    Lilie, i want to say that i have got band 7 in writing following through your tips ☺️. But unfortunately i didn't have time to practice for listening and reading. So i got less in them . I'm planning to write the test again . Thanks again for your channel ❤

      @@LilieIELTS Thanks a lot Lilie for the motivation. It means a lot to me 😭❤️. My sister was scolding me , telling I wasted money . I'll go through your message whenever I'll feel down . Thanks a lot dear. And I was shocked myself that I got band 7 , it motivated me more , because I practiced only 4 days . I really loved your page as it was precisely partitioned . I was overwhelmed seeing so many TH-cam channels and soooo many videos, but finally decided to only focus on your channel.
      In writing, i didn't write proper examples and was in doubt if my content was relevant or not . But I just went on giving explanation in broad sense. I got essay question like " Dealing environmental problems is responsibility of a International organisation itself rather than national governments, do you agree or disagree?" . Thanks for your motivation again , I'll practice more and update you 😘 God bless 🙏🏻

    Hi Lillie
    you have mentioned one paragraph should have one topic. but there are several band 9 structures where they told us to write two advantages in one paragraph and two disadvantages in another paragraph. Will it contradict the idea of one topic per paragraph?

    • @LilieIELTS
      @LilieIELTS  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it will. Better provide only one advantage and only one advantage unless the question uses the plural "advantages" and "disadvantages", such as this one: www.ieltsessaybank.com/some-people-spend-most-of-their-lives-living-close-to-where-they-were-born/

      @LilieIELTS  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think both are fine. You don't need to worry about it too much if you are going to take the academic test. They want to test our ability to develop our ideas so it's very unlikely that we get a question like that. The link I gave you is a general training question.

  • @maleemfaryad8399

    This is what I wrote. Can someone give me bands on all 4 criteria on this task I would be grateful.
    "Since the rise of digital technology, it has been a topic of discussion for its positive and negative effects. The younger generation, especially the children, are spending more and more time on their smart phones. In this essay I will explain different reasons of this increasing addiction and argue its effects on the development of the children.
    Smart phones are getting more and more popular among children because they can give them access to the world without even moving from their place through the internet. They can easily contact their friends, watch movies of their choice, and listen to their favorite music so they don’t even realize how much time they have spent just scrolling the screen of the smartphone. Parents also use smart phones to escape themselves from giving their attention to their children and they do not have time in busy life to spare some minutes.
    This much time spent on the smart phone is definitely causing negative effects on their development. Lack of physical activities not only damage their health but also their personality development, watching others’ ideal life on their phones make them feel sad and depressed which negatively affect their mental health and they get poor at social skills like how to interact with their friends and completely express themselves to others. The longer they spend on their smart phones, the worse their mental and physical health will become.
    In conclusion, although smart phones keep the children busy and parents free of their duty, they are not just affecting the physical health of the children but also affecting their mental health."

      It's because half of the questions is about positive/negative. However, the first half is also important. If you answer it as a positive/negative essay and give 2 main ideas to support your opinion without answering the cause question, it'll not receive a high score for task response.

    is this a solid 6.5??
    In today’s world, smartphones have became something very popular device by children regularly everyday. There are several reasons why children spend hours on their smartphones and I believe, this case has both positive and negative impacts on children.
    There are numerous reasons to state why do children use their smartphones more than usual. Firstly, as it is known, smartphones are reachable devices can get children’ attention with ease and when the children are used to spend time, they are more likely to become addictive. For example, most children are such a technological addictive user that, they do not even go out with their peers to play games at the street. The reason why is that, when childre are comfortable at playing games or surfing on the internet on smartphone, they find a virtual life to do whatever they wish.
    It would also be beneficial to talk about whether this case a positive or a negative development. I believe, smartphones have both positive and negative developments on children. On the one hand, smartphones can provide children for different kind of purposes such things as chance to do their homework or chance to have better education. As a result, smartphones play a huge role in children’ live and make their lives easier. On the other hand, smartphone can harm children by means of social development. The negative development that smartphones can do is, smartphones have a potential risk to restrict children’ physical activity and social skills. For instance, if the children spend most of their time at home by giving attention to smarthphones, they will not have enough time to go out and develop their social skills.
    To conclude, while it is argued that why children allocate most of their time on smarthpones and possible impacts on children, I believe, children benefit not only positive developments of smartphones, but also negative ones.

      @@LilieIELTS Yes. Had the word "wind" been a noun, your pronunciation would have been right. But as a verb, it pronounced like the past tense of "whine", which is "whined".

    is there no need to talk about the positive use of smartphones even though one is of the opinion that it negatively impacts kids?

    • @LilieIELTS
      @LilieIELTS  ปีที่แล้ว

      In that case, you don't need to talk about the positive side.
