It''s heartbreaking to see the devastating wildfires in NM & CA - just adding my prayer for the safety of all people & animals. Praying for replenishing rains and for the winds to die down.

The Ruidoso shelter was evacuated and all of the animals are safely in shelters in other New Mexico cities.

those don't exist. both were wildfires.
Swiss Chalet was an icon on the beautiful mountain going in and out of Ruidoso.
I stayed there several times.....

Wiped out the whole town of Laihina, 1000 children missing, residents were not allowed to leave the town, it was blocked off by local police. The burning was almost the same as here. I always go to Twitter and look up the town so I get the residents remarks as it is happening. It was horrifying.

That metal is called aluminum that melts at 1221 degrees Fahrenheit
Strange is it not, that almost every single burned out car from these supposed "WILDFIRES" all look to have burned in almost exactly the same manner. ie: Engine blocks completely melted/disintegrated, tyres completely gone, windsceens melted, door handles melted, trails of liquified silver on the bitumen. Yet the outer car body (roof, doors, panels) are all relatively in tact??? How is that even possible? Surely all cars burn differently and at different rates? ie: Dependent on the make and year model? Old vs New? Electric Vs Gas? Upholstery type? % of Plastic fittings? Windows open or closed? Position of vehicle etc...? Far too many of these incinerated vehicles, look like the fire started in the engine block!!!
@@MyFavouriteMartin1 Cars are pretty much all made with the same materials. The parts that are steel will remain because it takes a lot of heat to melt steel. Other materials burn at much lower temperatures. Aluminum will melt in a campfire or with a propane torch, not so with steel. If an engine block is made from an aluminum alloy, it will melt.

A car burns differently than a tree. Many trees have protective bark to endure a fire and simply do not burn as hot as a car or even a house, both of which contain plastics and different types of fuel, including gasoline and propane. Those create an incredible hot spots in a fire. So does the massing of cars and buildings as opposed to a tree.

Trees and especially pine trees are very resistant to fire because of the bark protecting the tree. And the needles also have a lot of moisture in them which helps to protect them.

I don't think you understand how fire storms work. Storm systems can develop out of the smoke, combined with strong winds the heat inside can be welding temperature. This is observable in most widespread wildfires. What sparked it is still up to debate (naturally lightning, but can be campfires and power lines)
Cars did not melt. Bodys are still fully intact. Only low temp Aluminum and Magniseum alloy wheels melt. Metal roofs on houses stayed intact too.
Obviously, this is a community of free-thinkers, critical thinking right-thinking sane conservatives and the DS hates that. They will be punished. Praying for those who lost homes and lives.

One reason Ruidoso was beautiful is because of all the trees and other combustible vegetation completely surrounding the town and even in between structures.

Most are steel which takes a furnace to melt. Steel weakens in a fire and collapses, but it doesn't melt. It it is an aluminum roof, it will melt. Ever see a collapsed steel building that had a fire in it?

@@christinavance1128 I have seen countless videos showing trees still standing as well alive as trees blackened by fire. Trees can be dead after being burned by a fire, but still standing. They look like big black tooth picks. Pine trees especially evolved to resist fire, but a really hot fire will kill many pine trees.

Does anyone track how many people end up pn the street as long term homeless from wildfires like this? I know Cali homeless jumped after pur huge wildfire years bc insurance is limited here and lot of people weren't able to rebuild or buy after. Some moved out but many?
