As an owner of a classic car, this knowledge is greatly appreciated! Very few shops here know much about alignment on classic cars outside of toe.

So if i remove the tie rods and then spin my steering wheel lock to lock and then come back 1/2 of lock to lock my steering box should be centered and if everything is correct my steering linkage should measure up square, correct ? In other words there is a direct relationship between the steering box being centered and the steering linkage being square, right ?

Maybe start by looking for the answer to that question somewhere other than a wheel alignment video !!!!!!

The chrome plated dome light fixture is grounding on your metal part of your roof. Very common. My chevelle had the same problem.
