- An interesting interaction and question on Twitter has opened the possibility for new Sonic ports and remasters sooner rather than later. And its clear that the Sonic social team are listening and reporting on trends for games that are considered for release.

Unfortunately, I don't have Twitter so I can't share what I want on there, but I will do so here:
Adventure game remasters
Sonic 06 remaster (if they can buy project 06 from ChaosX)
Advance and Rush Trilogy remasters
And the Storybook game remasters
I would also add Unleashed & Generations, but like I commented in a previous video, SEGA has lost the license to those games, so they would have to be remade entirely if they want to re-release them, and I really don't want them doing that.

I think its more to do with the Havok engine, right? I heard rumours but nothing specific.
I'd think its likely harder to do Advance remasters, albeit I'd absolutely love them if they did appear.

I want:
A remake of Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, Sonic Heroes, and Shadow the Hedgehog.
A remaster of Sonic Unleashed.
A sequel to Sonic Adventure 2.
A major update to Sonic Forces that fixes pretty much everything wrong with the game. (So basically a whole new game.)
A port of every other Sonic game to PC. Even the bad ones.
Thats a big list! There is a cool Forces mod called 'Forces Re-imagined' which fixes a lot of issues, check that out!
I reckon a remaster of Unleashed is the most likely
@@mastertrainergaming I imagine it probably only was able to fix gameplay related issues. I want fixes to the story as well.
I also would like to see a lot of spin-off games that focus on other characters. Like, imagine Silver getting his own game like Shadow did.
I also REALLY want Surge to make an appearance in the games. Not just in IDW.

I would like a re-release of Sonic Heroes, Sonic Adventure 1&2 and the Sonic advanced trilogy. I would also like a re-release of more obscure sonic games like Knuckles Chaotix (Sega 32X) and Sonic pocket adventure (neo geo pocket), but I know that these games have a low probability to get re-released

I'd like a collection of the 7 GBA/DS platformers (Advance 1-3, Rush, Adventure, Colors, Lost World), or the first 7 (Advance 1-3, Battle, Pinball Party, Rush, Adventure).
People just say "Sonic Adventure 3" because it doesn't exist under that name and we don't have any definition for what it would be.
I think we'll get a picture of what an Adventure 3 would look like very soon...and by soon I mean DLC wave 3 for Frontiers.
@@mastertrainergaming You just did exactly the thing I have an issue with. "Adventure 3" is just a meaningless title given to "hypothetical future title Sonic fans set unrealistic expectations for.
If you want a game with Adventure in the name, then it's Unleashed - Japanese name "Sonic World Adventure".
If you want a game with multiple playstyles and converging stories, that's 06 and Forces.
If you want a sequel to one of the Adventure games, that's Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Sonic Battle.
The Adventure games were over 20 years ago. It's fine to let the name go and not tie it to an undefined myth.
@@wanderlustwarrior I get where you're coming from, but I was pretty much paraphrasing Kishimoto on Twitter. Adventure 3 (hub world, multiple characters, converging stories, momentum based 3D gameplay) seems to be an active goal, for Sonic Team and he has literally said they're testing out a concept for it in DLC 3. Thats what I was getting at.
I do agree that Sonic Adventure 3 would be a maddening, overhyped experience that could never live up to its name, and I'd be absolutely fine to never see Adventure 3 appear because I believe that no matter what happens, it will never live up to its name. How could it?
Like...I'd enjoy playing it if it comes close to the experience of 1 and 2. Absolutely. But the discourse surrounding it would be nauseating.

Hahaha, you know I'd genuinely welcome that. With that said, P-06 does exist.
Sonic adventure 1 and 2 should be a collection every generation hopefully both games on one cartridge with no sneaky download for the second game, I wouldn't touch it if that happened, plus my Dreamcast entered console heaven last year so I would be really hyped for this.
A Sonic Adventure collection would be really lovely actually. That would be lovely as a physical copy.

After Sonic origins and Colors ultimate, I don’t think we’re getting any remasters/ports anytime soon.
I can see them doing something this year. Sonic has momentum, and i can see them using ports/remasters to go for a once a year release schedule.
I hope to god they remaster the sonic adventure games, someone tell them to remaster the GBA games play and any other games not included in the collection like I don’t know Knuckles’ chaotix maybe oh and shadow the hedgehog and sonic 06😅 and sonic generations so it’s own-able on recent consoles not just PlayStation now….I mean PlayStation plus
There are so many good games that need to be more available and more accessible. Honestly, the Advance trilogy would rock on Switch.
