Meanwhile with Chinese and Russian Military Recruitment Ads: _WANNA DIE FOR YOUR COUNTRY?!_ *Proceeds to show badass Main Battle Tanks, Nuclear Submarines, Stealth Fighters, Lots of explosions and Special Forces being tacticool*
Russia and China are both authoritarian nations who control the culture and design a pro-nationalist curriculum, specifically for the purpose of making recruitment into their army more common and more ruthless. The reality is that, whilst this is a shitty, cringey ad, this is the kind of audience that the US has to cater too. Expand your outreach. Gen Z is the most Liberal population of any previous generation. And they're traditionally more anti-army, more anti-nationalism, and care more about new-age social issues than any other generation. So how do you get the libbies to join? Convince them that the Army has become woke, snag them in, and then BAM you've filled your positions and armed forces units. Or ya know just make the same Chinese/ Russian die for country, yay nationalism, kill the baddies, adverts that in recent times also coincide either a limited number of applicants and the smallest armed forces in decades. Yeah lets address low recruitment numbers by running the same ads. Or...and let's be smart, try your hand at crappy woke ads and see what ends up sticking! See, think with the brain. Gotta do trial and error. But it's apparent that woke is the way to go. Whether anyone likes it or not. Even the army gone work. It's just business I guess.
"So how do you get the libbies to join? Convince them that the Army has become woke, snag them in, and then BAM you've filled your positions and armed forces units." Those are not people you want in any military. The majority of our schools and our pop culture has been infiltrated by Marxists and they have wrecked many US institutions. We need to fix the institutions first by getting rid of the cultural Marxists and this "woke" garbage.
The Japanese SDF made a two season anime called "Gate" which shows that in the military you get to go through Stargate to kill dragons and evil magic users and maybe get your own elf wife.. I read that it go lots of knew recruits for them..

I'll give ya a better recruitment ad right now. Fade in to a soldier laying prone in snow, dead silence on audio, close up angle on face. He has snow and ice covering his body, yet appears unfazed by the cold. You can't see what's behind him since it's out of focus, but there is a lighter tone. Soldier's face slowly begins to show a tightening as he grits his teeth and aims down sights. Cut to close up on trigger, still silent on audio. Slow squeeze and the silence is broken by a muted gunshot, cut to side angle focused on the soldier followed by the sound of the soldier taking a breath. Soldier stands, turns 180 degrees, and walks towards what was previously not in focus but gave off a lighter tone, silence is gone and his footsteps crunch on snow. Camera follows soldier, still at same side angle, as he walks into a home (leaving the snow and his equipment behind, he is in civilian clothes) with his wife, son, and daughter waiting for him. He smiles, hugs them, and the screen fades to black. The words "There's nothing colder than losing those you love. Protect them." followed by recruitment info.
Thats the problem. The Army doesnt want warriors anymore. It wants PC bullshit. I mean the new SEC Army has never even worn a uniform and is now in charge of policy just because the senate wanted a women in that position.

A day job was monotonous and school looked too risky without a plan in mind. I wanted to be part of something greater and somehow wound up meeting with a recruiter. At first, I figured I'd just adapt, keep my head down, get money for college, and not think about what I was gonna wear every day for a couple years. I suddenly have these important people that want my input and my team is being handpicked for vital assignments. I realize that this stopped being a job years ago and has given me the purpose I sought. I'm , and I found my calling."

Commercial Idea
"I wasn't sure why I joined at first. I'd been working various jobs since I was fifteen and attended some college, but neither gave me purpose. A day job was monotonous and school looked too risky without a plan in mind. I wanted to be part of something greater and somehow wound up meeting with a recruiter. At first, I figured I'd just adapt, keep my head down, get money for college, and not think about what I was gonna wear every day for a couple years. Next thing I know, I'm being trusted with multi-million dollar weapons systems and being tasked with training others. I suddenly have these important people that want my input and my team is being handpicked for vital assignments. I realize that this stopped being a job years ago and has given me the purpose I sought. I'm , and I found my calling."
Perfect.
Now *this* is what it should have been
Don’t forget you got you’re hand in a jar now too!
This one, this one is actually more relatable, inspiring, and at the same time shows the realism of war and the military. The person shouldn't come in with aspiring expectations, they should get aspired from what the military has done to them despite the cruelty that comes along with it.

"People used to throw candy at us" Oh the horror!!! OK, I lived in Villa Duarte for years before the GDP went up later and no one ever threw candy at me. Villa Duarte is still a rough place. I could have used some candy. If the victim complex girl doesn't want candy, throw it at me. I lived through the IMF food riots and got tear gassed. People in my neighborhood got shot and killed. Yeah, tell about us your trauma, First World Problems girl. Facts: Those who earn their citizenship in the United States, value this country more, because they understand just how good we've got it here.
So true. i knew alot of guys who earned thier citizenship threw service and blood. They loved this country more than her own citizens. They understood what oppression is and that liberty was the rare gemstone of humanity.

This is the first time you ever seen a literal army official use the term, "cringe"
I swear to god. I needed to watch the Halo: ODST trailer to feel pumped about the idea of the military when I inevitably get drafted or conscripted.
Yeah. with recruitment numbers at an all-time low, I feel that the military will have to bring back conscription. Either that or they will extend contracts for soldiers already in like me who are about to get out (I might actually want to reenlist so I can do my 20 years and retire, but you get the point).
@@BlueCheeseWheeze on the other hand, if the space force ever end up like the Navy, you're still gonna need space semen chugger seamen and marines (future space hobos) to make it a functional space navy 😂
@wowalinbie I'm from Canada, we had a conscription in WW1. It wasn't very popular so they passed a law to prohibit conscription in the future. Guess the fucking what? We ended up having conscription in WW2 forcing an increasingly larger paortion of the population for mandatory training and/or deployment as well.

For what I've noticed, people who enlisted with a bachelors don't plan on staying very long or they don't want to deal with a lot of paperwork.
@@shawnculpepper4589 well it's just how it is with officers. You can have too much turnover or you can have too little.
@TheIgors20 that's what the second lieutenant rank is for. It's the learning rank where you have a sergeant holding your hand and showing you the ropes. Once you've learned and gotten experience, you get promoted to first lieutenant and that's when the army expects you to be useful
There was a female soldier in my unit who tricked into enlisting. She eventually became an officer in the Air Force.
It's cringey because the focus is on the "politically correct" aspects of the recruits and not the lethality of the skills the Army taught them. Dear God I want our enemies to be afraid when they see our military and this Care Bear pansy shit ain't it!
You are totally missing the point of the recruitment ads, holy hell. Most of them were bad but you're just an idiot that doesn't understand who the ads are for
@@hushpuppi3 Sorry but I am also planning to join the military and good god do these ads NOT help. It's absolutely pathetic in my opinion, the army as I understand it is not a place to be a snowflake but everyone gets equally pounded in to the dirt to be built back up again as a trained lethal soldier tasked with defending the country and it's allies. I don't think pussifying the general view of the military to pander to an extreme minority of people with anime style ads is worth it.
@@matthewnunyabusiness5085 navy vet from 2014, here. You better talk to people serving, until you make the decision. I don't know how bad the army is, but the navy was literally no different from a trashy community college. We watched a pbs show about life on a carrier for training, for the love of Basement Jesus! It was all drama, loads of apathy and narcissism, and complete fuckery in every direction. You know shit's getting bad when one a school student attempts to steal a train from Chicago, and another few steal a bread truck, and proceed to throw bread at civilians... But ask just about any of my old shipmates, and they will accuse me of being a shitbag, because I was conservative and unapologetic about it. So my advice is, talk to people serving, and make sure you can handle being brothers and sisters with dudes that were chicks and chicks that fuck half the platoon on a long weekend.
