Sonic Unleashed is gonna be a major pain if you ever go for it and thats for three reasons.
1. Collecting all the medals
2. Doing all the hotdog stand challenges
3. Speeding Ticket.

Fangs boss fight gives me a nightmare 😮
So glad I never need to touch it again tbh
The fact that I beat the fang fight in only 10 tries is crazy
It took me like 30 minutes give or take
I'm on that part I want to pass away 😭😭
After many hours and attempts I still can't pass this boss to proceed to the final boss
I find your Medal Maestro mistake really funny because I made the exact same mistake when getting all the achievements for this game LOL

I like how perfect your voice is, not to deep and with a humorous tone, when other people do platinum trophies they either just do subtitles (which I don't like) or there voice has the wrong pitch, don't get me wrong every style of video is fine but there's reasons why we don't subscribe to certain channels.

The dragon fight works like pretty much every other Sonic final boss with the ring management gimmick. Just so I know going forward.
The pauses between attacks are way way higher than other ones though, so the management part is much harder here.

Its a fairly tough plat. Not awful, but not the easiest.

I personally have superstars (ps4 set - PS5 set obtained already), Forces (again, just the ps4 version set left), and unleashed. I’ve been casually viewing this sonic platinum series while I grind (like grinding golden badnicks and goal post mini game coins).
It’s been fun speeding around with another speedy trophy nabber’ videos
Edit: when I got the platinum for superstars (ps5), each final boss took me numerous hours each. Trip’ Fang final boss alone took me nearly 5 hours.

In fangs boss I usually cheese it with super sonic so I don’t have to hear that awful part in the sound track

I HATED Fangs last boss fight in Tripps story! Who designed that!? He has about 3 diff one shot moves. But anyway love the videos keep it up!

The insta kill lasers actually being the easiest. That’s sad
@@agentclank8183 The part that kept geting me was the head bash, because the timing can be really tight, and as I put in the video, you can be bounced away from the platform and into a death pit with nothing you can do. Its a cheap boss.
@@mastertrainergaming I definitely agree, didn’t intend for my comment to sound snarky. Just found the insta kill lasers to be the easiest out of the dumb stuff in the boss. That headbash attack was annoying. I found the traps to be annoying. Even by finding the rhythm the phase lasts so long and takes too much time. It’s very tedious. For what it’s worth (maybe it was the editing) but it sounded like you had an easier time getting the trophies than I did.

Yeah, the traps were annoying but there is a pattern that you can adapt to over time. The headbash was just...random. The one shot lasers were easy once I realised how they move, they got me twice. But the whole fight took me a good hour or two, I really struggled with the final phase.
Golden Enemies were no where near as heard as I'd heard, I gotta say.

Btw, if you’re considering getting as many Sonic platinum trophies as you can. I know that Xbox doesn’t have “platinum” trophies. But I still recommend playing Sonic Unleashed and getting all achievements on an Xbox if you can with FPS Boost.
Reason: I recently went back and got the platinum trophy for Sonic Unleashed on PS3 and it was awful. Adabat Day hotdog missions were almost as bad as Eggmanland since the Framerate drops so low that you can’t react to obstacles. It’s still doable, but I strongly advise against it. Adabat took me about 3 hours of grinding, about the same amount of time that Eggmanland took. Don’t torture yourself if you can help it lol

I have plans to use an Xbox for a few things, especially since there are titles out there that dont have trophies on PS3 but do on Xbox 360. And thats really great information about Sonic Unleashed, I've heard the PS3 version is pretty poorly optimised. I've still gotta try for that platinum no matter what, but I'll definitely keep my eyes out when it comes to those levels!

Fangs fight was my favorite part in the game I just love challenges
Oh i love a challenge too, I just like a well made one. Neither of his fights in this game felt like they were made to the same standard as other Sonic bosses we've encountered.

Fang is basically hard mode and I take that every day over manias and sonic 2s final boss who I despise both

Maybe I just liked the change of pace for once I never thought the fight was unfair memorizing the patterns and getting faster and faster was really fun to me
The only trophy im missing in this game is the gold medals funny enough mostly because of the last one you did

You can go super when the boss fight starts
As long as you've got the rings to do so. If you've burnt yourself down to under 50 and aren't expecting it, you cant reactivate the super. Its a bit silly.

seems like this game doesn't know if it wants to be easy or incredibly difficult
like seriously, how is a child supposed to beat some of these?
The level design is absolutely fine, a little gimmick heavy in places but nothing that egregious. The boss design is mostly unbalanced and unoptimized as hell, and relies heavily on Emerald Powers to be beatable in reasonable timeframes.

if you enter a "chaos emerald" area in two-player mode, the game will automatically switch players every few seconds!

i gave up on this platinum. it was so tedious and boring, i couldn't stomach it.

Dang. Is the console version just super buggy? I played on PC and experienced no questionable deaths, so my enjoyment of this game was pretty solid throughout.
I wouldnt claim this game is super buggy at all, I encountered a few but then I do in most games as well
@@mastertrainergaming I get ya. Ya kinda got me curious enough to look into it myself now. A quick search reveals that the console versions are supposedly buggier and less stable. It's kinda hard for me to tell exactly what they're talking about or experiencing though. Sonic's had this dumb stigma ever since 2006 that lets people be as vague and critical as possible when it comes to the quality of the games and the experiences, so a lot of folks just say "it's bad" and everybody else laughs and agrees.
@@psycholuigiman That stigma is the worst. 06 was a mess of a game, no doubt. But nothing has been near that bad since.
Incidentally, have you seen Chaomix's new video? Really talks about this topic in detail.
@@mastertrainergaming I actually just watched that since you brought it to my attention. Oh man. Hit the nail on the head. I'm so glad I had found ClementJ64 back in those days to show me an honest look at a lot of the games I had written off as just bad Sonic games. Dude really helped me realize the difference between something as bad as 06 and something kinda mediocre like Forces.
The bugginess mainly comes from the Multiplayer, but people overexaggerate and act like it extends to Single Player as well when it doesn’t
