more money than sense
fr, bro has no idea how scopes work
@@lostforwar5619you're saying "fr'' and "bro'' in a childish manner. Leads me to think YOU don't know how scopes work
bruh lol xd
Definitely more money than sense. Should stick to non-living targets if he's going to act like that.
LMAO, I love where you store the cheap air rifles.
I had a Weihrauch HW80 as a kid. Before that I had a Gamo. The Weihrauch changed the game for me.
yes! me too.. in 1977 my HW30-s
I must have lucked out with my Gamo. All that I did was put some decent mounts/optics on it and upgrade the trigger and it still groups within a pellet diameter at 25yds after 10 years and many thousands of rounds. The key for me was finding the right pellet, a heavy but high quality projectile that remained subsonic. Maintenance helps too. :)
Weirauch rifles are some of the best made air rifles 👌 wont have anything else
I agree, But early Haenals were really good too. Nothing like German Spring guns
Yeah same with the old Diana’s and feinwerkbau’s 👌👌👌💪💪💪
@@richardbrooks1488Anschutz 335 it’s a lovely rifle 👍
If your air rifle's accuracy is poor, try another pellet, and use the artillery hold technique when shooting with a spring air rifle
Do you mean squeeze the trigger thumb and finger, not pull the trigger like I have seen others do and hold your breath
First, dry firing a spring air gun is a great way to mess up the piston. Secondly you need to learn how to hold the rifle. A spring air is not like shooting a pcp or firearm. You have to hold it very gently and let the gun move just like an artillery barrel moves. Could be why those who shot these types of guns call it an artillery hold.
And as others mentioned, while shooting birds for the fun of it was neat back when I was a young kid and didn't know better, it really isn't cool.
Someday when you have nothing to do, bored, try out a Beeman Mantis 10616 if you can find one. It is a beast. Big. Heavy. Silent. Almost. Easy cocking but very long. Will need a scope upgrade. 1,000 fps 18.4 fpe with RWS Superdomes 8.3 gr. Tree rat kill shots at 45 yards easy. Racoon, ground hog, opossum, skunk, all gone. 177 cal. Much fun. Maybe I got lucky, but there are many five star reviews on this gun. Paid $129. If you try it and it is not good, report. I will not mind. But you might get a good hunter. Great video Sir, thank you.
5.56792 billion day of asking BLOCKETH for a air rifle
I was shocked you didn't hit that ground hog. Your Site was perfectly lined up with him if you pause the video. 9:53 Dang! sooo close.
seems like it just went a literal hair too high :/
I think he didn't center his eye with the scope that well cause the shot was good windage wise but if you look to high through your scope you will hit low if you look to low thru your scope you will hit high , I think that's the culprit here @@kierancreed2655
It looked like he was shooting high right.
YOU MY FAVOITE TH-cam I SWEAR I LOVE YOU
Dude I was scrolling on youtube and I saw the for you page and man I clicked sooooo fast when I saw this video
I use Barcaduca Light 9.57 gr for my HW 95 and they work well. Be aware that it takes a few hundred shots to reach full accuracy. Nice shots and keep up the good work.
I cant wait to see the pcp hunting videos!
First off Blake i enjoyed yet another drop on your channel your doing great content but I have a critique for you first off take a little more time to learn the airguns I’ve never had a 60$ air gun maybe a powerline 880 is in that price range about but I could group it consistently to about .5 inch groups same with my umarex Blackhawk both are .177 and once you figure them out as long as you can make those small adjustments and corrections are certainly viable small game hunters just gotta have some patience and pellets to be honest other then that I think you just have some bad luck on a lot of your shots prob the wind keep it up!!!
The groundhog got a free haircut
can you do a video of the crosman 760 pumpmaster?
When you shot your FX dynamic 30 Cal and you were having frustrating results did you try it with the moderator off? I know mine made a huge difference when I took it off.
He did some tuning and got it to shoot like its supposed to
I love your air rifles video's . U are soo underrated
Thank you!!
You should try the ruger pellet gun bc it shoots incredibly accurate and comes with an amazing scope I know you won't read this but it is a suggestion
Vid #3 of waiting for a 30 cal sniper video
I got my tx200. By far my favourite gun I own. Take it over my pcps any day.
I wish he made a video every day
Freaking great video brotha! I remember getting one at Walmart for like $40ish had it for 7years and still great air gun 😂 Walmart for the win 🤷🏽♂️
Trajectory is not just caliber size. Weight and speed are the real factors. A heavier projectile at the same speed as the light projectile will have a flatter trajectory as it has more mass for momentum. There is a diminishing point however where the heavier projectile will fall off very fast. However that point is farther than where the light projectile even makes it to.
Nice review skinny wreck it Ralph
Perfect hunter love you and your bros safety💙
So you've obviously got more money than sense.. the rifles are alright, it's the person shooting it that's the problem... why would you want to shoot small birds???
I like your videos bro! Hello from 🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺
Nice video thanks for the reviews of these air rifles.
Ik that beeman does good for hunting if you know how to aim I popped a bird with the .22 caliber pellet I’m sure you could probably get some squirrels with it, I’d also say that 600 dollars is expensive for an air rifle but then again I asked for a $700+ USD Seneca Recluse II which is a .357 (9mm) PCP Airgun for my recent 29th Birthday along with some Seneca flat point 127gr .357 (9mm airgun slugs) idk why they class them as both .357 and 9mm but it’s miss leading up on handling the slug it’s more of a .357 caliber over 9mm as I’ve shot a Rossi .357 magnum chambered in .357 magnum. And I have one floating around my room that my moms now ex husband had gave me long ago along with a 115gr 9mm that my mom gave me and a box of .380 auto ammo for my grandfathers little handgun in my safe, let’s just say I love collecting different ammo, I’ll say this owning a pcp air rifle chambered in a large caliber slug is the next best thing to owning a real firearm for the fact that 1 here there’s no registration required, 2. You’re not limited on where you can shoot like with a real firearm, and some air rifles can do just as much damage as the real deal, this caliber I have is enough to drop most small to medium game.
Can you hunt deer with a .357 airgun?
@@Nurse_Xochitlthat I’m not sure idk if it would have the power to take down a deer although there’s big bore air guns that’ll take down deers easily but then you’re getting in to the 1000+ dollar range but who knows I’ve seen guys take down wild hogs with .357 air guns so possibly but don’t take my word for it.
Try hunting using traps ❤🎉
I have a stoeger break barrel and i love it
Love the videos 👍🏻
You Need to buy the Seneca dragon claw dude
maybe a benchrest would improve your shakey accuracy
I love how you named the pellets but not the guns
get a 72 cal air rifle
I have an old crosman 760 that i got for cheap. I put a scope on it. Took time to sight in the scope and i got some good accuracy with it.
Get a air arms pro sport ore a hw97k hw90k .22
When those birds figure out where your car is they're gonna crap all over it!
Holy man... really impressive videos, youre the best.
Good times nicely done 👍
Please do NOT toss meiBengei! Break it in like a honeymoon! Lol
Bro try to upload it on a week time period...
WHY would you spend 600 £$€ on a breakbarrel when you could buy a semi decent PCP for the same money?
Bro dont break this rifle give it to me😊
Your poor father must get tired of replacing the lights around the farm.
You're hard shooting sparrows

Hi blocketh i'm fan 👻👍
Worthless. Not just the rifles.
This channel should be called blockhead outdoors
Dude you know you can sight in your scopes right? They dont come out of the box shooting pinpoints. You have to make it accurate.
He probably just took the caps off 6:01 for fun, because if he sighted it in he stinks at it. He was dead on multiple shots and that thing was everywhere.
I guess you missed the part where he said he had to zero the scope still?
Although it looks like it's shooting a little high right. He probably could have done a bit better but he did acknowledge that it needed to be done and he in fact did do some work to it.
He said he would zero them in the video. He was probably taking shot to see how close his shots where grouped together to test it’s accuracy.
@@mikewhitman745 lol
zeroing the scope is a good start but the cross hairs have to be perfectly in line with the bore vertically ,gun has to be held perfectly horizontal or it will shoot high and right or left depending on which way the gun was canted
The problem isn't the guns here. The problem is the operator.
Fr
Spot on.
The HW95 is a ton of fun. My HW95 Luxus 22 is my number 1 hunter. Ps, you will need lots of practice, and where you hold your rifle will dictate where your pellet will fly.

Ive been into air rifles all my life , im 62 so long ass time . Once you try a pcp its no contest , they spoil ya quick .
what is a good accurate entry level pcp or is it better to save up and buy a more expensive pcp? consistency in accuracy being the most important feature. asking cause i don't want to get a bunch of pcp rifles before i can find a consistently accurate model.
Dude dial in your scope properly and learn to shoot first, before you start hunting.
Thats bullshit shooting a small bird. You shouldn't be allowed to have a gun.
Learn what invasive birds are before you comment on other peoples stuff
@@Imzayuh1231 I do know what invasive birds are. That is still doesn't make it right.Im 63yrs old and hunted most of my life.If it's something you can't eat why shoot it.One of these days you will grow up and look back then realize what I'm talking about.A small little bird that do eat insects and kill it.Grow up that's why they make targets to shoot at.
@bammersmith5993 he is killing them cus they invasive and destroy crops and kill other birds
Learn common sense
English sparrows are a non native invasive bird. The male, with the black bib and the heavey beak, will go into a nesting cavity and murder native song birds and destroy their eggs, then build a nest out of garbage on top of the destroyed eggs and corpse of the bird they killed. Those birds are unprotected.
this bloke shouldnt be allowed to even have a slingshot

Give me a plus rifle❤
Why not
@@birdnerd4302 Because is is so cheesy and small and mean.
That suicidal groundhog wasn’t running away from your shot it was running to the tire of guns

You need to sort out your Springer hold, hold it like a woman, no hard surfaces. Learn your trajectory too. At short distances you will need to hold under. Nothing wrong with breal barrels and always use premium domed pellets (JSB, H+N), all others are gimmicks for plonkers.
Before you shoot at animals lead the barrel in and find best pellets for your barrel.
Yes. Springers are hold sensitive. Whatever you do, do it all the time. Repeat the same procedure. If you change your hold, your impact will be different.
First to comment
I am
Keep on loading them break barrels without holding the barrel... eventually a trigger sear will fail at the wrong time and you will loose a finger tip or two. Don't think it can happen? A Beeman R9 trigger sear failed as I was holding the barrel as I was raising the barrel and it slammed the barrel shut and bent the barrel upwards as it snatched it out my hand and that was on a primo condition R9 that's a high end gun.. after that I wouldn't EVER trust a break barrel without holding the barrel down and in a under lever or side level I wouldn't ever trust the anti bear trap. You keep doing it and it will get you eventually.
Hope we see it when it does man, this guy is a putz!
indeed. I have seen it happen
@@stan-ut5gj Hahahaha
Bro just sthu stop yapping
To avoid missing get your "artillery hold" right. Once that is done you'r consistancy will go way up. The worst thing you can do to a springer is to hold on to it to hard.
could you do a video on a 17hmr? they are a really interesting gun/caliber and i would love to a hunting video with it!

Hello 🎉
If anyone here has a PCP rifle, what amount should spend on one? And are they really worth it?
I do ITS cost me Rp 2000000. And ITS really worth .
My first pcp was a .25 hatsan jet 2 pistol/carbine combo. I love it, but it is really loud for an airgun. I think I paid $250 for it new. Something to keep in mind though......you also have to buy either a hand pump (which is what I did... $50-$150) or a compressor if you get a bigger airgun. All in all, I think its worth it. They make for a really fine shooting experience. Just my opinion 😊
Hatsan flash qe it’s around 300 hand pump friendly and comes in .177 .22 and .25 caliber and is rated at 40 ft lbs I can shoot through cast iron skillets with the .25 cal version 900 fps 40ft lbs and it comes with built in baffles making it quite back yard friendly
Yes they're sweet. I got a Barra 1100z for $225 in .22 caliber and it's great pest gun. Umarex Notos is another good one under $300. Lots of decent options in the $200-300 range now
@@russl9029 I agree. But to me Its Really what you want to do with it. omho. I grew up with Spring guns, so that is what I plink with. (And hunt) My PCP are about the same price as the springers. so no advantage one way or the other.. Its all good so the bottom line is have fun.
Eh ya went after birds and looked like ya wounded several wo putting them down. wth. You were prolly too far to drop them every time, You're at a farm for crying out loud. Go for mice n rats?! Sheesh!

I love break barrels for their simplicity. They are very silent and weigh next to nothing, but they always seem to lose zero for me. The triggers suck, and the accuracy seems to be poor.

I have also been shooting air rifles for years for fun and as a hobbyshooting, but birds to test an air rifle.... how sick and perverse is that ! Shame on you, but I think you like it, unfortunately !
Mannnn... you would've loved the Walther LGV (discontinued). Better than the HW95/R9. It was only let down by the trigger unit. Also heavy so not good for stalk hunting... But internally, the LGV (vs the HW95/R9) was practically a tuned rifle. If you're handy and have a spring compressor tool (very important for safety), you can upgrade the internals on the HW95/R9 with a tuning kit from Jim Maccari (airrifleheadquarters) or Tom Gore (vortek). Get rid of that twang. Or get into the airgun forums and get it tuned by one of the pros there. May I recommend tuning for accuracy, not for power, at around 11 foot pounds. Ask the pro tuner, they'll know what to do. At that smooth power level, you can print half inch groups at 50 yards on calm days AND will minimize the hold sensitivity of that gun (this will further help in accuracy). If you're going to keep that, get it tuned! Look up VerminhuntersTV's old videos (Si is a great shot and does the rifles justice) and see what a tuned rifle can do. 177 is fine, with proper shot placement, and that's easier to do with a tuned rifle. It's what our UK friends work with, although some do prefer the 22 for close range ratting. That HW95/R9 will last you a lifetime and always put a smile on your face every time you come back to it. Great choice.
We need to paradrop this Rambo in Afghanistan and see how he likes the "adventure sports" over there. His fellow adrenaline junkies tried it for 20 odd years sleeping with one eye open. 😂
