Nothing will ever beat the guy who broke out of prison. The cop runs into the guy and they hangout BSing for around 30 minutes and even asking on the radio for a description he lets him go. The cop even warns him he may get stopped again and the guy asks for the cops information so he can use his name to get passed the other cops!

Yes, he needed an evaluation when he was first arrested and then long term treatment. Just releasing him like this was going to lead to this. Imagine if his illness led him to try to break into a home or an occupied car, That could lead to him getting shot by a citizen defending themselves or police having to deal with a hostage situation. It's dangerous for everyone involved and outright irresponsible on society's part.

The title was trying to say "escaped" as in, he was released from jail, then went right back. Not an actual prison break. Sensationalist titles aren't a good look for this kind of content.
Prison uniforms are often red, orange, green, or something that stands out. Release clothes are often grey. He's in light grey with plastic bags of property and his own underwear. And if you're released, they give you your property in clear bags like that. If you are literally escaping, you wouldn't slow yourself down with a small bag of worthless cell effects.

The lighting is bad, but he's in light colored jail clothes, and he had his own underwear on, he was released from jail. The clear bag with his belongings also tells that. Dude might have been aressted in his underwear or his clothes were too disgusting to keep in a locker for him

This is somewhat local to me, this body camera footage is from the Kent PD which is about 20 minutes south of Seattle without traffic. They mentioned Fairfax which is a mental health facility in Kirkland, Washington. Kent has a regional justice center, and so does downtown Seattle.
This guy may belong in Fairfax more than King County Jail. There’s a fine line that the police departments are having to walk these days between what is a mental health issue (or drugs) causing people to break laws and what is a criminal breaking laws for financial gain or sheer stupidity.
