I’ve said it before but it’s incredible we live in a time where we get in depth interviews like this by people who know the subject inside out, for over an hour, instead of some bullshit patronising 3 minute puff feature on a tv show or something. Thanks for everything you guys do
I always loved how if you went back to the comics from either the cartoon or the toys, the comic was a trip into craziness. But the people who came from "The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness" by Palladium, then this feels WAY closer to home because that game was nuts. I came from the toys and the show, a friend of mine came from the Tabletop RPG and when we both went back to the source material, HE found it easier to digest whereas I had the more "... This is VERY different than what i imagined". Love it guys. Love it.
This is just such a unique pleasure and special opportunity for all of us who grew up on these masters ' works and their legacy. And such an iconic issue

These are honestly special videos. I'd love for you guys to ask about the comedian Gallagher's claims (yes, the watermelon guy) that he's the one who conceived the idea of each TMNT having an individual personality and helped to sell the concept to Hollywood. I don't doubt it's 100% nonsense, but it's a claim he made repeatedly, even on Marc Maron's podcast IIRC.
