My biggest criticism for generations is why you have 2d areas as modern sonic. You’re already doing 2D stages with classic sonic so if completely contradicts the whole 2D/3D element of the game

True story here: Sonic Generations was the first video game I ever 100% completed and got all Xbox achievements on. I managed to collect every Xbox 360 achievement on the game back in 2013 when I was only 10 years old, and it was pretty much the game that kickstarted me to collect every achievement/trophy in video games. I’m currently going out of my way to 100% every single Sonic game before the new Sonic x Shadow Generations remake releases, as a symbolic way of neatly coming full circle. To finish my last Sonic game with the one I started with nearly 11 years ago

Personally I think the original Sonic 3 music felt out of place, but so did origins's. That's why I prefer the ROM hack Sonic 3 Complete's versions of the music. They use the Genesis soundfont so it doesn't sound out of place.

I personally have superstars (ps4 set - PS5 set obtained already), Forces (again, just the ps4 version set left), and unleashed. I’ve been casually viewing this sonic platinum series while I grind (like grinding golden badnicks and goal post mini game coins). It’s been fun speeding around with another speedy trophy nabber’ videos Edit: when I got the platinum for superstars (ps5), each final boss took me numerous hours each. Trip’ Fang final boss alone took me nearly 5 hours.

This platinum made me love unleashed even more (fuck eggmanland hotdog missions)

Gotta love how almost every action has a trophy. (Tbh, I didn't really grind for trophies, due to be having the Switch version.)

Yeah, I don’t care what SEGA says, Hyper Sonic and the Super Emeralds are canon. Mania made that pretty clear. (Also, I don’t care what anyone says, this is easily my favorite Sonic collection, one of my favorite collections ever, and easily the best official way to play the original four games as well as the best way to play them on consoles imo)

Kinda sad how the Xbox Live Arcade versions of the Classic Sonic games had more challenging and satisfying achievements to unlock than this platinum. I still vividly remember how fun it was to find the secret angel statue in Sonic CD’s Wacky Workbench which requires massive exploration and far off the beaten path

Theres no way they'd let a cool Sonic character like him to die. He may be trapped inside null space and maybe only he and eggman can find the way out, I meam he did give the order to create null space after all.

If you take the right path you can gat all 7 by the end of Hydro city Act 2. Angel Island has 4 between the two acts and there are 3 easy ones in Hydrocity. between acts 1 and 2

BTW the "New" music in Sonic 3 and Knuckles are shitty versions of the prototype music. Believe me when I say that the prototype music sounds better than the Sonic origins rearrangements
