I came here after watching No Good Deed on Netflix, which is set in Los Feliz. The vibe of the video is very in tune with the show. I really like the area even though I'll never be able to live there.

Love that area. Used to live there with an ex girlfriend. My accountant was there too. In fact, Leo De Caprio grew up in Los Feliz. Down the street from my accountant. On Ambrose street. He grew up in a very modest one story house. Christmas lights were up all year round!

In the Los Angeles area, Los Feliz is probably my favourite neighbourhood. Close to Griffith Park and you get city views from your home. I also love the suburban neighbourhoods like Pasadena

@@Tony.Mariotti I watched 17 again in 2009 and loved the location of that house, which was in Loz Feliz hills and right behind the house is the trail to Griffith observatory. So walking up there, I saw the house and liked the area. But I also like Pasadena. Lot of filming in that area also. I particularly like the house from space jam. Jordans house. Which was also used for about 3 other movies

When you live there you have to deal with traffic on Franklin. That will make you lose your mind. Also, parking is hard to find at the local retail, restaurant area. It used to be very cool until it became more difficult to navigate.

Since Feliz is a Spanish word I often wonder why it's not pronounced as such, (fuh-lease) instead of (feel-us).

When I moved to LA in the early 2000s, the best answer I got was, "It's the local norm." It's always been tricky for me to stay with the norm "feel-us." In fact, you can hear me slightly slip to the Spanish pronunciation in a few places, veering into the "fuh-lease" pronunciation.

@@Tony.Mariotti makes sense. Kinda like the pronunciation of Los Angeles as well I guess.

Always bothers me when people switch the pronunciation of the “e” and “i” in “Feliz”.
