@@RodimusPrimal can you devote a topic to that particular episode because for some strange reason the animation seems to be some sort of toy advertisement and season 3 had horrendous animation particularly that infamous episode where Autobots and Decepticons went to that musical planet and sizes and colors of the robots were offscale

I've always liked the idea of Trypticon becoming the Nemesis, it just makes sense to me I don't know why.
Its probably the color-scheme, and the fact that Omega already turned into the Ark.
Spaceships turning into Giant robots is such a stupid, yet such a reticulesly awesome concept, that only the TF franchise could conceive it.
We need this concept to return, ever since the let-down of Flying Mind.
They just revealed The Ark as a new Titan Class transformer, now Trypticon as the Nemesis makes more sense.

Trypticon was always my favorite titan. I feel like he's the coolest and most threatening of all of them. Especially his G1 animation model, which lacked any visible eyes, making him out to be an killing machine.
Him and Metroplex were both cool to me as they weren't combiners interesting enough.

Yes, unfortunately they release Titan Class in very small quantities, with most of them sold out quickly and those that remain getting overpriced.

As both a fan of both the Godzilla franchise and the Transformers franchise, I would go absolutely insane if a crossover between the two became a reality (if they actually focus on the kaiju and the robots).
Imagine Metroplex facing off against Mecha Godzilla and Trypticon against Godzilla and King Kong at the same time
I've always loved the idea of Trypticon being the Nemesis like he was in WFC, kind of for the same reason as Omega being the Ark in TFA. I mean on a planet where its population can transform into vehicles, sure its ships should be also be able to transform, right? Anyway, awesome video!

I've never been a huge fan of IDW's treatment of the Transformers, but I HIGHLY recommend their Autocracy/Monstrosity/Primacy trilogy that Rodimus spoke of. For my money, it's the greatest characterization and usage that Trypticon and Metroplex have ever had. While there is much prose, it would make a far grander animated series than some of the more recent efforts on the Transformers' behalf.
That's because the Autocracy Trilogy was done by Chris Metzen and FLINT DILLE!

I like the the align version of Trypticon.
G1 is better. He wasn't left to only be a warship. Aligned at least had a good boss battle in a game though.

So, Tripticon pretty much became the Deception megazord. While metroplex was the auto bot megazord. At least until the combiner’s were introduced.

Isn't Trypticon like ten or twenty times taller than Godzilla? Might be a good reason as to why we never see them in the same movie.
This was a monster of an episode. Absolutely amazing. Had all the good stuff I love Transformers and Godzilla 👍.
Love the idea of the japanese Legends manga turning Full Tilt into Trypticon's black box, as long as he survives Trypticon will be inmortal, unlike the other Titans. This retconned ability doesn't explain what happens with his spark, I have the theory that Trypticon and Full Tilt are actually a Duocon with split personality, with the most wild controlling the gigantic body and the other the car body.
Well, yea, funny enough this fixs the origin story problem. And whats even funnier, is that how well stories that Tripricon took part in other continuetis, fit in with his Origin.
And as for crossover idea..... ARE YOU KIDDING!? That, would been EPICK 😆.

To see Optimus Prime regain his power master functionality and then merge with one of the robots from Pacific Rim, can make a movie with that in mind.
I managed to get an original Trypticon in nice condition when I was collecting G1. I never managed to get a Metroplex, though I wanted one. I wasn't interested in Scorponok and Fortress Maximus, or most of the 87 stuff.
The motorized function is awesome.
And wow that new version of Trypticon is HUGE to be towering over the original like that!
Yep, I always thought of Trypticon as like Transformers' version of Mecha Godzilla. A crossover would be epic, but who knows if it would ever happen. I loved the Godzilla roar and music you used, haha.
I was never a fan of the Everybody Loves Raymond show, but it was pretty amusing when I found out Brad Garret voiced Trypticon.
Wow, I had no idea that Transformers Prime shared continuity with videogames or that Nemesis was Trypticon. I never thought of the Decepticons' ship from G1 being rebuilt into Trypticon but maybe it is possible. Hmm.
Call of the Primitives is a pretty crazy and awesome episode and might be worthy of a video itself.

Problem being, the only incarnation of Godzilla big enough to face Trypticon is Godzilla Earth... and its timeline has been abandoned since the disastrous performance of the accompaning Netflix trilogy.

That's not really far- Marvel Godzilla took a hit from Thor who has universal to multi-versal feats, even the smallest Godzilla's could beat Trypitcon. Not saying Trpitcon couldn't beat any version, he could beat quite a lot of them, but most ot the movies are either star to back hole level; Hesei, destroy all monsters, Godzilla earth, Marvel Godzilla, Hell Godzilla stands a chance (Trpitcon might win.) Trypitcon still gonna beat the shit out of a lot of Godzilla's though
That sean of Omega Supreme and Trypticon's original toys colliding with one another makes it look like there fighting. And seeing them fight in the War For Cybertron credits makes me wanna see a fight between those two rather than pare Trypee and Metroplex or Fortress Maximes. I wish we saw that in the Titans Return cartoon. Guardian vs Titan. The most badass battle of guient Transformers ever.

Epic look at Trypticon RodimusPrimal!!!!! I had no idea Trypticon had conflicting origin stories, until the manga packaged with his Takara Legends figure was released, tying together the events of the G1 series, including Scramble City. Thank you for this insightful look at the Decepticon Titan.

Trypticon was the largest of the titans on the Transformers. He was misused in the g1 cartoon he should have been way more of a threat. He should have beat metroplex easy. The titans return one should have been taller than max and metro
I always found Trypticon to be awkward. Extremely powerful, but awkward. Loved him in the War for Cybertron Video Game though.
i bit the bullet and got me a Kingdom Megatron (BW). Not as big as the original, which is good. That whole thing about the Decepticons' second spaceship/undersea base becoming Trypticon (initially) kinda weirdly ...makes sense? I always wondered what happened to it. I don't suppose there's any old/early script from something like TFTM talking about it... :(

In at least one pre-movie episode, Megatron stated that his desire was the conquest of the UNIVERSE.
Largest ones I had was Metroplex and Omega Supreme.
I wanted Trypticon SO bad as a kid but my parents said no as he was too expensive. Now that I'm an adult, I'm trying to work up the nerve to buy him but he's even MORE expensive then when I was a kid.

Great video of one of my favourite Decepticons! Thank you! Two things occur to me. Firstly, I know any discussion of scale in Transformers is rendered pretty much moot as soon as it's brought up, but I reckon Trypticon would be able to pick up Godzilla and pet him like a kitten, if he felt inclined to it. One of my Biggest Dreams is to Write / Direct a Crossover between Pokémon and Transformers with a potential cameo of Godzilla. But what you said at 0:15 conformed to me that I should start with a Fanfiction first, but even if it becomes Extremely Popular, it still might not even happen despite the demand. Marvel comics got a lot of things wrong with Transformers.
Nick Fury does refer to Godzilla not by name but as a 'big, green, fire-snorting lizard' in Transformers #3 so technically Godzilla does exist on both Earth 91274 /120185 so a fight between Godzilla and Trypticon might not have been out of the question back then..
