So if i remove the tie rods and then spin my steering wheel lock to lock and then come back 1/2 of lock to lock my steering box should be centered and if everything is correct my steering linkage should measure up square, correct ? In other words there is a direct relationship between the steering box being centered and the steering linkage being square, right ?
I have a 72 ElCamino and im trying to get my dome light to work i changed the bulb and checked the fuse and changed the light switch...what else can i test

Maybe start by looking for the answer to that question somewhere other than a wheel alignment video !!!!!!
The chrome plated dome light fixture is grounding on your metal part of your roof. Very common. My chevelle had the same problem.
