That guy definitely knows why he got beat and threatened, and who did it. He dont wanna press charges knowing he gonna get more charges once the cops investigate 😅
Being a law abiding citizen, I don’t see why the police find it surprising that people don’t want to press charges for things. What’s actually going to happen to the perp? You have to make a statement, press charges, maybe testify in court, etc… Meanwhile the charges are lessened or dropped and you now have a criminal with a “score to settle” with you and your family. If the courts actually handed out severe penalties for breaking the law, I think that more law abiding citizens would press charges. The guy that bit the other guy got 4 days in jail and a $100 fine that he probably didn’t pay.
Exactly. I had an assault left me in the hospital, video evidence wasn't enough apparently for a lawyer or the cops or anything HOW?? ACTUAL VIDEO EVIDENCE.... but pressing charges would only aggravate the person who assaulted me more. Was a old 20yr long friend of mine. Shameful...

@@lauxmyth It's not. If you use your brain and actually look up the stats, you'd see we really don't have a gun problem. We have a self deletion problem... We have 333 million people in this country. 50,000 deaths each year to guns (I'm rounding up for the sake of my argument) and we'll say on the very, very, low end of that half of those are self deletion. That puts us at 25,000 deaths due to gun violence if we assume every death is a murder. If we do the math, then 0.0075% of people die to gun violence every year. And remember that only 1% of that is mass shootings. Yeah, we have such a problem.... On the opposite side, an anti gun group did a study and found that no less than 600,000 times a year someone uses a gun to defend themselves or someone else from a criminal meaning to do harm. 25,000 vs 600,000, the anti gun rhetoric is all lies.
Depending on the state, what sign? Some individual store entrances don't have signs when the actual mall doors are posted, so enter and exit through a store with no signs so video shows you never seeing a sign.

They can talk to you anyway they want and if you get overly emotional over it to where you make bad choices and get "escalated" then it's a problem with you! As commenter said, "there is a time and a place, you need to have priorities". Be smart! Go along to get along, nothing you can do to win when the nation's most dangerous gang is on you.... that's it. Get them later in court if they treat you wrong...... I've had atleast 10 incidences with police that were awful and felt completely wrong that i can instantly recall, mostly traffic stops, but 4 times I've had them called on me for doing nothing wrong at all, while working!!.... Had my private owned work van with well known (established) company decals all over at the grocery store at 10pm at night after just getting off work. Someone from my apartment complex called on me, even tho I had lived there for over 6 months at this point, because they "thought it was strange that a plumbing van was driving around so late at night". I stopped home and realized i needed some things from the grocery store...Police found my van at the grocery store that I stopped at and was waiting for me in the parking lot, blocking my van in. They talked to me like I was some hardened criminal that they had a warrant for. Nevermind it was extremely clear and obvious what was going on when you see a plumber in a professionally put together uniform, dirty with the day's work that matched the van, pushing out a cart of food. They treated me like they were going to arrest me until they searched my van (with their "probable cause and all"). When my sotry and their perception finally 100% no doubt matched up they told me a concerned citizen called for the reason mentioned. No apology, no at ease friendly "yeah it is kinda silly", just "they called, you check out, now get outta here". They even questioned me about wether my employer knows I'm making personal runs in their van.... nope and wouldn't matter anyway because we (employees) had to buy the vans!.... Three other times I had them called on me as a contractor while working on empty homes that were for sale on the market. Guns drawn on me all 3 of those times, barking orders on edge.... nevermind the door is intact and open with keys in the lock and I'm working with new materials stacked and staged, a contractor truck parked outside and I'm putting new stuff in, not taking anything out. 1 of those 3 times I was open carrying my side arm and it was a real tense situation, I thought the on edge rookie was going to pop me in my back until his more seasoned partner came and slowly got my DL and found that I had a valid carry permit, when we needed to have it for conceal carry in my state, but it didn't matter anyway, because at that point we were an open carry state without permit. Dude shouldn't have been an officer if he's that uneasy with citizens exercising their 2 A rights!... But... Always barking orders and being condescending and rude even when you do everything calm, cool and collected and polite as you should. AND IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT SHADE YOU ARE EITHER. This has been my experience as a W man. I don't like that they act that way and I often think they are over the top and enjoying flexing that power and control over another a little too much but I know it's a no win situation to get angry and show out on them. Sometimes you have to bypass your ego to survive, especially with those whose job it is to do things and act in a way to "escalate" with a whole empowered system behind them that you can not beat. But hey, atleast some people can make their families pretty rich off of "testing the system" and losing. While others don't even get any attention, mention or second thought, no vids going viral on social media, no bleeding hearts arguing on their behalf in the comments, making them some kind of hero, just totally overlooked, dismissed and invisible.

It’s because it’s private property. CCW and Constitutional Carry is your right to carry in public. A mall is not public therefore they can make any rules they like. In Texas businesses can post signs prohibiting firearms. You wouldn’t get charged for illegal possession of a firearm. You’d get charged with trespassing.
Far too many people who carry guns carry them for totally wrong reasons these days. Guns are not for winning arguments or settling beef, they are for protection from people who are trying to do you or others harm. If you feel the need to use a gun for either of those things then you shouldnt be carrying period. A CCW permit is not a license to try and intimidate others with your gun.
I live in Ohio and I'm absolutely grateful that we have our gun laws however I feel like our whole state should be allowed to have those except for Cleveland and the surrounding counties because that's where all the idiots live who like to shoot their guns or brandish them even if they don't get their cheeseburger or taco fast enough 🙄 I'm super glad I live far away from Cleveland but even 2 hours away makes me unsafe when I think about Cleveland. All the counties around it as well
Yeah. The problem is how do you decide who wants the gun for what. The answer is somewhat simple. Stricter gun laws. Not everyone needs to carry a gun.
yep. always those ‘teens’ causing trouble. seeing video of all the ‘teens’ at the mall makes me never want to go to a mall again. or anywhere else they congregate.
@@ian5780 true that it sucks for the cops but if they let the suspects work it out their way, it may have ended up with them using their weapons and endangering everybody's lives at the mall
The fact that the state trusts us to even get a ccw and carry a gun in public, but they don’t trust us when we are in a mall? Makes no sense. This law needs to change!
I still don’t think that should matter. It is a “private property” but it is open to who ever wants to come in. Self protection should be allowed in any building that allows the public to enter it. Like I said before, if it is only allowed in certain areas, then it shouldn’t be allowed at all. Obviously that is unconstitutional so it will thankfully never pass, however, it proves my point that location specific gun laws are hypocritical and unconstitutional.

Exactly, that’s some bs. He can probably fight it in court because he was never issued an official prior warning but you never know with these backward State laws.
IDK how it is in Ohio but in Texas the property can post 1 of 3 signs that are specifically designed in the law. The signs must be posted at every public entrance. The sign itself, if properly installed, is your trespass warning. If you go past the sign then you are remaining on the property after being asked to leave, ergo criminally trespassing. The owner of the property has the right to ask anyone to leave their property for basically any reason. Only a place “generally open to the public” has any sort of restrictions on who they can ask to leave. (So a store or other business lobby.) They can’t ask someone to leave for race, creed, or religion.

Excuse me, it didn’t happen to you so don’t worry about it. This is for entertainment purposes, if it creates emotional responses from you stop watching it.
The amount of civilians I see on this channel walking straight into the line of fire of an officer is absolutely ridiculous. Imagine seeing a gun pointed somewhere and thinking “oh this is a great chance for me to walk right in front of him”. People are genuinely so out of their minds and focused only on themselves. We live in a society…
I dont know the law in that state but in Oklahoma you can have a firearm on you in a place that has posted "no gun" signs. Its their policy not law. If someone associated with the property asks you to leave then you must leave. If you refuse then it is trespassing. Ive never heard of trespassing because you had a gun.
I think it’s safe to assume they work with security guards or have a standing agreement with the property owner to trespass automatically if a gun is brought to their property. New gun laws are forcing property owners to do whatever they can to keep their patrons safe. If people keep bringing gun fights to the malls we won’t have a place to shop anymore. Guns are lame and uncivilized.
If the private property owner posts signs that say "No firearms allowed," it's usually their policy that bringing a firearm on the property is an automatic trespass. By you not following their posted policies, you are not welcome there and the police can remove you. This is just like "all persons entering are subject to search." You don't want to be searched, don't enter.
@@OGKenG If they post signs banning firearms and someone who otherwise would have been carrying is harmed by an act of violence, the property owner should be 100% liable. These property owners don't ban firearms to promote safety. They do it because their insurance policies would be more expensive if they didn't. Then they don't even have adequate security for such a large property. They put all of us in danger, violate our right to self defense, all so they can save a few bucks.

This is very typical in many parts of the US. This is why we see so many cases where someone has been charged for dozens of thefts, robberies, and assaults by time they're 20yo. I'm actually really surprised when I see someone get an appropriate sentence for their crime now. They've effectively weaponized a certain part of the US population by subsidizing single motherhood and giving extremely light sentences to repetitive violent offenders born from these broken households. This is how you cause a societal and economic collapse within a superpower nation, well at least part of how you do it. I bet other countries are laughing their asses off watching this nation become a zoo. 😐
they fought inside a mall . and didn't fire guns that they were legally carrying ... and neither had any criminal convictions whatsoever . what in god's green earth world in penalties were you looking for ?

These people are one of the biggest reasons that malls around the country are closing. Their constant "hanging around", aka loitering, not buying anything, and causing a scene is one reason as to why legitimate customers don't want to go to malls. Yeah, online shopping has obviously hurt malls but these losers with no jobs and nothing to do all day but "hang out" all day long makes it uncomfortable for the paying customer.
They're adults hanging around at malls all day so they're not working. They should get a job and put all their effort into that instead of endangering other people over stupid sh!t
Malls are closing because there are a bazillion malls built that are no longer needed. All the popular malls will stay open, regardless of how many of these fights there are (there aren't many).
Except most gun free zones have no legal weight, a privately owned business could have a no gun sign, and a guy could be discovered carrying a gun there and all they could do is ask him to leave. But he would not get in trouble for carrying a gun there as he broke no law. I carry plenty of places where there are no gun signs posted, and I’m completely legal. Guess what too, my gun has never jumped out of the holster and harmed anyone.
@@GOOBENsticks the point is that this specific law or rule only affects people who had no intention of breaking said law. And gun free zones are well known soft targets, there are attempted shootings all the time that we don’t hear about because there isn’t a high body count. Why? Because some dude was there with a gun and shot the bad guy. I can point to many examples.
Not being allowed to conceal carry in a mall, a place where nowadays an active shooting could happen at any time, is like the government signing you up for execution
I do agree and this day and age and if I was a business owner I think I would take the risk of allowing guns in my business more than I would not because there's so many mass shootings everywhere That's just me though, that's just the route that I would probably go and feel more safe sadly.

@@r3d0ubt TLDR; due to the fact 72 million illegal migrants have crossed the border in the last 10 years (that's the average estimate, and no I'm not joking), they've begun displacing large impoverished communities in larger cities because they basically eat up all the lower income jobs due to the fact they don't have to be documented and thus can be paid less in an already dirt cheap income bracket. Because of this they have to move to smaller cities and more rural and suburb areas to find work, and by extension (and because typically lower class income brackets have little to no formal education due to societal pressures) the property values go down which causes an influx of migrants trying to also find work, which further exacerbates the problem. Its basically reverse-gentrification at a massive scale and there is virtually no way anyone can stop it at this point without borderline humanitarian violations, so it is what it is I guess; just get used to the increase in crime as time goes on.
As a LEO, it is so incredibly important to know and understand your statutes and not just go off what you've been told or taught in training. Carrying a gun into a private business that doesn't allow firearms in of itself is not criminal trespassing. It only becomes trespassing when the business asks you to leave and you refuse. Had the individual's story been true, he wasn't looking at a minimum of criminal trespass, he should be let go with nothing more. There is nothing in Ohio's trespass statute that backs up that claim.
Did security at an Ohio mall for a year (Polaris) They have no signs posted anywhere, all they have is it listed as "Rule #3" of the mall that you don't see until you are already inside on a sign you are not even going to read.
@fear5735 No firearms allowed signs don't make it trespassing, regardless. You have to be told to leave and refuse to leave in order for it to be trespassing. Even with that, the police won't just take your word for it. They too will tell them to leave before arresting them
@@briand5083 I think you missed the point of my comment. Ohio says that a sign must be clearly posted. The mall has no posted signs anywhere. That’s a difference in training. In the civilian world you’re correct. But as a cop you are taught that if someone gets the drop on you with a firearm, you are already dead, so you might as well roll the dice and try to defend yourself.
Depends on the situation. For a civilian being robbed or something than yeah but for a cop it’s go time. You’re already behind and gotta get in the fight. It’s their job.

Well, honestly, some do.
I did see a video where a female officer gave gatorade to some children whose mom was arrested which is good - I wouldn't give perps a bottle of Walmart water if I was a cop
I noticed that as well but I also noticed that some officers will carry a case of water, some who don't will offer up their own personal water, they do make sure they give it to the non-deserving criminal 🙄
