This is the last video i saw one day before my exam. And you know what? i had this type in the exam. I scored 7.0 in writing although i was not able to finish my task 1 essay. You literally saved me in one of my darkest hours. Tbh, 2 weeks before the exam, i didn't know how to write a map or process and i found your channel. THANK YOU FOR EVERY THING ❤!

    1. intro
    2. body 1- 2 reasons or 2 problems
    3. body 2- 2 possible solutions
    4. conclusion
i have seen this format in many other channels where this format is told to a band 9 format.

I mean stating the main points immediately after paraphrasing the question. For instance, as you stated the the the two causes and solution immediately after you paraphrased the question

    Hey Lilie,

    Thanks for being so helpful!

    • @LilieIELTS
      @LilieIELTS  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

Great suggestion! I'll try to cover it in the next video. A good way to make sure you don't add a second topic is not to use words like moreover and further. If you use them, you're probably talking about something else rather than developing the existing idea.

I also feel exactly the same way when using these transition words. But, we can hardly find a model answer without these words in it. Also, not using them may make the paragraph seem underdeveloped. Please make a video on it.

I have another idea for this type of question in Task 2.
To be specific, in body paragraph 1 I will write Reason 1 + Solution 1, then I will write Reason 2 + Solution 2 in body paragraph 2.
Is this good or bad? Feel free to let me know your comment.

Your video was really helpful and thanks for that🫡..why you didn’t you give examples because the question is asking for relevant examples?? I would be very grateful if mam could clear my doubts..thank you😀

Hi, I did give examples. There is one in the second paragraph and another one in the third paragraph.

What about these types of questions?
It is becoming increasingly popular to have a year off between finishing school and going to the university? What are the advantages and disadvantages of this.
Ielts general training topic. Should we write 4 body paragraphs for these types of questions?
