    I hope people will never forget this weekend may be the kickoff for grilling season but they shoudl pay tribute to those veterans whom have passed that have served our country to allow us the freedoms to grill as we choose.

      I have MediVaced a few of those soldiers and been to a couple of funerals for young heros. Memorial Day is just that around here. Thanks for the reminder.

    It's my kickoff because I just bought my first smoker. Traeger Pro 575. So tomorrow is the first cook. We'll see how it goes.

    I like to dry brine my chicken thighs for a few hours before seasoning and smoking. Great video!!!

      @@unclealzbbq2185 That's all i use, 3-4hrs in the fridge, uncovered. Pull them an hour or so before grilling and season normally. They come out amazing. Do the same thing on steaks when i reverse sear them

    I cooked your chicken chili and I smoked a whole chicken. Could I smoke without skin so your seasoning penitrate better? Would it dry chicken? Awesome recipe. Thank you

    Honestly, chicken naturally has alot of natural FAT that when in room temperature binds to seasoning anyways, naturally..you get more smoky crispy chicken on a smoker/grill with it's natural fat as "binder".

    If your into losing fat and do keto, correctly. Eating fat contrary to opinion is the best way to fuel ketones. Don't eat the grain fed chickens that have been fed with GMO corn or other GMO feed. Always,always strive for organic vegetarian fed free range chicken...just my opinion....for what it's worth
