplants like yourself.
my sister lives there and ive been looking for an apartment forever is it best to get an airbnb and then just hit the ground once im actually there to look around? the only month to month unit i found was the breeze at $2500 a month. Let me know if you have advice
Moving to Santa Monica from Scottsdale AZ in 2 weeks and very excited and looking forward to it! Thanks for the great video! 👍🏽

Great job. I found your review to be balanced.
Thanks Ben
I used to work in in Santa Monica. There's nothing like the pier, 3rd Street promenade and the Beach at Sundown😍
Paying your rent is optional in SM. The city will prevent your eviction! Its incredible! Love it!
?
I wish this were true.
@@MissUnderstood_Mommy sisters neighbor had not paid rent in three years 😂😂

Time to leave South Africa
So Cal is hard to beat!
Make sure to bring lots of $$$$!
Watch out for homeless people's violence and thefts in Santa Monica. Not a cool place anymore
Don't even know Santa Monica and want to talk about it ...
Wouldn’t live there for free.

Yes thats a good idea. Airbnb to give you time to find the right place. Or stay with your sister?
