Wow great job guys. You sold me. I love you’re straight up no bs honestly. I’m in for one s as soon as I get my gt500 in the next week or two. Thank you. 👍
The JLT is true and an inexpensive gain for great hp. I have a 2020 GT500 and only with a JLT cold air and Lethal Performance resonator delete and no tune came in at 745.6hp to the rear wheels at mustang week this year. Thanks guys for a great product 👍.
Did you feel any difference while driving as well? I am planning on putting this on my 2021 GT500 I got last week...the car has 500 miles now and I have the intake being delivered tomorrow! How did the butt dyno feel 😀
@@HotRodsDFW honestly I think I put it on at around 500-1000 miles. I didn't start doing WOT pulls til after 1500 for safety of the engine so it was already there.
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anyone know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot the password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Asher Emanuel Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im trying it out now. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Good video. I had a JLT on my 04 Cobra and 100% accurate on the video comments on IAT2's under WOT. Wondering is the dash air fuel ratio accurate on these cars? Shows going into the mid 9's? thks
forcedair 92gt It’s dumping fuel to cool down the catalytic converter’s. It’s needs a tune. I bet we would get a 5%+ jump in fuel, econmany with a tune.
I can't see how just having the filter exposed to the hood is going to draw more air than the factory configuration. I mean you can see the filter media from the front of the car through the duct work. You can't get a more better design than that.
You mention 150 mph, everybody don’t drive at that speed. My concern with all the test done by after markets is, when you compare with factory sealed air boxes vs a open air filter. That would be apple to apple with the hood down and the same amount of air flow with the fans. Please show us the difference with yours vs the factory ram air. That’s all we’re asking.
@@JLTPERFORMANCE All you needed to do is remove the stock cover and run the dyno and compare that to the JLT Performance intake. This would shut up most of us that see and obvious difference in testing.
@@sufficetosay us and others have done it and while it picks up some power it no longer keeps heat out and cars have gone slower on track. No need to shut anyone up, we have more test results from 3rd party owners than any kit on the market Not to mention on all the fastest GT500S in the world and used by all the best shops and tuners. Sold out with 400 on BO and you want me to remove a lid and test it? How about spending several hours researching FB and TH-cam to read all the data from the shops who use JLT on this car? It's common sense, if the lids off and hood closed you have hot air.
@@JLTPERFORMANCE I have researched it thank you and I have determined that approximately 5hp is what I would gain from your intake. I don't care how many you have sold btw. Without closing the hood on your intake the results are skewed, period! I bet the factory box with the lid off would dyno just as high but you are right about heat... I like your intake but I don't think I want one now which is cool with so many sold and on backorder.
Dynojet Dyno's have the most exaggerated numbers. Not even close to accurate and for a tuner to believe it is a shame. I ran my 2021 GT500 bone stock in Virginia Beach on a Mustang Dyno. om a 55-60 degree day I put 629 rwhp and 592 rwtq town.
@@JLTPERFORMANCE yeah your comparing it with the stock intake with the top on take the top off and see what the difference is between the two we did and only 5 hp increase.
Exactly lid off will gain 5 and we gain a ton more. Also, the video show heat at speed is no different so the power gain is there no mater the MPH, but you never close the hood on a dyno with small fans. Great try 👍
@@JLTPERFORMANCE no, only 5 hp increase over stock intake with lid off. Run the stock intake with lid off hood open then do the same with your intake. Only 5hp increase over stock intake.
Well, I look forward to seeing your video. It sounds full of good information lol. You're late to the game if you're trying to discredit this video. Tons of other 3rd party videos back it up. Have a great day
waste of money, it its not closed in your being robbed. Heat soak with the hood closed in driving traffic makes this kit worthless. Don't waste your money.
You guys both don’t know that it seals against the hood of the car, do you? Lmao. Not advocating for or against it, but you neither clearly knew that. JLT should’ve said something. Foolish of them not saying that or doing a 60-130 test

This was an excellent video. Nice job pointing out the temps.

Take that monster down the 1/4 with a good tire you could crack nines
Perfect timing for future epa regulations

Show me a comparison with stock air box and filter with the lid off.
Great job 👏
What will make the supercharger whine noise?
I'd be interested to see how the intake affected AFR between stock and JLT. Those are nice cars, would be fun to run one against my father's vette.
The car has widebands and AF is adjusted by the computer and the same. Power is from less restriction and that = boost.
Awesome video ........ Thanks so much for your continued content ......... ;-)
So just the JLT intake? No tune?
Exactly as it shows in the video
Nice gains. Have you updated the maf calibration or the gains with stock tune?
No MAF = No tune required
Nothing really matters when the hood is up for the entire dyno session. None of these results are valid.
I can't see how just having the filter exposed to the hood is going to draw more air than the factory configuration. I mean you can see the filter media from the front of the car through the duct work. You can't get a more better design than that.
It's more the design and size of the tube PLUS a better flowing filter. Piles of 3rd party videos showing the same results.

1 the factory box on the GT500 is not sealed
2 you would need a dyno cell where airflow equals tire speed.
I also mention lower speed as well. The video shows underhood temps at lower speeds as well.

Does this intake work with the VMP throttle body?
That gas gauge
Simple question; what is the mct stands for
Manifold Charge Temp. Basically IAT2.

@James Thomas Jr you have the right idea but your wrong in this case man. You are gonna want a open air element with this type of setup.
