i got my result today got (6) in writing. I hadn’t enough time to practice this particular section due to lack of time so in just 1 day i watched all of your videos related to writing,that's it neither i practice any writing neither i read any. You are incredible. Since I used your techniques in my mock exams, I realised the importance of techniques in Ielts. Indeed it is about testing your English level, but techniques are significant, especially in terms of writing and reading.
Although my reading skills were great, I could not get more than 6 or 6.5 in reading. After watching your videos(and Gareth of course), I got 7 and 7.5, which was amazing.

hey i just want to thank you for your helpful video. For some reasons, I had to rush my test so I only got a month to prepare. Because English is my second language, I was not confident at all. I only hoped for a 6, at most; but unexpectedly I got a 7( W:6.5, L:8, R:7, S:6.5) Had I not found your channel two weeks before the test, I doubt this would have happened. I don't think I can express how thankful I am now.

@@tejadasari985 I followed lilie’s tips in the video she shared for reading, I practiced a lot and also I did passage 3 first in 25 minutes, then passage 2 (20 minutes) and passage 3 in 12 minutes I had 3 minutes to check my answers

Got an overall of 7.5 (R:8, L:7.5, W:6.5 and S:7.5).
I would have scored 7 in writing but I wrote 350 words in task 2 and didn’t have time to finish task 1. 6.5 in writing still tells that I did a good job in task 2. I practiced every essay of yours. All thanks to you Lillie.

In detail, I got L:9, R:8, W:6.5 and S: 5.5. My speaking score was significantly lower than I thought, maybe the examiner graded my scores a bit harshly, it doesn't affect my overall so it alright.

Hello Lilie, hope to get reply from you, I have started watching your videos pertaining to writing task 1 and it is befitting time to mention that you are doing a marvelous work , helping a plethora of students and prospective candidates for IELTS examination. I never have had any confusion in your clear-cut explanation but I have a quick query in my mind & would be grateful for your elucidation.
Question: In one of your videos, you mentioned that irrelevant comparisons between two provided graphs, charts and tables must be avoided (a video in which one graph was demonstrating increase in the ownership of electrical appliances while other was illustrating reduction in the number of hours of household work per week) whereas, in another video (video of anthropology graduates from one university and anthropologists' salaries after 5 years of work) , you are relating the pie chart with table. It might be a silly question, but i really wanted to ask that how to differentiate exactly between the mixed charts (both given components of task are related) and the task in which there is no any relation exists between them to avoid irrelevant comparisons. Much obliged :)

Mam, I have a question relating to the listening and reading test. In real test exams, I wanted to write all the words in the capital but all of a sudden a curiosity spun in my head about Roman numbers and mcq questions. If I get something like these, i, ii, iii, or a, b, c, - can I write these things in capitals or do I have to keep them as they are?? In short, Should I only write words in the capital except for options?
can anyone tell me how does the word count works? Like [a, an, the, of, in......] does this also counts or what?
I got my test result yesterday and this was my second result, at first i was able to score 6 but finally with second attempt i scored 7 with L 7.5 W 7 R 6 and S 6.5.

You taught how to bultd a good progression(result), however, I forgot where it refers to. I mean by that, we had better write the result in the end of main body(for me), but does the result need to be refering to the first sentence of main body(topic sentence) or to the example?
1)Topic sentence
2)Explanation
3)Example
4)Result
4)- refers to the 1) or 3) ???
It could be in the example and be the result of the example, or covers the entire paragraph.

Congratulations! There are buttons on the side or bottom of the monitor...can't remember exactly where...But you can use those buttons to adjust brightness.

No, for some questions, it may be better to paraphrase the question statement and state both of the two main ideas instead of writing a background sentence and including only one main idea.
