I can't believe so many people have tried this version and I've never heard of it. My family made a very unhealthy version 😆 combine milk, sugar, cocoa, vanilla (can skip if none on hand), & oats in pan. Heat on stove to cook oats down, then mix in peanut butter. They were amazing but so sweet. Funny enough, I never really cared for recess cups. Might have to try this version.

My 10 yr old is type 1 diabetic. I found a keto oatmeal, and a sugar free monk fruit maple syrup. I used that instead. Made with coconut flakes and crushed nuts. 2 carbs per serving. So mine are very low in Carbs. Thank you so much for these recipes❤

@@sn6484 you shouldn't need measurements. The ability to cook is the ability to estimate amounts and cooking time (not applicable here). You can also guess ratios by looking at the video. If you add a whole bag of almond flour and one small scoop of peanut butter, you did wrong.

Unless you mean something so WILDLY different from instant oatmeal that I've never heard of it They're *steamed* (cooked) and then rolled to get into the shape you buy them in. You can't digest a lot of raw grains properly afaik, things like corn are an exception. And even then. Corn shits, ya don't get all the grains LMAO.

Omit the maple syrup and sub in the sugar-free sweetener of your choice (either in syrup form or powder; a powder will make the mixture less gooey). If you can find a sugar-free or lower-sugar chocolate that you like, use that. And for even better flavour, toast the oats first (takes about 10 minutes in the oven at 350F).

My dad used to make no-bake cookies w/ raisins in them (I loved raisins as a kid), I would absolutely love them. My dad was always our house's baker. Just to make it better, he'd make these stuff at like 11:00PM and we would eat it at breakfast in the morning. Good times.

Instructions:
Cups:
In a bowl mix together the oats, almond flour, peanut butter, syrup, vanilla and salt.
Transfer to a muffin pan lined with liners evenly almost 10 slots.
Flatten out as best as possible.
Freeze the tray for at least two hours.
Chocolate topping:
In a small pot over low heat melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter stirring constantly until smooth and melted.
Remove the tray from the freezer and drop 1-2 tbsp of chocolate on the tops of each and smooth it out flat.
Sprinkle with the flaky salt and freeze for another hour.
Store in the airtight container and store in the freezer.
