Quick question, I live in Phx Az and there’s not really a place that sells arcade games. What is better, console like this or a cabinet arcade to get a near perfect experience
Just curious. Is it possible to just be able to connect the HDD to the tv and play that way instead of using the media box? Or do i still need to connect it to a box in order to play?
@@RetroRalph That’s ok. Will figure it out. Definitely interested in the system mainly for the ps2 games. I have an arcade 1up emulator. It works ok. Wish I had shopped around a little more. Budget was an issue as well at the time. The company was called gameroom solutions out of Oklahoma. Customer service was not the greatest. Had a few issues. Lots of classic games promised on list were not on there. For example: No Mame for Classic Root Beer Tapper? Unable to switch aspect ratio for certain vertical games like Pac-Man for example. I get a full screen but would like to switch back and forth for aspect ratio. Any arcade cabinet emulator company recommendations? Thanks.
When I first saw Tatsunoko characters I became an instsnt fan! They remind me of Hanna Barbara Cartoons thay I used to watch on Cartoon Network as a kid. You remember BirdMan? Blue Falcon?
Did you find issues with GameCube games? None of mine work, and using standalone emulator doesn’t help either. Also couldn’t sign into Google Play-store to update anything, just kicked me back to the home screen.

I had this problem. I found that shutting down the system and unplugging it solved the problem. Just boot it back up and GameCube games should load up, mostly takes 2 attempts to go in which is weird though.
I have this issue also! But I have not been able to load the GameCube games at all. With the exception being one time Eternal Darkness loaded up briefly but I couldn’t get past the start screen because the controls wouldn’t work even after I followed the instructions to set them. But the main issue is the games won’t run again! It only started a GameCube game one time so far

Quick question, I live in Phx Az and there’s not really a place that sells arcade games. What is better, console like this or a cabinet arcade to get a near perfect experience
Can I play it offline and play it on TV?
Just curious. Is it possible to just be able to connect the HDD to the tv and play that way instead of using the media box? Or do i still need to connect it to a box in order to play?
Question what kind of TV will work for this console?? Will a regular 1080p tv work
Could you tell me which SSD you cloned this to, thanks
Do the PS1 games have background music on this console version? X1 - X4 the music is ripped from ps1 games
Retro Ralph rocks!!!
Pepper II on coleco, great game. The arcade version is good too
guys, what's the best 'safe' emulator console for games like aliens vs predator arcade, un squadron etc? thanks!
Game list uploaded but cannot move around to see the rest of the games listed in the file or the tabs up top. iPhone user here.
You might have to look at it on a PC, I can't do much about that, sorry man.
Thanks.
Can you use on a tv
Just set mine up, but it says no games found even with the HD plugged in?
Considering the switch is basically an undercloced Nvidia shield we really should be expecting more powerful android boxes at this point
I hit the pegasus icon and it says No games found...please help
I think wicked gamer might have had that problem. Is the hard drive connected correctly? If not, the games won’t show up.
I would love to see you do a video on the Starblade Arcade cabinet sometime. It was huge, it was loud, it was an experience.
Do you know if we can run original xbox games? Tutorial? 👀
No if you could it would be on there
Awesome video keep up the good work 💯
Can you add roms to it via usb or sd card?
Can two people actually play the multiplayer games together? I am really considering this. I want to be able to play it with my kids though.
Hey man could you try displaying this on a sd crt using a converter? Cant find anything on trying to do this and wondering what it would look like.
Did you set the controller to android mode? I didn’t have problems with the GameCube games that I tested. But I only tested a small subset of the games.
@@RetroRalph When I click on a gamecube game they don’t even start. It goes to the loading screen and then immediately back to main screen showing the games.
Just got the X5 pro but I can’t get Game Cube/Wii games to even open. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance
JUST GOT THIS, PRETTY AWESOME. HOWEVER 2 BIG ISSUES WITH PS2 GAMES. 1ST I CANNOT GET THE CONTROLLER TO WORK FOR THOSE GAMES. I WAS ABLE TO FIGURE OUT THE GAMECUBE CONTROLLER SET UP, THEY WERE IN THE PRINTED INSTRUCTIONS. BUT THE PS2 ONE IS NOT. ALSO, HOW THE HECK DO YOU GET THE FRAME RATE INFO OFF THE SCREEN WHILE YOU ARE PLAYING? ITS NOT TOO AWFUL, BUT A BIT ANNOYING. I WENT INTO THE SETTINGS, BUT DID NOT FIND ANYTHING TO REMOVE THAT. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT, THANKS!!
Did you put the controller into android mode?
Thank you for answering, I think so. I will check later when I can. So if I have it in Android mode, then what do I do? Just go to each option and press "A"? @@RetroRalph
@@RetroRalph been trying to use another controller in the ps2 emulator other then the gamesir t3 with no luck. I map buttons in controller port one and nothing. Any help would be great. tired ps4/5 xbox series x, 8bitduo controller and a 8bitduo adaptor no luck. Work in menus and that all .
Hey :) do you know if it's possible to remove the buttons on screen(Ps2 Emulator)??cause they are annoying :D
Do a video on the Tmnt arcade wrath of the mutants coming out next month for the consoles port from the 2017 raw thrills arcade game from nickelodeon
I got this device but none of my GameCube games will start up! Can anyone advise me on how to play them?
Do you think this would work if i was to add a wii u emulator then add wii u roms
Thanks for the look Into the sketchy side of gaming! Lol
Can I map this to my dual joystick bartop type arcade controller instead of the handheld that comes with the X5?
I would buy this one. Smokes the raspberry pi....PICK ANY OF THEM!!!
One question: Does silent hill 2 play well? Just bought one. Thanks for the great review.
Yup and upscaled.
And the SH2 remake is coming out in October!
how do you exit out of game you selected to switch to different game?
Do games like Scarface gta and true crimes work on the ps2 emulator?
Yes i want you to pass 16.000 games all-night long please 😂
Next time, 24 hour games list livestream... see how many people fall asleep.
This is definitely in the top 3 of best emulator for n64 and ps2
At minimum they should have included a cheap external enclosure for that drive: I think the N100 mini pc is a far better choice for value vs performance
Just curious, would that android box work on something like a arcade cabinet? That’s been modded, something like a one up arcade style? I’m more interested in if the controllers would port into that android Box well
You could buy an arcade controller that plugs into the usb ports and you would be good to go
Can't get MAME to respond to any controls. How do I fix this??
Did you set the controller to android mode like it says in the manual?
@RetroRalph I've tried that I got no change. When exactly do I do this? When I first boot up the system? The other consoles all seem to be working fine. it's just Mame that I'm getting no response from controller, and nothing to prompt when I plug in a mouse..
How do I add PS2 games on the device?
Can you add games to this?
You can, it shows you how to do it in the manual.
Please suggest the best retro games box that doesn't have repeated games, instead 95% of the retro games in the planet.
Nice video Chad- thank you
Chad? 🤷🏻♂️
Also how do you add games?
Does it have Psychic Detective for PS1
