Sky Forged Gaming - neither of these cars gets smoked by a GTR fanboy let me lay down some facts for your small brain, GT500 1/4 in 10.6 the C8 in 11.4 the GTR ties with the C8 down the 1/4. And on the track GT350R already beat the GTR GT500 just destroys it I’m sure. As far as the C8 If it doesn’t tie I’m sure it’s faster than the GTR. On most tracks. Gtr is only better to 60 that’s it

In 1967 the 500 did NOT say Ford or Mustang anywhere on the car or the title. They were branded Shelby American stamped on the Frame and on the Title, With an Authentic Carol Shelby Autograph on the Firewall. The 69 Shelby GT500 didnt ever live up the the Shelbly name. At the end of the day, the Mustang was never meant to compete with the Vette. Respect where respect is due. That Vette is a marvel of engineering. The Mustang is amazing in its own way. As a gear head, we should be so lucky that such cars exist in our lifetime. Before long, combustion engines will be obsolete to make way for our Tesla Roadster overlords. Electrohydraulic shift mechanism = The shifting is made directly by an electric component insted of using the differance in pressure to make a shift .It's much more precise and faster. You can even program it to burn the clutch so slowly that the driver would not notice if you want to.
Energy-efficient = need less electricity to work
low-leak solenoids = less loss of pressure wen activating , thus it's even faster and more precise.
TL;DR : it's faster and more programable than normal DCT.

I'd also like to see a Viper ACR reviewed as well. Would make for some great comparisons.

You realized that gt500 wasn't the track pack one, right? The track pack tied with a gt2rs or gt3rs

Great work guys on the racing. Also great work to you camera men. You guys also do a great job to capture the fun and bring it to my phone. Thank you so much!

Great job, guys! Those two cars are incredible! As a Porsche owner, I’d like to see some 992 Carrera S, GT3 and Turbo competing too. And...as a tuned Corvette C6 Z06 owner, I hope that GM think hard about the C8 next models. I mean, it would be great if the new Z06 is kept with a higher rpm NA engine and prepped for track work to battle against the likes of GT3 RS, AMG GTR and R8 V10 Plus and leave the HP wars for the ZR1 an Zora models!

This comment aged well. I bet you’re thrilled about the NA flat-plane 5.5L. I know I am. Too bad it’s not a Corvette #notmycorvette #shouldvenameditzora
