This is delicious! Add some onion and white cheese and you'll end up with "mish-mash" - that's Bulgarian version. I think Balkans cuisine it is a real mix of wonderful taste and texture and one of most versatile - add or sub-strakt something and becomes something different. Love from Bulgaria!

My mother used to serve “Mish-Mash” in monocultural rural Australia in the 1980s. I thought it was her made up name for throwing leftovers together. Then I visited Bulgaria some 30 years later and discovered it was a real thing! I always liked it, and enjoyed the “real” version even more in the Bulgarian villages.

Killing is wrong and would never ever normalize it!But western countries still kill today why is everyone looking away? Your comment is selfish to me and is in the past you should live in the present. What should we do now?I guess learn from mistakes! you should stand up for other people that are killed everyday because you can change thinks.beeing stuck in the past wont bring you further.that doesen't mean that people forget! No one will forget!
So stop beeing so ignorant and selfish and writing such things in the comment section of a cooking video.peace.please dont answer i dont want to start an argument under the video.

Leena Laisa Well, I’m not from Turkey but many of the Turkish dishes are still cooked by what is left of us in the Balkans. In fact many names are better preserved outside Turkey which in an attempt to become “modern” forgot them. For example, the original word for potato “kompir” became “patates” in Turkey. Half of Bulgarian kitchen contains Turkish words for food that are not often used in Turkey anymore.

You could throw your tomato into a pot and cook it whole and then the peel would peel right off...

This is the same as Shakshuka, which cooks the eggs whole in the tomato and pepper mix. Will cook tomorrow and mix in the eggs. Thanks.
