Those pallet racks 😅 yeah. Eventually, I came up with a system... Lean end against the wall, but a beam real low to connect to other end. Now come back and do one at 5'. If you do the back side first, less ducking.
What's real fun is putting them up with a fork lift. Get em started on low beam. Platform, rails (on an angle), platform+ rail. Bring forks between the ends, climb up on the forks, hook up the back rail then front rail. Now the platform. Rails on an angle so they can fit between your end stands...

Your local habitat for humanity might be a place to take the windows. Suggestion- attach the shelving to the wall, near the top, with good strong lags. You might think about making a bridge between the two rack section at the top. It would give you another 8’ or so of storage.
Stay warm. Oh that’s right you’re going to CA!

I can second this. I used to work at a factory with some that were even larger.
I once saw a forklift driver misjudge putting a pallett up.
He had three shelves come down on the lift along with about 7,000 lbs of parts onto the lift. (the cage saved him but not his pants 😁)
Thankfully the legs of the rack and the top layer stayed put because of the legs were bolted to the floor.

Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable for sure.
Love your stacking shelf unit. Great for making space in the shop. The pallet jack will more than pay for itself. We used one all the time. Really handy tool. Good job on the shelf’s Zach.
Looking forward to the CA trip. Looking for all the great videos. Enjoy your trip.
Lots of snow up your way and bitter cold weather. Been there done that. Brrrrrrr!!!!!
Nice tractor rig for blowing or pushing snow. But moving snow does take time however you look at it.
Love your muffler shop. Thanks to the Larson family. Love your new muffler system. Should make a difference on your pickup. Let us know what you think.
About it I guess. Will be quiet now. Sorry I talk a lot. You all take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video.
    Thanks for everything.
    The Iowa farm boy.
Forgot. This video was before the frustration of the mower on the snow. Just thought I would tease you a bit Zach. That one will not be forgotten. Ya!!!!!!!

Zach: on your cold storage building, im curious why there isnt any big doors. Has always been that way or did there use to be doors on? Thank you. The lawn mower bit was really funny.

It has sliding doors but the rails are shitty and the doors don't slide well. We've had them fixed several times but those doors are so heavy they keep going bad so I just don't mess with them much

Build a little shed just for your lawn mower. Put the 5 windows in it so we can all see your lawn mower is safe and sound and sleep good at night.

Okey Zach! That's no problem driving backwards if you get a real decent tractor as a Valtra or a Huddig or a Lännen. They are all build with turn around seat and made in Nordic countries with also Real winters! Just a suggestion from a Real Viking. ;D

16:50 best part about having a loader with a blower on the back is you can push a bunch of snow with the loader and blow the snow back over that flows out from the sides of the bucket when you back up.
