Cilbir is one of my all-time favorite egg dishes! I love it with lots of minced garlic in the yogurt. Sometimes when I'm lazy and don't feel like waiting for water to boil, I will "poach" the eggs in oil in a pan over low heat, spooning the hot oil over the eggs to cook them evenly. After the eggs are done, I will use the same oil to make the pepper sauce. Thank you for another wonderful recipe!

Thank you so much for sharing, loved your video. I have come across this recipe some time ago and it hás become one of my egg favourites. I have only tried it with paprika, I am going to try and find the spices mentioned here and add the mint (normally I use parsley, because it is what I have at hand). Thank you ☀️

June 12, 2021 Hi. This is my first time finding your channel. Also, my first time watching someone perpetrate any Turkish dish. I'm not normally a fan of yogurt, but this looks so good I'm going to try it. I subscribed and shared tonight. Thank you!
I had never had this dish and saw it for the first time a few days ago on YT. A few searches led to your recipe, and I made it this morning. What a beautiful, tasty and easy dish. Thank you for sharing it. This meal really warmed our hearts, as the temperature is -23C in Montreal this morning. Of course, I subscribed to your very nice channel.

Love from the southern US! 🇺🇸🇹🇷 I like the new filming style too - it lets us see you cooking almost as if we’re all standing with you in your kitchen. 😌

Hey when do we have to put the garlic, directly on the yoghurt or in the butter?
@@ilhamparkar1762 On the yoghurt
So do we cook the garlic a little or just chop and add in yogurt directly?
@@ankitakatoch1832 crush it into the yogurt. Be mindful of just how strong that can be.
