- The Moment The FNAF Timeline BROKE
Hey everyone! In this video I talk about FNAF Theories and if the FNAF Timeline is solvable and some of my solutions for certain problems with the FNAF Timeline. This is a different type of video so your support would mean the world. I hope you enjoy :)

The first step in being a FNAF theorist is coming to terms with the fact that you will be doing this for the rest of your life with no final answer. The second step is that Phone Guy is the Purple Guy.
Honestly it never was the gameplay that kept people playing as much it was mostly the game's lorebits that was edging us from the truth.
I can't wait for that book about phone guy. He's been with the company since the beginning.
Listen, I accepted that first point about FNAF, and I thought it was as bad as it could get.
Then Hazbin officially came out-I appreciate the show for what it is, both as an indie project that smashed down walls just as FNAF has, and someone hauling together a story when you get half your episodes cut-and the lore drop that is “Hell _only_ modernized in the last seven years,” combined with a “this is why you don’t trust musical theater nerds and animators with what amounts to magical realism and science fiction via a religious allegory lens” has driven me _bonkers_ .
FNAF might have a broken timeline, and some piece of lore that are infuriating, or missing. Hazbin? Hazbin’s entire magic system has fallen apart because of a misunderstanding of how modern tech both works, and evolved. To the point where if you actually try to follow the logic given to you by the show, the _concept of time itself_ actually gets removed. Like… I do _not_ know how to fix that. They’ve handled it sort of-the fat-cat capitalists nightmare _is_ only in the Vee’s turf-but still. As much as we rib FNAF for Faz-Goo and Sea Bonnies, at least it’s wacky sci-fi nonsense that tries to justify itself, especially because Fazbear Inc (in all business incarnations) seems like it’s just a completely unhinged company, who _would_ and does, disregard all concept of safety and QA testing. I don’t think the fundamental “magic” of souls possessing wires and circuitry boards and who knows what else, has actually been broken by the lore. At least, not to the point of making me (someone with a degree in history and English/creative writing) want to hunt Scott/Steelwool down and apply for a job to just… make sure the research got done right and remained logical in the context of “all modern phones and WiFi and basically everything, functions off of radio waves and anyone with a brain knows that someone with complete control over that medium is going to be one of the most powerful things in the story, outside of a Deus Ex Machnia of a cheat code character.”
I’ll take FNAFs relative inconsistencies any day over the missing internal logic of other media.
NNO
phone guy is purple guy. i have seen it.
you know when a fandoms off the deep end when we start making theories about if theorizing is even possible
is this comment a theory? if it is im not sure i can get behind it.
René Descartes Moment
Reminds me of that uncrackable code that people spent so long trying to find the answer they started working out if it was even solvable to begin with
"We're reaching levels of FNAFdom that shouldn't be possible."
This is a level of meta that I dont think I can handle on a monday morning.
my theory: Scott started by making up the lore as he went, only to realize too late how screwed up his timeline was and is tricking the fans into making one for him.
im pretty sure scott had the lore in mind for the first game, but since it got popular scott had too add on more because he didnt know it was going to be this popular, and had to add on more lore for the next game and the next since it was so sudden
Not just regarding the timeline, but also HUGE chunks of the lore. Like Cassidy being the Vengeful Spirit, he just throws random stuff out there and waits for theorists to combine them for him. Then he either goes with the most popular theory to pretend it's exactly what he had planned, or debunks it to pretend the actual explanation is far more complex and mysterious.
Hell he changed the lore between teasers
Remember the 87 code
The first game took inspiration from that chuck e cheese murder irl for sure, with some extra bits mixed in to give it more life. Scott never expected it to get popular, and there wasn’t much deeper lore written. FNaF 2 was where he started to expand and write some proper lore, followed by FNaF 3, with the end goal of revealing after FNaF 4 that all the games have been the twisted dreams of a bedridden child with serious mental issues. Dream theory was true at the start.
Due to the popularity of the games and the bad reaction to dream theory as it started to be proposed, he had to course correct and make everything not just dreams. Which created additional issues.
@@jmurray1110more of a red herring I think
I don’t even think that Scott knows wtf is happening anymore 💀
i think he has ideas at this point. they are just very very far off.
I have a theory that this whole series can be solved when you take religion into account. Scott is a devout Christian and after reading the books, I'm pretty sure God plays a role in this series. The amount of times where a character goes to a pastor to talk about whats happening, is a little much. Souls, are very important in the fnaf lore and, I think William is stuck in some hell of his own creation, where he is punished to live the murders he committed every single day. I kinda feel like Scott is pulling a Butch Hartman on us.
@@BenjaminBox if Hell is the fnaf universe then that’s a pretty good motivator to get to heaven 😂
@@BenjaminBox i mean UCN is technically just springtrap/ William afton in his own hell reliving everything in a constant loop
@@ParanoidHunters yea, I also kinda think he had to many ideas over the years, wich lead to the story’s being a little spread out and complicated. Also think it gets hard over time to constantly continue one storyline without adding new and out of the pocket stuff. No matter what I’m always open for it 🤷♀️❗️
I sincerely think Scott should work with Steel Wool to remake the first four/five games and release them as a "FNAF Classics Remastered" collection, changing and/or removing every piece of lore that has been retconned or turned irrelevant over the years. A version of those games that is actually made with the current story in mind, *knowing* they won't be the final games (cough, FNAF 3 and 4, cough). Either that or just give us a plain list of details that don't matter or aren't canon anymore. Now that the series presumably has a better story direction than just Scott building one game on top of the other, not even knowing when the series is supposed to end, we really need those old weeds removed already.
Would be kinda nice but not sure they would sell well as just being better versions of the originals and VR versions.
@@ParanoidHunters The games are simple enough that I don't think it'd cost much to remake them, and even then FNAF is still a money printer so I don't think it'd be a big problem to make a small side project at a loss. FNAF 6 and UCN are both free, for example.
Yea but there’s already rtx and 4k remakes like mods 💀
@@fewkeyfewkey5414 yea but it's not about mods or 4k remakes, I think this remastered version should strictly focus on cleaning the timeline and lore first and then any 4k graphics and whatnot
@@KKara268 alr now that’s fairly reasonable and something I can agree with
The fact that John can still find NEW things in old fnaf games and make connections I have never heard anyone else make before is insane to me 🤯
Maybe that's why Matpat leaves TH-cam.
@@eggburn3r how does that make sense?
@@somerandomdude8837 Dude, I've just said it, it's not very based. I've just think that Matpat is known for FNAF for most part and the recent are not as good as Fuhnuff ones and the idea blinked in my head to write this reply. But if you were to ask me seriously, I'll not said that.

John can easily play Josh's younger version in FNAF movies
Yes I’ve literally had this exact thought
Something something blow my whistle baby something
Idk how 300+ people are that cuz he really doesn’t. And a younger version? Come on be realistic
what everyone can collectively agree on is that Scott DEFINITELY changed the timeline and is currently trying to “fix” it with the new games. I believe he has a definite plan now for the timeline and excited to hopefully learn more of the origins!
The new games barely touch on the actual lore of the first few entries, outside of randomly throwing detail-wrenches backwards every so often; and considering the way the new lore is only getting more obtuse and stupid I doubt he learned any lessons whatsoever
@@dr.archaeopteryx5512 the old lore is kinda tuff to work with i think. were lucky he didn't just reboot it.
@@ParanoidHunters unlucky*
We've thought he has a definite plan for years. I enjoy this franchise a lot, but Scott very clearly makes his lore reactively instead of proactively. He pretty much does the opposite of the George R. R. Martin advice from that one video where he talks about fan theories.
Edit: George R. R. Martin, got him and Tolkien mixed up again, lol. Also reworded stuff a bit.
yes but that's what makes the franchise unique and long lasting, imagine if we solved 100% with perfect details and no margin of error everything in the story. It would be so boring this would have ended like at fnaf 3 at most.@@themc3140
With the way the timeline and lore seem to be jumping all over the place, I'm almost starting to believe in my own head canon that some of the games take part in different timelines.
That would be extremely lazy writing. Actually... Scott does that already. So maybe it could be true lol
dont watch the movie looper
I've honestly thought for a while that fnaf should've done something similar to Zelda/Fire Emblem, where each few games takes place in a different timeline/world, especially while scott was still making the games. That way, the series could go full-on Sci-Fi mode without effecting the more grounded entries (And getting lore through chuck e cheese-themed goosebumps books and mobile games with stuff like liberty chica would sting just a little less.)
I have a theory that this whole series can be solved when you take religion into account. Scott is a devout Christian and after reading the books, I'm pretty sure God plays a role in this series. I kinda feel like Scott is pulling a Butch Hartman on us.
I mean help wanted 1 said that the early fnaf games WERE IN UNIVERSE GAMES. If that is to be believed, you could count that as a seperate timeline.
Every time you make a theory it just turns my entire perception of this franchise upside down 💀
And I love it
@@deathmauler181 yea lol
John having a mental breakdown had me pondering my own mental stability
the game is real. wait...
something I like to remember people it's that all of this started because we were wondering who the hell would stay 5 nights after seing the murder animatronics, and then the random chance of the missing children poster made it all the more inticing even if Scott admitted it was just to spice things up. I think the value in fnaf is no longer in the games but in the community and dedication every single one of us puts into trying to make some sense of it, and coming up with different conclusions it's one of the best parts because it creates feedback, we inspire one another and together gather way more evidence than any single human could. I know there will always be some not so nice people in the community, but I think they can't stop the positive feedback different pointviews provide to the scene as a whole
i think the value comes from the games cause the community dies down with slow releases
The most epic "man talking to camera in his bedroom about haunted animatronics" video ever
Also something to note about that child, they wearing a shade of green very very close to the same exact shade of charlie's armband when she died. Could be coincidence, but the colors matching so closely is a bit suspect. Just a bit of potential supportive evidence. It also isn't the only time Charlie is associated with the color green.
Could be related to Happy Frog
That’s her brother. The one that killed William Afton and any poor sap that worn him in fnaf 3. Who will take names for himself. But lacks the skills to be William Afton himself.
Remember that in the frights books, Charlie defeated “William Afton” by comforting him. And “William Afton” was the one making Andrew a vengeful spirit against his supposed body in the room story. We’ve seen in the pit book, that if a rabbit imposter wanted to be William Afton, they could. While the real one is doing something else or trapped.
Man, William got to be rich as hell to recreate a whole neightborhood underground
He owns 2 bunkers one being a Giant laboratory and the other whole underground hause. Yea i don't think ditophobia is intended to be a explanation for fnaf 4. William is a co owner of freddys but i doubt that he has that kind of money to be able to do that.
The four animatronics in the closets are Minireenas, they appear in this level in Help Wanted. It could also be Nightmare Balloon Boy in one because Scott said that he’s the only Halloween character canon to Fnaf 4.

@@ParanoidHunters

Only way to solve it is to get rid of Security Breach.
OR... Hear me out...
The "Bunker" was an old Fallout Shelter and Afton never got around to filling it with the FunTime's Animatronics until later.
Makes sense why it would be so deep underground.
I came into the comments just for this point. not the video game Fallout, but the concept. 1983 is still the Cold War. the underground bunker could have been built anytime before that because underground bunkers were things being built since the nuclear weapons and nuclear war became a threat. Afton could have bought it, bought it and added on, or have it built himself in case of nuclear war then used it for FNAF stuff
I always found it weird how people assume he built it in the first place. I just always took for granted that he had a bunker under his house
@@vinwritten Closer, but not quite.
My personal opinion is that it's simply a Basement/Workshop of the Fredbear's location. They'd been there for years likely, they had to design and build the Animatronics SOMEWHERE, and the Parts and Service only seems to be more for Immediate Repairs/replacements, not so much an Animatronic Workshop.
It'd explain why there's presumably a Prototype Springlock, and why the location existed before 83, as for why it has Funtime-specific design elements? It was definitely Expanded outward, i think even Help Wanted implies it's been built out even FURTHER since Sister Location...
the bit w u sitting on the floor is gold btw
I agree. It also got me 😂

The concept of this video is why I have been salivating at the idea of the first 6 game getting remastered for past year
Depending on close you look at it, there are so many small inconsistencies, and plot holes to a point where the only way to clear everything up is to put it into a concise package and do a bit of spring cleaning

Just because the tokens say 1983 on them does not mean they are from 1983. It just is saying when the company itself was established. Those tokens almost certainly came years or decades later and that would explain why it has the FNAF 1 Freddie design
i agree. that coin is from 1983. not was only made in 1983. but then again these places only open for like a few weeks and shut down so eh?
@@ParanoidHunters >but then again these places only open for like a few weeks and shut down so eh?
Actually, that's only Sister Location, FNAF 2, and FNAF 3.
Fredbear's was likely successful and ran for several years, although we dont know the EXACT opening/closing dates (Could be 1983 due to the Bite and/or Charlie's death, or 1985 with the MCI).
The MCI Location (also FNAF 1's) ran for at least 2 years without incident before the MCI forced it to shut down.
FNAF 1's location likely ran for 5-ish years, i believe, from 1988 to 1993.
Sister Location never properly opened, but that's because William's Murder Robot murdered the wrong Child.
FNAF 2 was open for like 2 weeks or so? Then the DCI happens and it has to be shut down again for an Investigation.
FNAF 3 ALSO never properly opened, it burned down like a day or two before it was meant to :V
No info on how successful FNAF 2's Location was prior to it's Grand Re-opening in 1987, but odds are it probably opened/ran at a similar time to the 1985 location, possibly opening 1984 or even 1985 since it seems to be on a larger scale as a whole?
...of course, not a good thing when the contenders for longest-lived locations are Fredbear's (Whose lifespan is unknown) and FNAF 1 which was barely alive to begin with :V
i just pasted 4 minutes and i’m loving how chaotic this is, the fact u keep hinting little details, ur amazing john!!😂

1:58 The four dots in the closets are to help Scott know where Plushtrap is while testing the game. This can be seen in other debug menus for his other games. Why he didn't edit the dots out I have no idea but I think it was just a mistake he can not reverse now

@@decodedpost its a copy paste image
@@decodedpost The map of fnaf 4 is the fnaf 4 game files to keep track of all the robots on all the maps to game testing. That way you can see where they are and not guess if they are in the shadows all the time when developing.
@@Layanor It's not though. It's not a copy paste from the debug/cheat menu (shouldn't the same be for the bedroom map by that logic?), the map is completely different and the rest of the grey dots line up precicely with the remaining animatronic positions. It feels pretty damn deliberate
@@bootsdotexe ??? the 4 dots are where Plush Trap can go. With him in the center. Same image from the game files.
can modern franchises, who do this "ok, let's entirely change the lore" thing, just confirm multiverse? I'm sick and tired of plotholes and "you're the dumb one, it was planned all along hahaha" things.
>just confirm multiverse?
If you're talking about the books.
Scott already confirmed they're all in separate timelines.
As for the games? Honestly a decent chunk is just "we dont have the info we need, though we have an idea" or "The Community just takes a COMPLETE left turn at what's supposed to be a right turn".
Take Midnight Motorist:
Night Charlie died (Later that Night), Man associated with Gold and Purple driving a Purple Car seen in the FNAF 2 minigame (which is directly tied to another Minigame in 6, that's specifically Charlie, linked in two different ways), he comes home to a man on the couch telling him to leave someone alone, and that they've had it rough.
The child broke out of the window (again) and has run off to "that place" again.
Couch Guy likely being Henry (they're Coworkers, POSSIBLY even friends. They likely cover for eachother, especially if the lone child is being Difficult/needs to be watched)
Runaway obviously being Michael.
Except some theories are pitching that this is actually just a completely random family and that William smashed in the window and abducted a child in the middle of the night, for the MCI.
That the parent who went to investigate didnt say anything important, or notice the footprints, and that William LEFT the location in a costume just to abduct 1 child... during operating hours. Also that William i guess just teleported?
WHAT IF THE MAP WASN'T BUILT ALL AT THE SAME TIME? WHAT IF THE BUILDINGS IN GREY ARE OLDER AND THE ONES IN WHITE WERE BUILT LATER???
im unsure that the house is a lab. but if that is the case then who knows when it was made.
I thought the entire purpose of Afton's surveillance/scare methods was that Elizabeth got scooped and that he didn't intend for the same fate to happen to his younger son. Or am I missing something here? It seems to be strongly implied that she isn't alive during fnaf 4.
There is evidence for Charlie, CC or Elizabeth dying first. Cc is 100% killed in 1983 before the missing children incident in 1985. Charlie is also likely killed before the MCI as she helps them posses the animatronics and she was killed by someone (likely William) outside fredbears family diner (where cc died). Elizabeth seems to be dead in 1983 because of the empty bedroom, however we know she was killed by Circus Baby, which along with the other fun times was built to kidnap children to experiment on to learn about possession/remnent. And before CC dies, William has no motive to kidnap children, so unless he was always this monster (which is kinda poor storytelling) Baby, the murder weapon, can’t exist until at least Charlie possesses the puppet or CC is killed
@@DragonsDungeon Yeah, Elizabeth just not being talked about in FNAF 4 could just be that she was at their Mom's house (if William and her have divorced yet or not), at school/kindergarten (depending on how old she is), hanging out with friends etc. Also, we'll never know probably but I'd love to know the birth years of William, Michael, Crying Child and Elizabeth. It'd make things less confusing for me possibly.
@@DragonsDungeon >Elizabeth seems to be dead in 1983 because of the empty bedroom
This i honestly have HEAVY doubts about.
As others mentioned, could be out for the 2 days that CC is there if William Divorced (which DOES seem probable?), may also be the girl who looks eerily similar to Baby in FNAF 4 too.
How i see it anyways:
CC dies first at the hand of Henry's Robot, William gets upset at Henry (for not accepting blame for HIS machine killing William's son) and Michael (for literally shoving his son into a killer robot's mouth), William lets his emotions get the better of him and kills Charlie in an Opportunity Killing, coming home to Michael having run off to "that place" again during his grieving (probably after/before CC had died, although i dont feel "that place" is a Hospital, probably too far to walk/run considering they're in the woods...).
Some time between 1983 and 1987 FNAF 4 gameplay would take place (initially) for Michael, (as the punishment for repeatedly disobeying and running off), William notices Charlie haunting the Puppet and eventually attempts to recreate it in 1985, making plans for the (presumably 1986) Sister Location as he commits the MCI.
Elizabeth, a few years older but still young, gets vored by Elizabeth, William calls off the Funtime Project for the moment, and commits another round of killings in 1987
etc etc
At some point, William likely gains control of the basement under Fredbear's from Henry (likely where they both designed/built the first Animatronics/Springlocks, also explaining the unaccounted for "Other" design as a Workshop Prototype), and expands upon it.
Scott lost the plot years ago. Retconning, lying to his fans, refusing to answer questions.
His fans aren't ready to accept he has no idea what's going on anymore.
Damn the amount of times the fnaf timeline changed can trump the amount of times my dad hit me

I've actually been thinking something like your FNaF 4 theory for awhile now, but my version had the fnaf 4 crying child segments never be real the whole time, I've always been unsure about the logistics, your version kinda makes sense! good video
I think by this point, the only person(s) who know what the true timeline of events are is Scott and likely by extension, Steel Wool. They're the ones coming up with the games lore and events, and Scott himself is crafting a book series around what he envisions the world to be about. He's come up with so many ideas and plot points that it's become super convoluted. The details he wrote mean a bunch of different things to different people by this point, and he's definitely changed direction more than once with how he wanted things to go.
By the end of all this, when Cawthon draws a line in the sand and finally tells everyone the true series of events, the details will literally all be in place, and it will make sense for what he wanted to happen, but it is so complicated that those same official points in his timeline will also help prove someone else's.
There's like, four or five different timelines you could generate, and they could all be accurate or proven, but the one true timeline is one that only Cawthon knows and that will always be true.
Possibly Matpat since he retired
>and likely by extension, Steel Wool.
Oh they absolutely dont. Security Breach alone kinda proves it, since the devs admitted they have NO clue why the Sister Location room exists, but Scott wanted it put in :V

I love John's videos. In addition to him noticing things no one else does, he's also so friendly and won't push a theory he can shoot holes in as bulletproof. The fact that he bothers to scrutinize his own theories means they come out all the better.
Loved it! Thanks for making these videos. :) Also; can't wait for that timeline! (I CAN wait, but I'm excited is all I'm sayin') ;)
The beauty of five nights at Freddy’s, is the mystery. I don’t think we will ever get to a point where we can get a concrete timeline, but we can get close enough.
I love FNAF as a whole, but I will no doubt admit its lore is very complex and complicated. It is a good thing the newer games seem to try and tie up the lose ends of the old timeline, so we can finally move on.
I am excited for the next installment to Fnaf’s timeline, and I hope it won’t be convoluted.
Was gonna say this too, in fact, the games after fnaf 1 were made with theories in mind, especially fnaf 2, but scott said in his interview that fnaf 2 was a dark time for him, but fnaf 3 was supposed to fix that, and then he made fnaf 4 since people complained about the jumpscares in fnaf 3, so on and so forth.
I think there is a good story in it, but there are so many holes or plot points we don't know that makes it hard to figure out everything, and that's the point of this series, to never give us full answers unless needed
Even Scott admitted he was no genius when he made the story.

i really enjoy your videos every time john. can’t wait for ur timeline theory.

The problem with the theory that Afton was trying to replicate his son's life before his death is that Afton doesn't care about his family or friends, he only cares about himself and avoiding his own death at all costs.
Except, his son's soul lives on. Afton is OBSESSED with the idea of Remnant, and it's possible that he was replicating the experience of his son because of how his soul was able to live on. Afton would easily use his son 's death as an experiment for Remnant
Idk, I still like the theory of Afton punishing Michael/ experimenting with the nightmare animatronics. But like Matpat said, “it’s just a theory!”
your videos get more and more entertaining. i like this boost in quality and polishment. good job

I was wondering though if you had seen a video from Dual Process Theory - we solved fnaf and we're Not Kidding, its a good watch and would be a decent story wrapup too, thing is the story might have changed since we couldn't understand fnaf 4, so scott has been either trying us to get it, or after a while, said alright, just gonna troll all of them now
I genuinely don't think there's any way to tie this story together, and that's also why I genuinely wouldn't mind a full restart/reboot
They messed up by changing SBs story right before release when people guessed the story right, you can tell by the voice lines that weren’t used
Dude.. that Charlie, plushtrap, and the 4 closets thing was,,, behind cool!! I LOVE the way that you are able to make connections that I’ve never heard of before and make it make sense!! You’re doing a great job, keep it up!! 🫶🏻
Loving the new edits man, sounds silly but it really elevates the content.
Amazing! Best theory videos out there :)
I love this, because it really does make sense. Im planning to make my own fnaf timeline video eventually but in a way where i cosplay and tell the story in that way. As if its the characters I play telling the story from their pov!
i am so happy that you posted. you made my day!!
i loved the editing in this, btw great message!
Yeah I just want to have fun talking about theorys.
first off great video, I love watching your videos and I've learned a lot about FNAF from watching your videos. But honestly, I had no idea there was such a thing as illusion bulbs. That is a whole other level of crazy that Afton is using, and it makes sense that he would want to expand on the illusion tech.
I have a huge recommendation for u. i truly think this theory video has some ground breaking information that we haven’t thought about. it’s by Duel Princess Theory. they’re a brand new channel. but their first theory video is really good. i think the way i think about the timeline has completely changed.
This is literally a goated ass video. love ur stuff john!!
A very well thought out video John! :)
Great video as always nice work John
A nother marvelous theory! Do I need to say more? No. I can't.😊 Keep on doing awesome job Funaff!👏👏👏
Great video John. I like a lot of the arguments laid out here and I agree that the imaginary friend angle fits best with all of the evidence pieces we currently have (particularly given that the Fredbear plush speaks to us while William is on screen doing something else). But one other thought popped into my mind when that choice was laid out. A third possibility beyond either William or an imaginary friend. What if the voice in the plush is AI? I don’t believe that was the intention when the game was made obviously, but retroactively with where the series has gone could this have been something like the mimic that William had babysitting his kid? I haven’t thought this through at all given that it just popped in my head, but good for thought if you see this
in not even two minutes into the video and HOLY SHIT this is going way to fast. so far so good, love the vids man, keep it up
Love watching theories from FuNaff. Plushtrap could be a game rendition of Theodore, I can see all the theorists out here going insane, we've been going insane for years. It's nuts that it's been nearly ten years, can't wait to hear and watch more great theories!
This was wild and fun to watch.. this timeline is so screwy but its fun to comeup with theories all the same. Great video man!
I love the new editing style, John!
That was soooooo much packed into 12 minutes. Bravo 🎉
there’s a channel called “dual process theory” & they’re claiming they may have solved the fnaf lore, it’s very interesting & takes great viewing into some theories that I wouldn’t have thought ab!
you literally never fail in making my jaw drop
hes doing a great job
Happy you uploaded John :)
Excellent video, hats off to you
have you seen Dual Process Theory's video? It ties a lot of the pre-steelwool stuff in really nicely, looking at everything from the ground up. It also has a couple shakeups to basics, like the identity of Cassidy, which makes it lock together better compared to everything else. I think it's definitely worth looking at! I'm looking forward to seeing where they go with trying to knock together the post-steelwool story.
YESS, I came here after watching the whole video-essay. They put it in new perspective for sure.
@@thymii6946 Same!
I'm excited for your timeline, man :)
I might be forgetting something but why does the bunker have to be built in 1983 exactly? The monitors are for experiments that presumably happened years later in which Mike and some other kids were given hallucinogenic gas. Yes, Psychic Friend Fredbear is there, but he could also just... Be there? It coulda just been the plush in 1983 as a means for William to communicate with CC from afar, and then it was just kept in that room (built later) since that's a room William often used and there's probably some sentimental value to it.
john john there's a two hour long video that came out like a week ago about the fnaf lore and timeline (Dual Process Theory is the name of the channel) i highly recommend taking a look at it, i'd love to get your take on their ideas
Looking forward to your timeline for sure :)
It’s a nice day when fuhnaff uploads
Scawthon just wants chaos and just sit on his throne giving us drops of lore by the decade
I think he has a plan.
PLEASE tell me this isn't a coincidence that you uploaded this as the amazing timeline theory by the new channel Dual Process Theory is starting to gain traction! Or at least that you've heard of it? The big names in FNaF theorizing NEED to see it!
The little face you madee when all the pieces came together 3:49 is priceless! loool
bro you're so talented, the entire story is fascinating
2:08 The way I got shivers and instanly connected the dots when he said that. Such a great observation, I'm honestly mindblown. 🤯
Perfect. I agree with everything, good job!!
