I was talking to this girl for a few months and we've gotten along well. She then pushed me away so I avoided her for a month. She then started coming back so I approached but she backed off again. She came back again by darting glances, watching me, being close to me. But I didn't approach. Now her eyes avoid me but sometimes her head turns back to me. What should I do? There are three stages in ghosting (ghosting is actually break up in disguise) you have to pass through these stages, I'm at the last phase myself now, it only gets easier to walk away as you go through these phases.
The first phase is Shock: you don't believe she's doing that to you after all u both have been thru and how you've invested in this relationship
Second Phase is denial: you refuse to accept the fact that she doesn't want you, that she's just using you. You see the signs clearly but you still won't believe it
The third Phase is called Acceptance phase; this is where you come to yourself (consciousness) and review all that's happening and see things for what they truly are and not what you want them to be and accept that you've been rejected and quit trying, then walk away
Story of my life right now.
I have one stage: If there is no response within a certain amt. of time....I write that shit off. Charge it to the game, hold onto my nuts and mentally move on.

I too was ghosted by a girl i fell in love with. My chest has been heavy with emotion and on a number of times i thought i would break down from the grief and loneliness that her absence has brought in my life but it was while watching this video that i truly broke down not because of how i was treated but because of how accurately Jessica has predicted my position..it made me realise that i wasn't the only one facing this and that how important it is to have self respect and control over your emotions. Much needed video and thank you so much jess.

I've come to realize that when you are a kind hearted person and actually care about people, that's when you will get ghosted, and it will happen consecutively. I've experienced this on many occasions and it continues to happen unexpectedly, but I've learned to deal with it, because people are attracted to toxic and negativity then the positive person who has so much to offer. It use to sting at first, but then you realize that it's naturally a habit for people to do, and all you can do is move on and delete the person from your mind permanently. We live in a convoluted society

Turns out I was a rebound but now I'm still in love with her.She was still talking to me but she is now ghosting me. B4 this my last gf of 10 yrs cheated so this is first girl in a very long time. I now have panic attacks and still love her.
It's almost like they can smell it on you if you are more than just a fling and they run for the hills....
Its not about revenge, its not about sending a message, its about peace of mind and giving yourself worth.

When they start creating ANY distance or disinterest I mirror the behaviours and move on.. I have seen and done it over decades after learning the hard way when younger and getting my head and heart broken. You learn after years when people take you for granted and are playing games. It takes time

It's difficult to give up on someone you had a connection with. Sure you can try other people but how many more heartbreaks is a person willing to risk to find another lover, who doesn't feel like a reward compared to the one you initially lost.

Wish I saw this earlier. I entered into a relationship with a lady, I was made to think guys had treated her bad so I decided to treat her so well, and in 3 days I was ghosted lol. Me being the good guy reached out and showed up at her house to find out what was going on. She told me to stop coming to her house unannounced and she's had enough trouble. Hours later she now responded to my old chats calling it quits and she's having family issues. I really have been putting people first before myself. I will find love again. Ghosting people is just immature. And as an adult, I don't want to waste my time with immature people. I met a girl who insisted I took her number, and after a few days I texted to see if she wanted to grab a drink with me . The message was "read" but she never replied. I just deleted her number and moved on. I never asked for her number in the first place. 🤷🏻
The amusing part is when they ghost you and continue to watch your socials and such. But the best thing you can do is just ignore them and focus on you. The person that ghosted you is still keeping track of you and they're just waiting for their chance to come back. The more distance you create between you and the person they think you are, the better off you'll be.

Yep I unfriend my ghost from Facebook but I know she’s probably looking at my profile. So I posted random things like how I don’t tolerate ghosting and I’ll dismiss immediately who does. I’m calling her out indirectly because if she reads it she’ll know it was aimed at her.

I've been through this pain. It hurts so bad. I was able to walk away after a long time. And she felt it in the end.
What went wrong is usually the big question that many have that have been ghosted by someone they genuinely like. The thing is if you tried to make things work and be the best person for them and they still ghosted you out of the blue then the problem is not you, IT'S THEM. If you reap ghosting, you shall sow ghosting!!! Ghosting is a very cowardly move. A real man or woman don't ghost because they face their problems like mature adults but children run away from their problems.

Damn this was amazing. Thank you. Was ghosted by my ex after 4 years in the relationship. I complained the lack of seeing her and her being overly busy to reply to texts and she then decided ghosting me was the best thing to do. Listen, it sucks and it’s been literally 48 hours but I’m ok. The hurt and shock turned into anger and now I’m like whatever. Her loss. Keep ya head up ladies and fellas. It gets better.

Be talked to her since and she’s said please wait for me yet she still treats me like I’m not a priority or a option so I’m healing and going on with my life . Thought she was the one and idk what happen to her but that’s not the woman I fell in love with
@@justme-so2en I’ll say this. If your partner doesn’t treat you like a priority after you mention your feelings to her or him then it’s time to move on. No one is perfect but never accept being an option than someone’s priority. I was feeling the same way and I made my case and instead of my ex saying hey I’m sorry she ghosted me. Totally fine too. I've learned that everyone has the right to behave how they desire. It's OK to be sad and upset when you're ghosted. But you can't resent that person. I agree it's disrespectful in some cases. I was dating a guy for weeks and he ghosted. The best action is to reconcile within yourself to avoid carrying that negativity into future relationships. 💗
Thank you Jess! I did called her 3 days after she ghosted, she apologized and asked that we be friends. It's been almost five weeks and I'm moving strong without her existence. By her ghosting me, it has boosted my confidence and self esteem

Great advice thank you! she was always talking to me everyday in person and we would walk, talk, smile, make eye contact then this week she acts like i don't exist, she won't even look in my direction or say hello even if we pass by, i had to just mirror her actions because i don't wanna be the onlyone making an effort, i never reached out to her or asked her why or whats wrong i just accepted it and i will continue to accept it and carry on as normal, but i just don't understand!

Thanks so Jessy...there's this colleague of mine at the work place that I like so much. She was always ghosting me...when I decided to ignore her, just in 3 days she started buying me groceries and I always made sure she never received even a common thank you from me...I'm really enjoying the moment.
Being ghosted by coworker hurts deeper, seeing them everyday when they pretend not to see you, sometimes she gives me glance from time to time. Even if that's a year I still can't fully get over her, thus this was the 1st and only who ever showed interest in me (love boomed me at the beginning, with her constantly approaching me, texting first everyday, etc.). Although she always come to shake a hand with me and say hi, that's all I get, then she avoids me. I do same to her, but obviously she doesn't give a fck about it. Well, maybe someday I will meet someone who will like me :D

Growing up i used to put too much stock in my mistakes (we all make some, small big etc) that i made but I realized the people i was around weren’t good for me so over time I realized that and forgave myself

Great tips! Getting ghosted - it’s part of the game, it comes with the territory, and there’s nothing you can do about it!
But you can reframe it - and start thinking of it as she doing you a favor. Why would you want to get involved with a person like that anyway?
She’s basically showing you her hand early as opposed to later on - when you have wasted all your time and energy on her!

Honestly I kind of feel like once she hasn't responded to you in 2 days I feel like she's already lost interest because if somebody really likes you they're going to keep the communication going especially if you see that they've been online a million times but they can't even respond to your message quite obviously lost interest and of course honesty is something people don't want to give you so you're never going to get any reason why they stopped talking to you but usually the odds are they found somebody else that fast or they were already talking to somebody else I've been ghosted a million times and honestly I've gotten to the point where I don't even want to try anymore cuz it just leads to nothing

So this person ghosted me. We were in serious and committed long term relationship. We never had a fight, never even had a disagreement. I always asked them how they felt and they always said things were good. It's just so jarring especially since we have history and no indicators anything was wrong. It's just so bizarre how anyone can behave like this. Every time I have been unsatisfied with a relationship I have formally ended things with respect and dignity. Regardless I can be confident that anyone who ghosts me has done me a favor because I don't to be associated with anyone who behaves in such a weak, ineffectual manner with such disregard.
