    i used this video for reference to help me get my first pc, i got a lenovo thinkcentre m910s, i5 6500 (hopefully upgrade to i7 6700 or 7700 eventually) 16gb ram 2133mhz, LP rx 550 4gb & i gotta say i'm happy with it, i know its not the best but it gets the job done! i really like what you did with the fan mod, and i myself love dead by daylight so watching this really helped make my decision, if it wasnt for you i would still be on my ps4!

      Excellent! Luckily your M910 will support 7th gen Intel, so that would be a nice upgrade. If you find a GTX 1650 low profile for a good deal, that will pair well with an i7-6700 or i7-7700. The 2GB AMD Card I installed in this video isn't the greatest, just what I had at the time. Good luck and welcome to the realm of PC's! Here's a video I did with the i7-6700 & GTX 1650 in the same M900: th-cam.com/video/PTVBP0kVo98/w-d-xo.htmlsi=U91Sc3mHNZ0ouYwN

    Hi Haste. Excellent video I have a Lenovo M720S that I use for business. It is also the small form factor model. I bought it stock with an 8th gen I-7 processor. Only upgrade I did was to add an M.2 NVME SSD. It made a big difference in the speed. I'm finding that this model or the M920S can be picked up at very attractive prices with the 9th Gen I-5 processor...which is more than adequate for business use. Anyway, really enjoyed watching our video. Amazing what you can do with an affordable computer like this. Thanks for sharing. Well done my friend....

      Thank you! an 8th or 9th gen Intel i5 or i7 would be excellent. I did a couple videos where I installed a GTX 1650, 1050, and 1050Ti into this M900. If you ever decide to install a graphics card reach out and let me know how it goes.

    I have the exact PC. Only 8 gig memory the i5-6500 CPU I just tweaked the integrated graphics. And in getting as hi as 200fps but never lower that 80 fps at 1920x1080 60hrz just set everything for performance in windows and the integrated graphics. You don't need a different video card. Just put the settings right in windows for the integrated graphics and turn on game mode in windows set it for performance.

      Do you mind going into more detail as for what games you are referencing? You definitely would need a dedicated graphics card to play a wider variety of games with better performance and higher resolution. Yes, you can play some "higher end" games on the integrated GPU by lowering the resolution and graphics settings, but it's confusing for people to hear someone say that they don't need a graphics card.

Lowest I've got for fps so far is 60fps with everything on high.

      You can, and I have a couple of times. You will need to purchase a cable adapter for the ATX power supply to connect to the small 6-pin connection on the Lenovo motherboard. This comes with one caveat: The power supply fan will never shut off (even with the pc powered down) unless you flip the switch on the PSU or unplug. In this way, it acts like a jumper. Can be found here: www.moddiy.com/ Might I also suggest an upgrade to i7-6700.

    Hey haiste, do you think using an SSD, 16 GB of ram... the low profile rx 6400 will work well in this rig? It only consumes 53w and performs three times as well.
    My psu is 210w but I have seen people using a nvidia quadro k1200 which consumes 45w and works very well, so I was wondering if the rx 6400 could also work, thanks for the video I would greatly appreciate if you solve my doubt.

      You can run the RX6400 and probably be just fine. Just note that the M900 is PCIe Gen 3 while the RX6400 is PCIe Gen4. • @HaisteComputerRepair
      @HaisteComputerRepair  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It looks like both the 2GB and 4GB variant of the low profile RX 550 has that TDP of 50W, with a suggested power supply of 250W. Unfortunately the M900 PSU is 210W (at least the 20+ I have worked on). The power connecter is only 10 Pin, so not so easy to swap out with another PSU. You can use cable adapters, but with the caveat of a different, or ATX, power supply fan running at all times unless the PC is completely shut off. However, you might be totally fine with the 210W PSU. I will be testing this out soon with a GTX 1650 and i7-6700 in a M900 with the 210W PSU. Will definitely make a video.

      The RTX 4060 Low Profile has a recommended 300W PSU and, in models I have seen, require a 6-pin power connecter. An RTX 3050 would run fine, though one thing to note is that the M900 motherboard will be limited to PCIe 3.0 speeds, while the 3050 will have PCIe 4.0 capability. Sorry to bother but could you please provide me a couple links so I can upgrade my m900 sff… I’d like to do the nvme ssd but I’m not sure which PCIE I would need as well as the nvme you’d recommend? Also is there anyway to just place the nvme in my existing nvme slot that’s already built in to my m900? Thank you and sorry for all the questions

      What is your budget on SSD's? There isn't an NVMe slot in the M900, but if you have a particular variant (not M900) that might be the case. Here's a couple links: www.amazon.ca/UGREEN-NVMe-PCIe-Adapter-64Gbps/dp/B08TBW12B8/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3TK8FFFX17Y1G&keywords=nvme+adapter&qid=1698278537&s=electronics&sprefix=nvme+adapte%2Celectronics%2C126&sr=1-5

I’m a little confused though.. the link you sent has a lot more pins compared to your video pcie adapter and was wondering what the difference is between the one you used in this video Vs the link you sent me regarding the m900 Small form factor?? Look for "low profile" graphics cards. Something like a GT 1030, GTX 1050 (ti), GTX 1650. AMD Radeon RX 550. Search for Low Profile cards. Feel free to link me to anything you are looking at for a second opinion.

      @@dabby_killa1155 Yes it is, I just did one. But, you will need a 24-pin to 6-pin adapter for the power supply connection. One caveat to this is adapter is the power supply fan and any fans connected to the power supply via molex will continue to run until you flip the power supply switch to off. If that is no problem, let me know and I can send you a link to the cable adapter.

    • @HaisteComputerRepair

      Yep, you will just need a larger power supply and the cable adapters needed to connect it to the motherboard. A larger case as well. There are Front audio and USB 3.0 adapters you can get to connect to the Lenovo connecters on the motherboard. Let me know if you want to know more, I can provide links. I built an i7-6700K and RTX 2060 PC last year and it performed well.
