Wreck-Gar is definitely funnier as an adult. The TV talk went over my head when I was little.
as a kid it was quite funny. a tv head could have a good laugh listening to him insert lines from other IP's like Star Trek, etc.

As a child, "yoga meditation"pose-sat, on the border of "safe" eye distance & "blinding," in front of the tv for supervision, I fortunately or unfortunately got most of the quips, rallied off by who I thought was the "micro-machines" voice guy, @ the time. Having the television as my babysitter often allowed me to laugh & joke with adults at times. Earning me some adult fans, but also some unnecessarily concerned busy bodies, that were most often put in their place by my shocking cable-tv armed lexicon, or my awestruck adult fans. 🧘🏾👨🏾🎓🤷🏿

It's a neat callback and I'd argue that the voice still fits the character.

I love how one of Wreck-Gar's lines in Animated was "I am Wreck-Gar! I dare to be stupid!" or something along those lines as a direct reference to Weird Al's song from the 86 movie. That show was on POINT with its G1/Beast Wars references.

Wreck-gar and the junkions are funny and interesting concepts of rusted trash. Not only do they have the ability to fix themselves but live entirely without any possible harm, I wish we could see them more since, well they're basically the autobots second wave of army 🤷♂️. And I always laughed at animated wreck gar cause he was always fun to see on the small screen 😂.
I always loved the junkions, I found them rather interesting and funny. I have always hoped that Junkions would rejoin the mythos with a bigger part, but sadly this isn't the case.
Love Wreck-Gar rejoining in Animated, I had hoped that Junkion would be a part of the Cyber Planet hunt in TF Cybertron but nope forgotten.
They have so much potential
It because now a days everybody wants transformer to be dark and gritty which is sad cause G1, Bears wars and Animated proves this franchise don't always have to use that tone all the the time.
A garbage truck was the perfect alt-mode for Wreck-Gar, and having Weirld Al voice him but speaking in references to his own songs, and tv brodcasts would be perfect!
Animated Wreck Gar was fun, but he kind of gets lost in the shuffle in that show because it was more comedy driven.

Wreck Gar would say some of the funniest lines. One line that stands out to me was from the “ROOP, part 1 epsiode after Ultra Magnus infects him, he turns to Rodimus and says, “I’m a pepper, wouldn’t you like to be a pepper, too?”
Fun fact: The brutes with astrotrain's ion displacer in the war for cybertron game were named "junkheaps". It's unknown if that's their actual name or if it's a slur.
It's impossible to not love Wreck Gar
I just found the SS 86’ Wreck-Gar a few days ago. He’s easily the best toy the character has ever gotten in my opinion. I hope they retool the heck out of it to make more of the Junkions. I want an army of them!

There are two SS86 Junkions named Scrapheap and Junkheap.
A cool reinterpretation of the Junkios might be as a Huge Biker Gang leaded by Wreck-gar, they travel across the galaxy in search of treasuress, the parts and different stuff that they find helps them built voice boxes to talk and comunicatte in diffetent languages, they are hostile to whoever crosses their path, which lead to many battles with both autobots and decepticons, until they realize who are the good ones and the bad ones.
Have at least one of the Junkions sporting a pompadour hair and I'm sold.
As a kid my folks would say I watched to much TV because I could always recite commercial, tv shows and movies. Once I discovered Wreck-Gar I knew I was a human Junkion or a robot in disguise. Always love your videos man I rewatch them a lot. Keep us the excellent work!
Wreak-Gar is a very unique and interesting character. Would be nice to see him and the Junkions again.

Animated Wreck-Gar is my favorite version of Wreck-Gar because he is voiced by "Weird Al" Yankovic. "I am Wreck-Gar! I dare to be stupid!"

The upside of having a toy of Wreck-Gar or any other Junkion is if there's chipped paint, sloppy decals, stress marks, or chipping, it's no big problem because those still fit into the whole Junkion Aesthetic

I always loved that the Junkion ship was really hard for Unicron to damage not because it was tough but because they kept fixing it mid-battle. The Junkions repairing themselves during their fight scene also foreshadows their ability to repair Ultra Magnus. They're _really_ good at fixing things.
That's also my theory for why Optimus couldn't be repaired but Ultra Magnus could be. It took the Junkions' crazy talent for repairs to pull it off.

I definitely want to see more Junkions.
1) With limbs which can be gentlely removed and interchanged with one another to create new robots.
2) Who can combine like any other gesult mechanoid.
3) More forms then just motorcycles. Let's try for an Junkion triple changer (robot/vehicle/pile of trash). Or even a quad changer.

One of the most amusing things to come out of the Movie and Season 3 was the Junkions. Considering Hasbro's current policies on reusing molds we're likely to get at least one retooled Junkion the same way we got a Sweep from Scourge.
I really wish the live-action films had some real Junkions, the hyperdetailed artstyle would look awesome with Cybertronians assembled from scrap metal. The reboot that seems to be happening with those movies would be a great chance for a middle-ground between the more streamlined G1 design and a walking junkyard.

I would like to see various new junkion figures, whether they use the established names or not. There are various forms they could take, including a jeep or a 3-wheeled motorcycle.
Sweet video bro! Huge Junkion fan since the G1 movie. I like how Wreck-Gar had red optic lenses and no visible symbol, which left movie watchers initially wondering who they were and which side they were on. The 2021 figure it the best one yet! I wouldn't mind Nancy getting a 2021 toy, complete with the ability to be disassembled into pieces. What if she is a normal sized combiner...
It would be fun to bring Wreck-Gar and the Junkions back to add some TV talk comedy and their unique "culture" and combat styles

Honestly, SS86 Wreck Gar is one of my top 10 figures of 2021, and I bought a lot of figures.
He's awesome. I currently have two for one to ride the other and will do the same with Junkheap.

My favorite junkion is Junkyard the one with horns whom we see put his wheel shield back on and he is the only junkion other than Wreck-Gar to get more scenes in the movie, his's second being him and another junkion trying to patch up thier ship the Minnow via welding.

Wreck Garr is one for my favorite Characters! My favorite versions are the G1 and the Animated ones! They are just awesome! Wreck Garr´s friendly and Crazy demeanor demonstrates We can all Be Peppers!

Even though I am a huge fan of Monty Python and the rest of Eric Idle's work. I was sad he could not reprise his role of Wreck-Gar but I loved the fact Weird Al took the gig, making the circle complete since he sang "Dare to be stupid"
Especially in the movie, G1 Wreck-Gar's piecemeal way of speaking always was understandable just through context alone. The series version usually just relies on singular reference quotes, but at least they were appropriate to the situation.

I think it's funny concept would be for a modern-day is junkions they would still speak TV and radio as well speaking in Memes, Boomers, Zoomers, Redditors, anime, youtube poop and talking backwards like in those gmod animation. And I can't forget good old-fashioned gibberish.

This guy will always be one of the best autobots imo, he’s freaking hilarious and always steals the show.
Wreck-Gar and the Junkions have always been right up there with Grimlocl and the Dinobots for me. Not only would I love to see more of the Junkions, but I remember that as a child, I had a “video now” and it had an exclusive transformers featuring the minicons. I’d love to see them back at some point as well!
3:19 Very briefly during this scene, you can see a few female Junkions dancing with the others. One is clearly visible in the top left corner with light grey legs. Never noticed them the first twenty times I rewatched the movie!
If I don’t see these in the next Transformers movie after Rise of the Beasts I will be disappointed

The junkions are one of my favorite additions to the series in season three, for I too speak almost exclusively in tv quotes.
I picked up Scraphook and instantly fell in love with the Junkions entirely. I may have ordered all of the new ones...
