Them Chinese break barrels are quite the value. I've got one in .22, looks a lot like yours. Have slain ground squirrels, cotton tails, possums and one large Raccoon with it. Love the silly thing.

My friend's dad had one of these for like 20 years (not sure of the brand name, but identical in appearence and mechanism) and it was all rusty. He was going to hand it to me for restoration and he left it on the roof of his truck, started going, the rifle fell, another car ran over it, and it ended up looking like yours after you threw it to the tree. The barell bent like 5°. The thing still fired very accurately, and after I un-bent the barrel and some rust removing, is worked a little better. Hadn't made another stock tho', just glued the wooden pieces back together and gave it back.
My air rifle cost a lot more than that one but honestly I'm pretty impressed for $59 you never mentioned anything adjusting the sights and I wouldn't expect it to be accurate out-of-the-box

I don't shoot opossums or raccoons cause they are way to trusting of humans naturally and they show alot of intelligence and are friendly to humans. Anything else Is free game tho. Raccoons will come hangout with me and same with opossums so that's why I can't shoot them , they have no survival instincts with humans

I actually own this exact rifle but i got it from an actually gun store and ive had it for many years. Its held up well and still shoots perfectly
