I've been wanting to do this to my Nova for years. This video is incredibly helpful to me.Now i'm not afraid to try it.Thanks a lot for doing this video....
I just ordered and received my new bushings for my 72' but no instructions came with. It seems there are three sizes of bushings. Small med and large. I figured the small are for the radiator mounts but it known on the other two. By the way great video.
Sitting inside/outside doesn't have squat to do with rubber or poly bushings. Rubber is softer and doesn't last as long (rubber will dry rot just sitting there). Poly is a bit stiffer but lasts forever dang near. My nova sits inside but has poly everywhere I could get it. I want to make molds and cast my own poly parts like the hood and door bumpers.
Hey I don't have any bushing or bolts on my passenger side. And my end links are loose. I got the car as a roller. Should I be worried? I got a energy kit on the way
ss396rat I know didn't have any plans on driving it yet. The car just don't have any on one side. I figure something happened to the car or something. And how do you know the part that the bolt into is broken or not. I have a washer that moving around.
OH,,almost forgot one thing,,FIRST remove either the fender and inner fender as a unit or remove the inner fender,,,,FIRST,,Then its that easy. With the inner wheel well IN,,it's a total pain in the ass job,,take the fenderwell OUT!!
@@ss396rat Friend I have a doubt in the first front frames of the sub frame of my camaro 74, if the frame of the sub frame of the front and equal of the middle or he is but low, if you have any difernca of the games?
@@ss396rat thank you my 70 impala I haven't changed the body bushings they are original and now I hear below my feet on the drivers floor metal hitting metal and my car lop sided I'm going to change them out soon thank you for your response
James McKesson I got same car and replacing bushings, the nut is welded to the floor under the carpet, unfortunately if it is just spinning you’ll have to remove the carpet or find where the nut is, cut a small 1 inch line (not a hole) over top the nut and put a wrench inside the cut carpet and hold onto the nut like normal and then once tightened, lift the torn carpet insert silicone or a speed sew and hold carpet back down till dried, hope this helps
Great job. I've been looking for weeks trying to find a video like this. Now I was able to do my car. Thank u
Thank you for the video man

Free-Gold Gravel Guys for me the nut under the fire wall is spinning. I'm not sure I'd that's normal and if not what do I do to install a bolt. Thanks
Just use new bolts.
