The captain underpants books were my childhood along with Ricky Ricotta's mighty robot. I'm actually surprised they never made that into a show or something.
Honestly this is just a really cute fun feel good movie. It’s not trying to be anything more than a wacky movie about a superhero wearing underpants. I’m glad it never got a sequel. It stands on its own.
[🧡]Why is this all just the ranking bits? Can't we have my favourite singular Schaff moments like "this is the greatest shrek-related media ever created" and "i FINALLY feel vindicated"?
I think he should upload his take on Strange Worlds (from his Disney ranking). Given that it’s the only Disney movie this decade he hasn’t made a video for. Also, The Captain Underpants Movie was really good!
Definitely one of the most underrated DreamWorks movies from the art style to the references to the books this movie is a chef's kiss to every captain underpants fan including me
I remeber growing up with not only Captain Underpants or Dog Man, but also some other random thingies like Wimpy Kid or Garfield and his lafsaga Truly Captain Underpants is the most underrated Dreamworks movie ever made, why not make an analysis of this movie plis Schaff?
It’s so weird going back to old Schaff where his voice was a lot more calm and his editors aren’t spamming a dozen meme images. Not even trying to sound mean it’s just something I noticed.
One of DreamWorks' most underrated films. I really love that they captured the character design so well.
In a world where adaptations of childhood favorites are usually a let down, it's nice to see Captain Underpants be the exception.
“Underpants, Underpants, I like Captain Underpants!”
Absolute gems of my childhood the movie was such a faithful adaptation
