I would love to see you do a video about cleaning up one of these pre-built game builds. like deleting Japanese titles or say all games for a console we don't care for? I personally like to be able to get rid of any games that has keywords in it like NFL or NBA or MLB.lol.

Just one little thing you maybe could add in future videos: a short clip (some seconds) of the OS after booting the device, so we can see what you had to start to get into the emulation. Thanks again for your channel!
How does the performance of this compare to the HP elite desk 800 g2 mini you reviewed and tested as I've just purchased one of those? Keep up the great videos 👍👍
A few of my favourite 8 bit and 16 bit computers in there and thought it was good how there are consoles not available in the UK but included in the emulator, being accessible to all. A lot of duplicates and some systems were neglected with very few titles. It's likely that the integrated GPU inside the CPU hasn't gotten much memory allocated to it on the CMOS as it'd decrease the 8GB system memory too much. Increasing the RAM would make the CPU run about 30% faster. It's also likely that the CPU doesn't have turbo mode enabled in order to keep it cool due to it possibly having no fans. Some 2.5" HDDs tend to be 54,00 Rotations Per Minute as opposed to 72,000 RPM and if not used for a while they can power down, so could slow down the system and miss frames while the system waits for it (bottle neck), but that's more likely to be with modern gaming.
I really love your channel mate! Your content rules! Super helpful! I'm loving this shit outta these kin hank products I just ordered the 12 tb hard drive from Amazon this afternoon, thanks to your video.
I have this mini pc and I love it, I have been deleting games I dont play and adding ones I want, I mainly play ps2 which it emulates great, it will play some WII games ok and some are laggy, I like the 4 usb ports in the front too, I also have the retro shooter system and the gun works with most the light gun games on this system
I had 1 but the graphics glitched out so returned.... I only brought it for model 3 but when it ran, the games were over to the right not centred. Did you get this problem. How did you find the performance. Wiiu seemed good after changing to vulcan
Personally you can get up to PS2 mode to an extent, if giving this much I would just go for the Ryyzen 5 5600H mini PC with the Hyperbase 5 TB Hard drive
The concept is good really but c'mon looks like more than 60% duplicates. They should do a lot tighter, scaled back version without the duplicates and only few hacks. With much less titles they can drop the price making it more affordable. I don't see anyone going for duplicates lol. Lots of these game systems I never heard of but cool to discover tho maybe. I'd see this as a miss. Much better ones out there Great video, great job, man! 👍🏻👍🏻
Question for the video author: Do you have any recommendation for a set-top box (or miniPC) like this that have 500-1000 games that are heavily-curated for quality and no dupes? I'd rather have 500-1000 that are chosen for being the best games from each system, with box art or videos, and everything tested to ensure it all works right out of the box for a hassle-free experience.
I think the reason they're loaded with soo many duplicates is so that they can market the box As having a lot of games when it really doesn't. People will think they're getting actual 60,000 or a 100,000 games when half of them are usually duplicates😅. Thank God for your channel for letting us know before hand. It's clearly false advertising😢
The 14 different versions of Adventure aren't duplicates. Those that say "hack" in the title are hacks, homebrews, etc. They are different games, made by different people. When they're scraped, they pull the previews from the original games, so they look a like. Titles with [nesh] are also hacks.

Another outstanding video by the master gaming content creator !! Well done ! What would you purchase ? This mini PC or the Kinhank 12 TB hard drive you recently reviewed ? Great review! Originally I was under the impression that you did not need an actual PC to use this(plug and play). Is this a stand alone device or is a PC required? Otherwise I am about 99.9% sold on this. Also hoping Crazy Climber works…lol
In regards to your comments about duplicates; all "duplicates" have slight differences, including file names. You can't have 100% duplicate file names. They are named differently not to deceive people, but because there are differences. There are people that want specific versions, and there are people that want to collect all versions. There are no gross misrepresentations as you claim. Even 100 titles with various revisions is a drop in the bucket when there are 5000 titles in the collection. You can always go into the directory and blow away what you don't want. You can always go in and add what you do want. The directories are pretty self explanatory, especially on PC based game boxes.
I think you're one of the few that would want multiple versions of a game. I understand how revisions work however the average person doesn't care. I can respect your opinion though and I get what you're saying. I just believe the average person doesn't care or want them.
You are confusing Games with ROMs. There are no duplicate ROMs, and they are Chinese selling to the world. In the US, we likely only want US ROMs but people in Europe likely want European ROMs of the same title, same with Japan. Also, some hacks are for rendering an old 4:3 game to output a real 16:9 screen resolution. I think the front ends need to have a better organization system. They have a general collection option so a theme is flexible but they would be better served by having a title collection which could then group underneath it the Original Release, Regions, Betas, Ports, and Hacks with you being able to set the default to be the Regional Original Release to be the default at the top when you select the title. Also, a “Franchise” collection would also help to group annual release titles which fill the game list I.e. Madden Football. Anyways if it just said ROMs instead of games then there would be less confusion.

apparently this item cannot be shipped to california? or at least not with amazon. too bad, it looks nice.
That's strange idk why that would be
@@OfficialChaseBrogan no idea but i asked the seller on Amazon. Will let you know if I hear back from them. Amazon had a canned response that certain electronics being restricted but that doesn't make sense to me.
Anything out there for like $100-120?? Dang...If I wanted to pay almost $300 for something, I'd build a new PC...these mini things are way too expensive...
This is $200 on AliExpress
Are these things illegal to own or just to sell?
song name at 7:38
Can this be hooked up on the television?
Yes. It has hdmi
@@mknightstalkerx ok thank you
I bought one of these two months ago and I was adding games and I changed the themes and it started running in slow motion! I would definitely stay away from this! I think the program is set up where is if you delete stuff or change the themes it messes the system up! Thousands of duplicates! Stay far away! Appreciate your channel though!
Damn! Thanks man
@@AdamF-t1i definitely don't buy
This one of course can't be sent to where I live in California.
🤦♂️
Not for me. Way to many dupes. Would need to go through and delete a ton. You are right that for the $$$ you would expect it to be a cleaner build
Emulation is cool...but...does it Steam???
hello
Is it premium
No No No that audio lag
seems like a good selection of games however these type of devices and quite honestly all mini PCS pose some level of network security risk numerous mini PCS have been proven to ship with actual malware from their manufacturers and in a couple of cases we're talking level zero malware you'd be way better off buying a PC from a reputable brand and setting up a retro system yourself it's not that complicated and it's fun to learn things
Ya expensive for what it is
Pokemon?
Émulation sur n64.....pas terrible
Super console x pro was a disappoint. After a year it just broke down. So I don’t trust these guys.
Wow, my phone does better emulation
I noticed women always lose the fighting games with Retro 😏
This is just a 1tb sd card😂
Bro please help, I want the best Mini PC plug and play. I have watched so many videos that I'm totally lost. This video th-cam.com/video/IWWGGYBRZFE/w-d-xo.html is the unit I think I want but after clicking the link to buy, as far as I can see the description on the item does not mention preloaded games.
You would want to get yourself a game drive to connect over to one. If you youtube retro gaming guy game drive my reviews should pop right up. I typically tour through everything very closely so you'd be able to see in depth what each offers.
@@OfficialChaseBrogan Thank you very much! ill take a look at your other videos. But basically need the PC mentioned in this video then a preloaded hard drive right? If so do you have a video of best loaded HD so I can buy through your link?
