plate carrier, some molle, chest rigs. And depending on your training or particular field of firearms training; having multiple attachment points for holsters and 3 point slings. Also depending on your role or what you qualify for. An assortment of pouches and mini-kits or packs on your belt. Have several mag pouches. If you're gonna be part of a forward-assault team or "fireteams" Everything must be in front of you and within inches reach. If you're gonna be carrying heavy weapons and work with a unit. You wont have to worry about cqc cause you're carrying weapons for "suppression" So chest-rig holster. Detachable sling for rifles or heavy weapons and at least 360 rounds of ammunition for your rifle. and at least 50-75 rounds of ammunition for backup. Also your backpack should be filled with spare mags and shells. So your team can "borrow" ammo from you. If you're a point man or is part of a rapid-response rescue team. You're gonna need tourniquets, 2 sets of medkits. and some water, And you're probably gonna have a shield or using an SBR. Best recommendation is using an SBR carbine that shares the same ammo and magazines with your pistol (Glock mags and glock 17's) And have some long sticks and regular pistol mags. No more than 2 guns. 1 is preferred. If you're gonna be a dedicated medic. Then you need more medkits and some "bleeding restriction" tools and medical gear. Nasopharyngeal Airway Tubes. Im also not a medic so fill in whatever medical stuff you can think of that you can bring into the field. Now if you're doing competition. Fill as much magazines and molle as you can, still recommend a chest carrier. And a dump pouch. Also mag extensions and mag plates like the Taran Tactical stuff that allows for easy grip and ensure you dont drop mags. If you're a cop. Just focus on mag reloads and mag switching and getting down that draw. I think you should have full belt filled with mag pouches and just purely reloading. And I think on most of your guns, you should have lasers for that better point-shooting. I also notice police officers dont use red-dot optics, they just have a laser or a flashlight or a lase/flash combos. I mean if you're gonna have a full-size service pistol and you're serving as a cop. I think you should have every accurate advantage you can get. Laser for quick point-shooting. Red dot for long accurate shots, and a flashlight for dark places. The only people I have seen using RMR's is gun-shop commandos and "tactical comp shooters" hell yea. FULLY TACTICAL. Now if you're like me. Just an ol joe. Some mag carriers and just have room to hide some extra mags will do.
This is exactly what I look for in instructional videos. Professionalism, Quality, Honesty, and Realism. Your choice of words and context was crystal clear, I followed you all the way through the video brother. I remember going through training to be an armoured car guard back in 98. Everyone was gung ho all excited they got the job, all tact out in their gear they just bought. I showed up in literally flip flops, shorts and a T-shirt. I nearly got kicked out for the flip flops but I still shot better than half them and passed with flying colours.
Thanks for the video,I try to learn as much as I can, being disabled and shooting are lil different than being able to get around as well as you do. But I still get out and shoot as much as possible so that I can overcome some of my problems!! Thanks again.
Thank you for this video! Learned more, and gave me the answers to a number of questions for both EDC CCDW as well as getting into some more advanced classes I want to get into as I continue my firearms education. And it is tough finding comfortable gear being a larger guy.
Great video, but oddly enough I feel like you talked a lot about gear you DON’T need for shooting/training. Going into this video, I was expecting to get suggestions like a good reliable pistol/rifle, multiple mags, sling, holster, shot timer, steel targets, a training plan...
I have to say that when TH-cam put your video on my feed that my first thought was yeah right, what am I, a former Marine grunt, supposed to learn from a kid on TH-cam? I wonder if mike B would call this dude a range ninja. But honestly, I'm British and I'm using thin air to practise these.. And I feel confident with 5 hours of pre game weapon movement and reload movement etc. That I'd learn these skills effectively. Very good stuff..

Anytime I need gear or products I’d rather pay MSRP from you bc I know you test the crap out of it and won’t sell it unless you know it to be worthy. A lot of social media influencers are being washed out into the light, even some that are owning up to it, but I respect you and your company bc you, even at your young age, have had the wisdom to stay as far away from that paid advertising as possible.

STILL one of my FAV Lucas badass vids. He’s had some terrific training, esp throwing in the airsoft earlier on. We did that with our kiddos in TX. There’s a need for training the youth! Don’t forget they’re going to be there behind us.
Thank you for your advocacy for the Second Amendment. Articulated very well # ar is the modern-day musket... Speak the truth, Ride Hard, and shoot Straight.
have watched your videos a lot in the last month or so and i appreciate the knowledge you have and formatting. while some may not agree with everything you guys stand for i really appreciate you putting your beliefs in the front to carry your message. i just purchased an IWB to support you all and can't wait to try it out. thank you for the discount as well for protecting the innocent. we need more americans out there doing the same. thank you!
Great video Lucas! Keep it up! I love more of the “this is the gear I use and why” type videos. Always love learning why people make the decisions they do. Happy Thanksgiving
you talk the talk and you sure as hell walk the walk well done.... you show a extremely good work ethic... thanks for the inspiration and for sharing what you have learned...
I thought he would have tell us to buy timer and staple gun after the rifle and pistol but it was a different type of gear we were talking about this time :D
At first I just thought you were a badass who trains hard for the simple fact of the skill. Now I know for a fact you have all the knowledge and thought put in that makes you a good dude. Subscriber for life
When are you guys makeing a holster for the 1911!?
Tom oof
@Tom lmfao NO IT DOSNT SUCK XD its a great gun!!!
The make side cars for the 1911
Lucas, you are indeed an inspiration - for training and preparation. Awesome shooting and 2A education!
I'd love to see a competition, between you, Instructor Zero, and Jerry Miculek - the fastest shooters I've ever seen! That would certainly attract a ton of viewers, to the 2A cause.
Lucas, well done man. I see you man, just realize lions need not be concerned with the opinions of sheep. So keep rocking man and ignore the haters. Respect
Just seen this video of yours. Very nicely said. Good reminder to everyone who carrys, shoots on Sundays, shoots once a year, wants to shoot.
From the uk 🇬🇧 I love what you do and how you do it ,IMO I love you ethics regardless of the infringements on the 2nd amendment right to bear arms is amazing keep it up
If I were to ever go to war I would want you by my side Lucas, Bad ass shooting my man and some outstanding tips on gear and training.
Perfect. Just in time for Xmas.
Very glad you mentioned the blurb on equipment, "mossy oak" shotguns, and the like. Love the channel!
Time to go broke
Edouard Bracame max your credit card and pay it back in month yolo’
Lorgar 😂😂
Thank you for clarifying your 2A stance! Amen! Every CITIZEN should have this stuff and train with it! Thanx Lucas!you rock, buddy!
Thought of the old ladies in that commercial when she told them, "That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works. "
😆 hahahahaha
plate carrier, some molle, chest rigs.
“Gucciest gear” 😂😂😂 i like this guy
This is exactly what I look for in instructional videos. Professionalism, Quality, Honesty, and Realism. Your choice of words and context was crystal clear, I followed you all the way through the video brother. Train Train and when you think your good enough and comfortable...KEEP TRAINING SOME MORE! excellent video. Easiest SUBSCRIBE EVER MADE 👍🏻
I spent so much money on trying to look swaggy its rediculous xD
Crimson Hawk I like that his mag holders use a clip in old school I like paddle OWBholsters and magwell carries
@@nohandle74 priorities bro
I remember going through training to be an armoured car guard back in 98. Everyone was gung ho all excited they got the job, all tact out in their gear they just bought. I showed up in literally flip flops, shorts and a T-shirt. I nearly got kicked out for the flip flops but I still shot better than half them and passed with flying colours.
Great advice about OUR Second Ammendments' purpose! God himself has made you extremely talented man!
Thanks for the video,I try to learn as much as I can, being disabled and shooting are lil different than being able to get around as well as you do. But I still get out and shoot as much as possible so that I can overcome some of my problems!! Thanks again.
Just saying still waiting on that ak video
Bailey Smith Seconded!
Thank you for this video! Learned more, and gave me the answers to a number of questions for both EDC CCDW as well as getting into some more advanced classes I want to get into as I continue my firearms education. And it is tough finding comfortable gear being a larger guy.
Everyone needs a dump pouch.. It's the Gucciest part of your gear..😂
AKABLACKKGYPSY 😂😂
I could watch you shoot all day. Truly remarkable shooting. Captjohn.
Great video, but oddly enough I feel like you talked a lot about gear you DON’T need for shooting/training. Going into this video, I was expecting to get suggestions like a good reliable pistol/rifle, multiple mags, sling, holster, shot timer, steel targets, a training plan...
HawkeyeMO72 To be fair, he has already done separate in-depth videos on basically all of this.
Lucas your are so fluid , it great to see younger Americans support 2A and be vey knowledgeable. You inspire me to train and train .
9:50 That's not how this works. THAT'S NOT HOW ANY OF THIS WORKS! XD
th-cam.com/video/no0qB8CVspY/w-d-xo.html
Great info as always. You and your brother have to do another one of the low light videos. For anyone who hasn’t seen it I highly recommend it.
11:21 sound signature at that angle got my pp tingling.
Lucas is on fire! Highly motivating, thank you!
As soon as I saw the title I said to myself "A gun"
I have to say that when TH-cam put your video on my feed that my first thought was yeah right, what am I, a former Marine grunt, supposed to learn from a kid on TH-cam? Well, I kept an open mind and sure enough you're a hard working and knowledgeable guy and I'm glad I gave your channel a chance. It clicked when a SWAT guy liked your belt and I realized it was your / your rep company. Thanks for the videos!
Half man Half machine
Moon it’s more 80/20 machine/human
Damn brother....you ain't nothing nice... Im a 16 year U.S. Army soldier and Florida Dept of Law Enforcement...Im glad you're on our side...Well done indeed!
Perfect demonstration of autism
Damn, in that case I want to be autistic too in order to have access these high quality guns
Bro. You a beast with the guns Lucas. Need to put you in a movie or something. That has to be years of training to move so fluid like that. Keep it up brother. Continue to teach dudes like us how its done.
Great setup. Very informative. Training first! Master the basics, love how Lucas drills this!
really good video and like that you mentioned training and getting on the range beats money. I am all ready sliding down the rabbit hole and enjoying your videos and my time on the range and reloading.
I wonder if mike B would call this dude a range ninja. But honestly, I'm British and I'm using thin air to practise these.. And I feel confident with 5 hours of pre game weapon movement and reload movement etc. That I'd learn these skills effectively. Very good stuff..
Lucas! 8:20 is 🔥. I 100% support your business, your mission, and your views.
I appreciate you recognizing that! The community deserves people who are genuine.
T.REX ARMS 2a deserves people that are genuine. 2a isn’t a sales pitch or a way to make a huge profit at the expense of others. It’s a freedom all others lean on. You and a few others realize that. You are much needed in this bastardized and NRA era of guns and freedom.
That one handed double tap in the ending✊ this dude is a shooting god. Lucas give me 10 mins on the range with you
I was getting exhausted just watching this.
I am incredibly impressed.
I use a dump pouch to hold hardware when i’m doing my commercial diving work. Got it mounted right on my harness. The gromets are rusted on at this point but it holds. It beats stuffing washers nuts and bolts up my wetsuit sleeve 👌🏻
I like that statement.."It's about having a modern day musket and then having the equipment to complement that..."
